Basically, that suitcase was supposed to be given to Sasaki. At least that's how I understood it.

One of the translators, added "Ha..i..se" to that one panel with the suitcase. Dunno if that is translated correctly.

yeah, I think that briefcase was to be given to Haise but at the time I had no idea a "Haise" even existed so I wrongly thought poor kaneki turned into a quinque

Ah that explains it. Ishida knows how to screw a person's mind. I saw many people thought that suitcase was Kaneki. It was that certain.

I did not expect Touka to lash out at Kaneki to this extent after not having seen him for six months (and for me 40 chapters). But then again, this is Touka, and if some people cannot deal with her behavior and call her a "b*tch", then they simply don't understand Touka.

If Touka had not acted the way she did and shouted out what she thought of him, their reunion would have less meaning in my eyes.

But thankfully, Ishida cares for extent detail, so not only they show the possibilities of where to begin, but the whole conversation felt realistic. This is how you handle the argument between a couple.

It's one of the reasons why I love Touka so much. She doesn't let others tell her what to do, and she doesn't hold back to express her opinion.

She made him realize that there is no need for him to play the tragic hero- especially when no one had asked him to do so. It pains me that Touka did not get to see Kaneki again afterwards...

So, are you going to recommend the series to other people. I've been trying to, but I feel like the gore factor is turning some people off.

Thanks trang, it took me about 45 minutes to do so on the drawing, and about 10 minutes on the coloring. So close to an hour to get it finished.

Tbh I wouldn't really consider myself perfect because some part of me believes I could've drawn it better. Although, It was still looked great by the time I finished drawing. All I can say about drawing is it does take practice and patience too, and that's something to get use to. Plus I was planning on drawing an image of Sasaki and Touka, but I decided to start easy considering it was my first time drawing Touka and Kaneki.

 

I would probably have to say the same thing as trang. To me it's important Touka because not only is it her character, but this shows just how much she really cares for Kaneki. So had Touka submitted to what Kaneki had to say then there would be less meaning behind the moment. At least that's the way I'm seeing it when it comes to Touka's character and how she is towards Kaneki.

When that time comes, it will be splendid. So far, Ishida acknowledged a lot of moments that has a lot of meanings in the long run so when that moment arrives, it's all hyped. I won't overhype it but the fact Ishida really put a lot into this scenario of "Kaneki will return" is already a good sign.

Now I can see why people was upset about Naruto even more...

I just thought she would be holding back and such alas out of character. But thankfully, we got more than that. Now, :re is a huge tease but that's getting closer.
