Who else thinks Sasuke is just acting good and helping them out for now? Once the main villain is out of the way, he's going to go back to his old ways. Anyone else agree?

I'm just glad that i'm not the only one here who likes Obito  :sweat:  :sweat:


I love Obito, I felt like his "pain" was the most tangible of anybody that there was in the manga so far.

I'm not saying it does, I'm saying its possible. Kishi is keeping what Rin said to Minato a secret, atleast for now which means its likely something he was saving for later.

 

Since it was something that was directed towards Obito and Kakashi its all the more likely she said something about liking both of them.

I think Rin definitely noticed Obito the same way Kakashi did. Obito had big dreams, and he also had that drive to protect his friends... Kakashi was "cool" but he wasn't very into teamwork back then. I think Rin probably started admiring Obito, the same way Sakura did to Naruto in Part 1.

 

But of course their lives ended too quickly, for us to really even make any assumptions...

Why do people NOT ship these two? I just don't get it.

Probably cause they hate Sakura. When she's probably the most developed female character in the whole show.

I respect Hinata, but Sakura deserves some too.

I want Sasuke to get some resolve... But yeah, he's probably gonna go back to ignoring them. But at least he cares about them and appreciates them a little more now. It's progress right?

I think Part 1 Sakura showed more signs of having a thing for Naruto than Rin ever did for Obito.

It was stated in the databooks as well! Something like "But her heart looks Naruto's way" or something like that! Just heard about it though

Ah yes! Started off hating Naruto and making fun of his dream. Then she began to admire his never give up attitude and strength,

then acknowledged just how much  his dream mattered to him and started supporting his dream,

then acknowledging how much Naruto had grown and getting inspired by him,

then PoAL where she realizes Naruto is the one she trusts the most because he has always been there for her,

then vowing to get stronger to help Naruto.

 

Sakura's growth and journey of understanding Naruto has been beautifully written in part 1.

Well we know she loves Kakashi, when she and Obito "died" it wouldn't make much sense for her to be just in love with Obito and not Kakashi for no reason during that time.

And...what were they?

599 is the famous (infamous) Obito revelation chapter with no dialouge until the very last panel, which happens to be Obito's name. 605 is the chapter where he witnesses Rin's death and goes on a killing spree against the Mist ninja. Not only was Obito completely badass in the way he slaughtered those poor ninjas, but it was coupled with beautifully drawn art.
