@TheQueenB:
My reasoning is more of the possibility of Kishi not following through on his story and changing pairing choice on a whim at the last minute. I'll say it before and I'll say it again: that is the only way NaruHina would become canon. It was never planned or the original pairing. If it was, then NaruSaku wouldn't have gotten so much focus.
I know we don't know a lot about the movie. I'm not trying to be pessimistic or jump to too many conclusions. But it's just the snippets we got: Naruto suddenly wearing scarves when he never wore them, Hinata giving him another scarf, Hinata being overly sympathized with in that one summary, Hinata's sister conveniently getting kidnapped for no reason when she was always so nonexistent ... even if it's nothing, doesn't this feel forced to you? I said it before. They just feel like excuses to make Hinata relevant or worse case scenario NH canon. It just seems that way, though I know it could end up wrong.
Of course we need more information. No one should jump ship or declare NH canon. But I'd be lying if these advertisements either don't make much sense so far or are concerning ... not enough to say canon, but enough to be cautious.
