So finally decided to give this series a go as ive downloaded all the episodes during my holidays.
So far so good, im 40ish episodes in, and loving it!
Altho i'm conflicted between NaLu and NatsuxEzra 
I just dont like Ezra with that blue haired evil looking guy. :3
Edit: i've been hit with the feels train so many times, i lost count.
Oh yeah I think a lot of fans started shipping Natsu and Erza earlier in the series, especially during the Tower of Heaven arc. Later it becomes more obvious who really belongs to who. As for me, I never really shipped them, they were always just good friends for me, I just couldn't see any more potential.
Yeah I can see why you don't like Jellal, even now I think Jerza is one of the more depressing ships, but hey, if she wants him, who am I to judge? And as someone already pointed out, you might just start warming up to Jellal, give it some time. 
I've seen many people say Celestial Mages is weak and I have to disagree. I think it's a rare and complicated magic. People seem to forget that Summoning a spirit aka a zodiac takes a lot of magic power and to keep the gate open constantly drains the user. Which I'm glad Lucy get's her current upgrade because not only does she have two origins but it get's increased when she uses a zodiacs power on herself. SO basically she get's 3 origins in a way.
Not only that, Celestial Mages seem to able to use caster magic as well however those spells are rare as it is aka Urano Metria which is a lost magic.
You know what, amen to that. I can't stand people calling Lucy weak because she can't wield 100 swords like Erza. I realize Natsu and Erza's type of magic is more flashy and seems more cool, but you can't call it better or stronger than Lucy's. It's all about what the person does with it and how much he/she trains. Also, I think that Lucy's star dresses are the coolest thing I've seen lately. There is no denying that she's the one who's had the most development ability-wise. You could visibly see her getting stronger while most other characters were just using the same style and attacks over and over again.
