Well not like the story has him all the sudden pass all tests and give him everything all the sudden. It's a personal fight, so I don't mind that much. No, I'm not throwing a silver platter. Trust me, I get rough when things go really wrong. Right now, it dodged the silver bullet of rivalry gone dark bs. It stick to the core of what the story was going for, more or less.

I can understand the reaction but if this was like chapter 300, yeah, it would have been odd. Now, I'm fine. The next chapter could change my mind but until then, I'm not bothered.

I enjoy Bakugo, but I don't justify his bullying of Izuku. Hopefully something is done about his attitude and hopefully this is the catalyst for it. If not, then it'll be bad writing.

That I would agree. Sounds like one anime that I listed in my worst anime category.

Yeah that is my main problem with Izuku Losing all the time to Katsuki in a direct fight. Until Izuku wins against him, I don't think the whole bullying from their childhood would ever be resolved. It's not about  making them in a better relationship or anything, but having Izuku win and address the abuse Katsuki put him through. That's why I wasn't satisfied with the outcome personally. Like I said, Katsuki always tormented Izuku from when they were kids and nothing Izuku says about admiring him gets across, or how they ended up in their type of relationship will never be addressed until Izuku proves to Katsuki he has surpassed him under the terms that Katsuki oh so loves:being the best fighter.

I haven't even read the newest chapter yet, and I'm already starting to hate Bakugou more with every growing second from all the posts I have read in here. I hate this character so much. I hate him, I hate him, I hate him! I never understood why Deku held so much respect for him. Bakugou was one of the reasons, Deku's elementary and middle school years were hell. At least Sasuke didn't bully Naruto like Bakugou did (and I hate Sasuke, too). Jfc.

 

How the hell did Bakugou win the no 1 spot in the character poll list?!

Oh for sure dear, I'm not disagreeing with anything you say. However I don't think Izuku ever admired Katsuki's personality. I just think he admires the latter's drive to be the best, his talent with his quirk, and all the effort he puts into his dream. That is not to say Bakugou Katsuki is a wonderful person, or that his bullying and attitude was justified because it is NOT. I am merely giving Izuku's thoughts on it. But believe me I want SO BADLY for this JA's hateful and disgusting personality/ego to be beaten down several pegs. The character development he received thus far does not have me convinced that anything about him kittening changed (much at least) so I seriously look forward to the thrashing of the pride  Which is why I am not exactly thrilled about the outcome this chapter

Personally speaking, a demotion to the General Ed department for Bakugou would sound really good right now. That is if the writing remains consistent as it has.

I don't mean that... The original successor All-Might was apparently gonna pick before Izuku. That, and the return of Class-B and Shinsou.

It makes sense for him being persuaded to get a successor. Deku isn't chosen one by default (like birth of a prodigy, chosen because you hit jackpot), it's just natural decision. You hear that, Naruto. That would have been nice, wouldn't it.
