it was a time Rin was talking to Minato, we aren't sure what she was telling Minato but it could have been that she loves Obito.

I'm just glad that i'm not the only one here who likes Obito

I like Obito, though moreso young Obito. I do like the idea of characters being redeemed in the end. But at the same time don't think any crimes a character has committed should go unpunished.

Agreed. But I mean he's gonna die anyways..

Why do people NOT ship these two? I just don't get it.

Probably cause they hate Sakura. When she's probably the most developed female character in the whole show.

I respect Hinata, but Sakura deserves some too.

Funny, I see equal. Well a little but Kakashi needed to fight Obito for his sake. Once that was done, well, he was gone and did nothing. Only to get his eye ripped but that's beside the point. To me, I don't see anything wrong with any. What I do see wrong is why Kakashi is there awake. It's about what's going on now. Kishi always place these characters as chess pieces, it's only matter of time. To be honest, this volume isn't a real fight. I feel like Kishi wants us to think that. Now let's say they seal her in the next chapter, do you honestly believe so? I feel like there's another way. That or whatever she's getting ready is going to happen as soon as they try to seal her. All in all, this feels like a long buildup volume, especially since Hokages are still unknown. But we'll see.

Equal? Not even close. Do you know how much Kakashi vs Obito was spanned to? Even if it was for his sake, it still gave Kakashi much relevancy. And even in the midst of that, he was called upon in battle for his eyes. Remember the Kakashi, Naruto and Killer bee vs Obito, Faildara and Juubi fight? He's been apart of one of the most powerhouse battles in this series.

Why do you think we got super hyped just at the mere presence of Sakura being within battle distance? It's because we feel that it's a rarity nowadays. With Kakashi, you're never surprised because he's always gonna get his time to shine, which he has gotten plenty of.

Take AOT for example. Eeren, the protagonist of the series, goes missing for about a chapter or two. But guess what? We're not worried because we know the kind of author that's behind this series. We know that Eern is gonna get his, that Mikasa is gonna get hers, that Armin is gonna get his. Now I'm not saying AOT is better than Naruto. But in terms of consistency it's better.

You know Naruto is gonna get his, that Sasuke is gonna get his, that Kakashi is gonna get his. But what about Sakura? Is she gonna get hers? And even if she get hers, will she be able to keep up with the rest of the guys? Now I'm not talking about in terms of power since that has long be screwed up by Kishi.

I guess I don't know, I don't see it that way and I read both. Of course I would like more from many but this is a long drawn out FMA style: no small baddies, just one main group.

We have no clue as to whether Rin really loved Obito or not...

But we can say for now, that she has not been shown to have romantic interest in him. We know that she loved Kakashi and cared deeply about Obito.

Excellent. Totally agree. Young Obito was so much better than the person he grew up to be. I don't like the

over-glorifying of the villian-turned hero characters . Redemption with regrets is okay but them suddenly becoming the ultimate good people? meh.

Its like if there is such a thing as 'goodness gear', people like Kakashi are stuck on 2nd or 3rd gear but these villian-turned heroes jump from reverse gear to fifth gear. Very unpleasant experience.

I don't know why Kishimoto likes so much the drama and confusion, that tendency to complicate situations and cause emotional trauma and pain in the past of his characters he wants realism but sometimes I wonder if it's too much and if he has reached a level so complex that will make it difficult to convince his readers that if his character ever find happiness at the end of the manga.

I hope Obito even if he belonging to an older generation find some happiness, so far I like his humanism I really liked his character how he analyze Sakura emotions, Obito has given an interesting twist in this arc , I hope that happens that you guys are saying and Kakashi or Minato reveal that Rin realy love him would be lovely and beautiful like narusaku :wink:
