The better question is when will KishixSasu become canon? How many more a-pull powerups and escapes[aka low chakra Manda summon against Deidara] will we get until Kishi pronounces his undying love for Sasuke.

Well for one, why would Kushina not want to be taken seriously when these were her DYING WORDS.

Of course. She wants to show she's strong like them, yet tell only Naruto since he's basically the only one to listen and follow. For the record, if you think about it, people would say she wants to get strong for Sasuke so she can redeem from that chapter when she was bashed by Sasuke about being weak. Wrong. Her redemption so to speak happened in the chapter with Sasuke telling her that she can read genjutsu. So that's taken care of. Naruto and Sakura's part is not yet done but here we are.

@4life: I'm not sure what people are thinking if they say that Kushina's words are not to be taken seriuously.
 
-First of all, not only did she wanted Naruto to find someone like her, but his father also told him to listen to his mother.
-Second, After her reunion with Naruto, Naruto found himself reflecting on her words
-And third, Minato's words in this chapter along with his expression are proof that he is happy with his son.

No. This is clear as you can get. Naruto is dead serious about his mother's advice.

I don't know but I don't think she expect any answers or feedbacks from him. If you go back to the past, it's always center Naruto that she can prove that she's strong. Even back in H&E bridge, she only talked about Naruto. In a way, maybe it's a hint that she truly wanted to show off to him. Agreed, but focusing on just Sakura and Sasuke's relationship, it seems like the Land of Iron arc was the last straw. I'm starting to think that 540 was less of a "I'm still in love with him." Vibe and more of a, "This is never going to happen."

I love that he's in it. The fact that he's just taking up that little corner and carelessly glancing over makes him look like some random bystander. Yes he's there, but this conversation is between Naruto and Sakura.

yeah and break his perfect susano which reminds me we only got to see about 3 pages of his full power if sakura breaks his perfect susano her development will sky rocket beyond belief just thinking about is getting me really excited

Well, we will learn the point of that panel soon. She's in questioned, that's for sure. It doesn't help when Sasuke is going to go for Hokage in a selfish way, which also goes against Naruto's dream. If Kishi remembered this, thanks to recent movie, then we are in for something grand. We can only hope.

Well yeah. It's possible that the "Thank you" was it. That or just not meant to be. Honestly, it's passed on and we are just waiting to see where she's in with Sasuke.
