Guys, I think you forgot that is NS's home. A debate is eventually just a debate anywhere and anytime. Just as how you bump into different kind of things in your life. Nothing will change.

I like the ending, so yes, I do a lot of defense of the pairings that come with it, because they're the primary complaint of it. Of those who hate the ending, it tends to source from either pairings, or just hating the entire manga in general (To which I question why did the latter even read it?).

 

When you've invested over more than 7 years of your time in something, it's pretty hard to just up and stop reading. By the time the war arc came around, I was just reading to see if NS would happen or not. Everything else sucked for reasons I've explained again and again in many threads here. By chapter 615, I was all but sure there wouldn't be an NS resolution and was of the impression that the author was merely going to give a vague ending and leave it that. Even made a post on this forum saying just that. Never would've dreamed he'd take the "red herring" cop-out approach and then get mad at his own readers (hence his editor's silly and condescending tweet about "respecting the author's decision) for it.

You don't have to address me, that's fine.
I've stated why I like NS, and it's positive things. Really, I retort on threads, and sometimes threads like you mention, only when thing are played up as facts, to which I like to respond to these facts with counter facts. I do listen to counter-points, and some discussions have been really interesting on that. It's not about winning the argument, there is no winning, it's about having a fruitful discussion where I can gain a new piece of view, or perhaps give one. Some, or a lot of things are going to repeat, notably because people are saying the same thing again in different thread, or different page even, so I bring up the same piece of information I did to another.
 
The term delusional isn't addressing anyone, merely an idea someone holds. Though yes, I do think having a conspiracy theory of me on a 9-5 shift as an agent of some former forum user is... something close to that, if not that exactly.
 
I don't mind being questioned on my inclinations, nor do I mind reassuring them often. I think it's important that we broaden our definition of what an NS fan is, that we can like the ending, and don't have to say we hate it just to fit in.
 

I can't make anyone leave, and I'm sorry evil100 left. I'm one NS fan that likes the end. Evil100 shouldn't leave for that, though, you should talk to them if you want them back and persuade them.
As for this last sentence... what "dumb" retcons? What do you mean force Hinata in the main light and making her useless, or Naruto being made into a jerk that just uses people to get what he wants? The last I find... an odd remark to make, so I'm interested in what your reasoning is to make such a statement.
 

 
I don't like NS being described as a Crack ship, mind, because it's not a joke to me, thus fanon ship.
 
Granted, I see SNS as a crack ship, but others see it as a fanon thing, so I try to avoid crack ship terms altogether in respect for other fandoms.

Having naruto and hinata Meet as kids was never in the magna, naruto never learned shadow clones til he was 12 but the last shows him doing it before the academy. Hinata had no point in the story til that movie so that's what I mean by forcing her to the main light. He's not going to listen but I can try I'll just tell him to ignore you no offense, cause I hear your posts are what made him leave. Hinata has do nothing in the series after her dumb movie. That you only loved me cause he didn't want to lose to sasuke, makes naruto seem like everything he did was based off his rivalry with sasuke and he used say rivalry to use people to get what he wants since he doesn't care about anyone but sasuke.

1: Having Naruto Hinata Meet as kids was never in the manga: It doesn't contradict anything the manga points out, the manga states they knew eachother before the Chuunin Exams, so having them meet as kids seems quite fitting into that placed out mold.
2: The Shadowclones was an error, not a retcon. This is the most overbeat part of the Last, fair as it is, it is an error.
3: Hinata had a significant point in being a supporting character, and it was fairly well executed, take Hinata out of certain places, and well, Naruto isn't alive or successful. So she certainly has a purpose. 
4: My posts are text, if he doesn't want to return, that is certainly fine, I tried my best to be as respectful as possible.
5: And so do most of the original characters? It's Boruto that happens after the movie.
6: I explained this line, and it's one of the most mis-understood lines by this particular fandom. It fits quite well into what is established. If anything, it's the manga's execution of it that suffers, being more informed than displayed.

Naruto never noticed even in the manga and she never showed up til chapter 40, doesn't matter it's still shouldn't be there.
Nothing naruto did was ever for Hinata, so take her out and nothing changes cause naruto would had a plan to escape pain, neji's death could have avoided, even as a supporting character she does nothing, only supporting characters who mattered were shikamaru, Lee, neji, Garra, jiraya , and tsunade no one else.
Evil100 like hates the ending so much so really you do what you do and we'll hate it, he hates it so much his going bash hinata so hard in his stories now and kill her in gory ways.
Newsflash the Naruto Fandom makes no sense as do any Fandoms. Naruto's Fandom happens to be the worse.

The moment when Naruto manages to make shadow clones the first time is very very significant. He'd been struggling and trying really hard but his clones came out like lifeless stuffed toys. Then when Iruka is in danger he gets this power awakening, and it kind of established Naruto's character. It's also the first "epic" moment in the series and was what made me continue watching.

 

Taking away that in the movie is more than an error, because of this. Every other relationship Naruto had got butchered and Hinata was squeezed in to fill the role of everyone of them.

 

Also I have to say this; I understand the frustration that every thread is taken over at this moment, but the users replying to Analyzer are as much at fault. If you want that person to stop posting, you should stop replying. We can't, and shouldn't, chase people away for personal reasons.

So are you agreeing with me that the last screwed up the canon of naruto as the last opening scene goes against the first chapter?

I want to respond to a number of points and will when I have more time, but I am going to say thing:

 

For several pages I've seen a number of users tell Analyzer he isn't an NS fan or at least a true one. I LOATHE fans telling other people what they are a fan of and defining the proper bounds of what constitutes a true fan. This line of debate needs to discontinue. 

Sorry, but you can't call yourself a vegan and eat a pork sandwich. In the same retrospect, I don't call myself a NH fan when I clearly don't support them.

Her status as a genuine NS fan is immaterial and people need to spending so much time on it. You either believe her or you don't. She can post here as long as he complies with the rules regardless of what fandom she supports. People need to stop wasting time with it. Drop it and move on. 
 

The last is in the eye of the beholder, I disagree, though people can be very bad behaved in this and other fandoms. The Naruto fandom IMO is just more noticeable as it is larger.

Something occur to me and see if you can refresh my memory:

Naruto was portrayed as a lonely boy who was hated by everyone. By the last arc of part 1, it turned out that he has Shikamaru, Chouji, and Kiba as friends; just lonely when it's their time to go home. Would you say that's a retcon in order to make that team seem like "brothers to the end" vibe?

I'm with you that I ship NS because if the plot. If naruto doesn't love sakura in the first place I will never consider them as canon pairing and thus I will never ship them.

Remember that filler with that kid whose name started with a Y, can't remember the actual spelling and Naruto as a kid, along with Sakura, Kiba, Shikamaru, Chouji and Ino assist that kid? Kishimoto should've expand the relationship in Naruto's circle and it will make something positive in Naruto's life. It will make something believable to the audience than "unimportant" taking over Naruto's life.

the naruto fans are so strange especially the sasusaku fans they will go to any reason for sakura and sasuke being happy together and sarada as the daughter i'm thinking kishi actually should make sarada karin's daughter it would help the story and i wanna see the ss fans try to make a excuse at that point. i'm guessing what will happen at this point with the ships being the only thing keeping fans interested it would end naruto's popularity because the shippers would leave

By unimportant you mean sasuke?
Well kishi goes overboard by making sasuke the hero and heroine at the same time post part 1 and making naruto obsession unjustified. It would more believable if naruto is gay or he's a villain.
