The truth of the matter is also that the NH fan base has grown to be a major part of the readers of naruto and kishi wants them reading til the very end.

I also think that what Kishi is doing for them. He wants from them to read til the very end and not make them disinterested anymore. But, it could be that he planned that way for Hinata and not for them.

Apparently, a lot of people were sad of me leaving. I assure you I wasn't going to leave permanently. Just till things died down. We already have enough people cause problems and I was afraid to overstep my boundaries, but things seems to be getting back to normal.

The truth of the matter is also that the NH fan base has grown to be a major part of the readers of naruto and kishi wants them reading til the very end.

I hope that isn't the only reason. I mean, how are the SS fans still reading if SS has been shut down hard or are they not reading period? As much as I like NS I don't want shipping choice to alter the manga that way. I want the manga to flow properly and give good hints.

It's just we want ours to be canon and so do the NH fans, but what I am trying to think is where is Kishi going? If NH were to be canon, why didn't he do it at the Hinata confession? Likewise with the Sakura confession. Not like he didn't have the chance to do it then. Same with SS, why not make it canon when he had the chance to?

I think he already knows what the ending is, but he wrote himself into a corner and is now trying to play catch up with everything else. Would explain why everything feels rushed.

Thing is, he already forced the recent NH moment on us. How do you think it led up to Naruto & Hinata holding hands? Neji had to die and Naruto had to look like a hopeless baby, and out of nowhere pops heroine Hinata. If that doesn't scream force then I don't know what will. NH being forced on us is a possibility.

I acknowledge that he's capable of forcing NH in the end, but for the moment, it feels like he's just pandering to Hinata fans while he still can. I mean, he gives us a completely forced moment for Hinata where she accomplishes everything she said she was going to do on 573, and the chapter is released on her birthday - of all days. The only way to know is to wait and see what he does with this arc. I'm crossing my fingers that he's just throwing a bone to her fanbase, and that moving forward, things will be back on track. At least, what we consider "back on track".

I think most of SS fans are hoping that if NH ever become canon, it means that SS might have a chance. But we all know that, if by any chance, NH became canon, it doesn't mean that SS would happen.

I specifically don't know exactly, but the first thing it comes to my mind is that he don't want the other pairing fans, who are reading the manga for the sake of their favorite pairing to see if it happens or not, to lose interest in the manga. You can say also that he makes fan services now just to please and move on for future purposes with the decided paring.

I think it's more like the other way around.

If he can make SS happen, he'll probably make NH happen as well. After all, SS is a much farther stretch than NH, at least in IMO.

It's not fan catering or making sure none of the fans are pissed off cause their pairing didn't happen. It's about giving the fans a satisfying end to what they want. If NS happened much sooner, you would have the NH fans and the SS fan screaming "WTF?" and a whole bigger mess. We know that if NH and SS were the intended pairing, things would have been done much differently.

Why go through all this trouble if the intended pairing was something different? It doesn't make sense. It can't be fan catering because NH would have been canon already 100-200 chapters ago and Sasuke would have been saved by now and be in love with Sakura.

What Kishimoto is trying to do is give all the final pairings a final salute. Giving them one last run and one last moment before he ends it with NS. It is by far the only explanation that makes sense and explain a lot of what is happening. NH fans will disagree with me, but even they can not answer why NH didn't happen before or ever will happen. All they got is this moment to work with.

It would also explain why SS is saved for last as one last hurdle to get over.

Exactly how I think Kishi is setting up his plan for fan services.

But, that doesn't mean we won't see NH moments or SS moments and interactions from them in the future chapters. Everyone should expect this, really. Plus, that doesn't mean a threat to NS every time we see Naruto and Hinata talking and same goes to Sasuke and Sakura ( cause in the reunion, we'll definitely see them talking together or something). The most high interaction between Naruto and Hinata has been done as we saw in ch.615, cause what more else can Naruto do with her than holding her hand.

It other words to put it more simple. Since the story is almost reaching the finish line, Kishi is going to throw the opposite fans one final bone before he finishes it with his pairing of choice.
