Ah, that line was what Jiraiya said to Tsunade in Tsunade's flashback, right? Although in this case it would almost seem to imply Tsunade had a thing for Orochimaru. The novel isn't written by Kishimoto, is it?

You got to remember. This is a fictional story that Jiraiya made about an underdog, which is why Nagato and Naruto were inspired by. It's more like "How coincidence that the story is similar to Naruto's life." Not to mention how the main character has the same name. That all said you shouldn't look into that deep but we can see that many of these writers are heavily rooting for NS outcome. Is it written by Kishi? I don't know but I do know that the writer wrote the latest Sasuke novel as well as Blood Prison. I wouldn't say written, but it can be associated by him. Again, don't read too deep with Sannin trio. It's meant to be an underdog story.

This all depends on one thing though, how fast the story is moving, I mean after this recent chapter with the ten tails falling down, is it really defeated or just down for the count? Depends if more is to come with the jubbi or if the fight with it is really over this soon.

Yes I know, I was just amused with the fact that it looked like Tsunade was made into an Orochimaru admirer to fit the parallel. I'm not saying it actually means anything for what ship becomes canon.

I found out the Blood Prison novel was credited to Masashi Kishimoto and Higashiyama Akira. I'm guessing the former is just a formality given to the creator, the latter is the person who did the bulk of the writing.

I dunno. The past two chapters have been kind of unnecessary. The only important moments of 633 and 634 were at the very end. Seeing some combo attacks which ultimately won't even scratch the Juubi isn't very exciting or fast paced. But he did pick up the pace.

I just got a feeling that this could be the scariest moment of SS can ever ache. I am not a fan, but I can see where the pressure is growing in me, and that's saying a lot if I'm not fond of it.

Well, that can happen. There were story that have the girl doubting her love life could not happen and the boy will cheer her up and say that she has great quality to the point he expose a little of himself, which mean he is interested in her like that. Trust me, we are on a nice safe road.

Because Sasuke turning heel or against them will not fit well and right now, it's bad to make SS look bad when NS just got momentum. Let's face it, if Sasuke turns here, then the chance of NS interaction that will change her forever will increase a lot because honestly, the very end interaction for SS will be too late. If you ask me, it seems that chapter 631 pretty much tells us that the reason why we didn't see NS moments is because they are this close to finally end it all, so yeah, it's awkward to talk more on it when the war is on. That's why the time for SS breaking off is bad. Again, a lot of fans know this and worry this that they will jump ship if Sasuke turns bad. I don't know if Sasuke will go bad now or even ever, but that bomb is sounding louder than ever. Delay it!

I forgot which one and maybe I'm remembering a wrong part here too.

 

So, was it filler ?

Yeah, it is filler, whether that happened or not. I did like the flashback that led Jiraiya to meet Nagato and others.

It's Jiraiya's novel that he wrote and was sold in Germany and now in Italy. Jiraiya is the old perv, Naruto's mentor XD

 

A couple of pages back, 4life quoted his friend's translation of a part of the novel.
