Maybe it'll be like RTN, which had lots of NH and SS advertising but ended up having lots of NS material.

I don't care about fanservice. What I care about is good development on both sides platonically and romantically. NaruSaku has more than enough of that. NH/SS don't have any of that, because they're completely onesided and underdeveloped. And they don't have nearly as much foreshadowing as NaruSaku does.

 

So don't let fanservice get to you guys. We're the ones who are winning after all  :wink:

Why do people NOT ship these two? I just don't get it.

Probably cause they hate Sakura. When she's probably the most developed female character in the whole show.

I respect Hinata, but Sakura deserves some too.

These days I've had many things to do, but what I read is that if you guys are having much contact with the other fandoms this is why I understand what you guys are all so in a negative emotional state  :sweat: .

stop being masochistic and stay away from what hurts you!  reminds me a little phenomenon after 615, although I think it is very quick, everyone should see what happens in the next chapter before taking a meaning to a scene, especially in the context of the plot and the story behind it, from what I see Kishimoto is closing subframes slowly and is somewhat suspicious that Kishimoto has not touched the narusaku but leaves clues for NS here and there while closing a subframe and other ...

The "Secret Lovers" thing still pisses me off. Even if it's mistranslation, why have the same "mistranslation" the past three games straight? :glare:

Hey, so is it possible to look up the list of theaters that the dub of RTN will be coming to? Most likely won't be anywhere even remotely close to where I live, but I'm curious anyway.

Wow, people are still trying to say that Sakura was going all the way for Sasuke's sake even though it was clearly shown throughout the chapter that her determination to save Sasuke was for the sake of helping Naruto.

"Each of us lives, dependent and bound by out individual knowledge, and our awareness. All of that is what we call reality. However, both knowledge and awareness are equivocal. One's reality might be another's illusion. We all live inside our own fantasies. Don't you think that's true?"

I was playing storm 3 and saw that too. Its so untrue, people read it and actually think they are secret lovers.  :ermm:

To be fair that was how they were portrayed much of the time in Part 1.

Yes, yes, I know. NaruHina is the pairing everyone's supposed to love a.k.a "fan-preferred couple". But the "Secret Lovers" thing is pushing things way too far to the point it defies the manga. At least with anime filler, they never really try to show Naruto showing more feelings towards Hinata than Sakura. They just tease things or strangely word things that can go either way.

 

Like, for example, this scene from one of the fillers. Naruto needed Hinata's Byakugan for something and he came up to Hinata and asked her in this way:

 

Naruto: "Hinata! You're the one I want!"

Hinata: *starts blushing and smiling* "Oh ... Naruto-kun ... this is so ... all so sudden ... I don't ... I don't know what to say."

Naruto: (looks at Hinata sadly) "I need you, Hinata."

*Hinata starts blushing again and can't say anything*

Naruto: "Nevermind, I'll ask Neji!"

*walks away, leaving Hinata disappointed*

 

That's basically NH moments in the manga and the anime. They're either worded ambiguously or misinterpreted by Hinata because of the wording. And all the NH focus in the recent games or fillers is just for marketing. Abusing a popularity of a ship even if it's not canon for money makes sense. I'm guessing that's the purpose of the NH in games and the whole Mecha-Naruto/Hinata/Naruto crap coming soon.

 

I understand why NH's popular, but it still annoys me just how popular it is. I could maybe share it if Hinata wasn't so self-involved with her affections, but she's not so I don't think she's right for Naruto. She is selfish about her feelings for him, even if it's not on purpose. But none of the NaruHina fans ever pay attention to that and say Hinata's better when Sakura's the more selfless one for Naruto out of the two. It's just stupid.
