A couple of pages back, 4life quoted his friend's translation of a part of the novel.

Yeah yeah I saw that but I wonder... who exactly wrote it?!

As obvious it is that NaruSaku will happen because of all these hints from so many places around. It is somewhat fun to see everyone in denial. I would love to pull out the "I told you so" card at the end of this all as well but I will follow Naruto's goals and try to bring true peace instead of starting another war.

Just imagine after the whole war ends when Naruto's father is watching, sakura like the pein arc goes towards Naruto and just kisses him with everyone else watching. Like the amount of kittening feels I will get will be surreal and it doesn't seem like an asspull at all . I can see this happening especially with Sakura's resolve towards sasuke hinting to be shown probably even within this volume.

mmh, to me that translation is pretty accurate... Anyway is does that bothering you?

It's extremely surprising that a lot of the fans in the US literally only like this manga for the couples. To me it's sort of silly. I spend so much time trying to predict events and think of other stuff while reading this manga. The rest just came naturally to me. It's honestly something ridiculous how a fictional couple can effect some people so much to go ahead and fully give up on the manga but it will definitely happen. Naruto is nearing the end and kishi needs to start narrowing everything down.

Ah, that line was what Jiraiya said to Tsunade in Tsunade's flashback, right? Although in this case it would almost seem to imply Tsunade had a thing for Orochimaru. The novel isn't written by Kishimoto, is it?

it wasn't written by him but he illustrated it.  Either way he had a hand in the novel.

Well, yeah. It's a shame that the fandom will just quit the manga automatically once a pairing die. I think Kishi is going all the way and couldn't care less because he is telling a story, and that's what the author intends to do. Not going to lie, but I do hope the heel turn happens here to cause a stir and get on with it, without holding back. Time to see the truth. Honestly, I won't be surprised that the reunion for SS sake is the acknowledgement part, not love part. I think the love part is on her own, no Sasuke's presence is needed. So yeah, deal with it. But who knows, anything can happen. I say go for it because if Juubi is defeated, then this is an easy win for the alliance. Sasuke seen as an opponent can slow down everything. But again, who knows.

I am from the US and I am a NS fan. IMO, Sakura status will improve when she is finally over Sasuke. I still believe that is where a lot of the hate comes from.

 

I think the fans that care about the pairs will leave for a little bit, but come back for the ending. I want to see if Naruto is the next SO6Ps.

 

I hope Kishi ends SS soon. I feel if he keeps the ship wars alive, he is bringing hatred against his characters. Plus I can't grasp Sakura still being in love with Sasuke after everything too. When Sasuke shows his true motive, I can't see her still struggling with her feelings after that.

 

IMO, it would be best to end SS in the next chapter. Then let NS grow from there.

I believe there will still be a huge SS moment coming.  But don't you think guys that it is better that before knowing what pairing will stand at the end, we have to see all the aces of SS and of NS, I mean everything?   I think the only pairs that are in a battle right now are SS and NS, aren't they?  Maybe NH, but I think it's somewhat vague.
