Does it really matter why he did it ? Its not important if he was forced into it or bribed into it or whatever, The fact is Kishimoto ruined everything that he's worked so much for over the last FIFTEEN years.
People will not remember the excellent parts of his writing in the series, what they'll remember is the way everything was destroyed in the end. Kishimoto failed as a mangaka, as simple as that.
Naruto manga will forever be remembered as a 'what could've been' & 'what should've been' story.
Exactly, you could do a hundred good deeds and one kitten one, people will always remember the kitten one. If he was pushed or he sold out, it's his name that's associated wit the series, he will forever be credited for the creation of the ending, in a few years when people talk about Naruto they'll talk about Kishi, they won't talk about the crappy studio that made the movie, they'll talk about the creator, no matter who was the one responsible for the end, it will go down as Kishi's work, SP will be forgotten,
Kishi is the one who will have to live with the blame associated with the crappy ending, unless Kishi comes out and publically denounces the ending and promises to release the ending how he originally intended, (which is close to zero percent chance of happening) and even then he'll face the wrath of the Hinata fans, who will claim he buckled under the pressure and made a new ending to appease the angry mob and was forced to denounce the ending.
Either way he's screwed.
