But it's not...and that is what disturbs me....
All the characters keep fluxing in personalities and going back and forth, the Gaiden manga is so out of place it is creepy, and I just feel....empty.
I mean I really feel like they think we are idiots by dangling these "nostalgic moments" and saying "Look, it is just like it was before." I am like "No, it is not. You have Sasuke and Sakura "married" and Naruto and Hinata married. No matter how nostalgic you make their personalities, you can't just makes us ignore or forget the elephant in the room that is these forced pairings."
It's trying to make me feel, but it isn't making me feel anything other than more pissed off.
All I am thinking now is "Why? What was wrong with NaruSaku that it was deemed "not good enough?" Why couldn't this pairing happen instead you settled for these....they are not even half-assed paiirngs, but full-assed pairings with NO attempt to keep things the way it was." It was all so awkward and out of place and now are we just expected to "accept it and here is a bunch of dangling keys to keep you satisfied."
I can't. It pisses me off more and more the more I look at all these screen shots of these characters, but it is all one huge lie and worse still when I see people like accepting these things. "Wow, Sakura being a really supportive mother is so good." And all I can think of is "Yeah, she could have been supporting mother to Shinachiku too."
I just want to destroy it and erase it all from history and the minds of all the fans. Just destroy it all. I can't stand it.
Why? Why did this all have to happen?
Kishi had already in mind who Hinata was meant to end up with... Neji. The choice was clear back during the Chunnin exam when Kishi was at his best in terms of writing and almost every elements and small details had a meaning. Taken from the wiki couples.

Neji and Hinata's placement in Naruto chapter 79 and Rock Lee's Springtime of Youth chapter 9 is allude to the Chinese concept of the Yin and Yang (Neji as Yin and Hinata as Yang). In Chinese philosophy, yin and yang are concepts used to describe how apparently opposite or contrary forces are actually complementary, interconnected, and interdependent giving rise to each other as they interrelate. Many tangible dualities (such as light and dark, fire and water, and male and female) are thought of as physical manifestations of the duality of yin and yang. This duality lies at the origins of many branches of classical Chinese science and philosophy, as well as being a primary guideline of traditional Chinese medicine, and a central principle of different forms of Chinese martial arts and exercise.
- Yin is the negative/passive/female principle in nature, and may allude to many other concepts such as the moon, shaded orientation, something covert or concealed, "of the netherworld", overcast or sinister.
- Yang is the positive/active/male principle in nature, and may allude to many other concepts such as the sun, open, overt, and "belonging to this world".
Its insane how truly opposites they were and yet interrelated. She was the heiress and part of the main branch but was considered trash with no talent, being too kind and backbone. Neji was a talent born in the wrong branch (Its damn obvious that Hizachi wished he was born into the main branch due to his talent to become the next leader) and was arrogant and strict. The clan was not in harmony, they hated each other and the seal was terrible and they could mind rape you if you barely showed signs of anger. Naruto's interaction with Neji and Hinata was supposed to unite the clan through them because he knew how they felt more than anyone and triumphed over his own curse.
Neji falling for Hinata little by little would actually have made him a better person (Naruto told him to try to understand Hinata because she was similar to him) because she would bring kindness and empathy to him and he would bring to her talent and discipline.
Edit: If they got together Neji would have been freed from his curse by mixing the blood of the main branch. The effects of the seal would be cancelled out.
Kishi could have made Naruhina in a better in ch 700. He could have show them together being happy like FMA or Kenshin... The last image of Hinata is her still longing for Neji and in a way ending with him...
