Except Kishimoto said that confession was real
Kishi said Sakura's feelings for Sasuke were shallow. Kishi, in the third data book, said Sakura used to have a crush on Sasuke. In all four data books, Kishi said Naruto was in love with Sakura. Does it really make any difference what this man says? Hell, it was supposed to be "Kakashi's year" on two separate years, but none of that ever came to fruition. All those innocent blushes from Sakura, Yamato's observation, Sai's observation, in the end, none of that meant anything.
but then again what is Kishimoto's word worth now anyway?
Same thing my property law professor claims a simple promise is worth legally: A warm bucket of spit.
Sasuke said he sees no reason why he should love Sakura and yet, they are married and have a kid.
Yeah, if there's one thing we should take away from this, it's that the canon doesn't matter. Just because Kishi writes something today, it doesn't mean it'll hold true tomorrow.
So I am tired of people bringing up Sakura's confession to Naruto and calling it fakee.
It's fake because it's been retconned as fake. Don't worry. So has much of the manga. Remember this:

Me neither!
For the love of God, stop acting like Sakura is the only person in this story who was the villain when every single character is seen as both selfish, jealous, envious, and only did things out of rivalry apparently and noone truly loves anyone.
What are you talking about? I attacked both Naruto and Sakura in that post.
So please...just stop bringing this one up....people need to stop saying "Sakura's confession to Naruto was fake and thuse she is a bad person," because if that is all it takes to make someone a bad person then Naruto is the biggest scumbag on the planet in the entire series who brotherly love for Sasuke is fake and his love for Sakura was fake too.
Hey man, I'm not going disregard the end-resulting portrayal of the characters. Regardless of what Sakura was or had the potential to be (something I understand better than almost anyone else) or what I wanted her to be, that's not how she turned out. Instead, what we have is a mindless fangirl with no self-respect and . . . on top of other things, a liar and a doormat now. She's gutter trash. Now can similar observations be made about other characters? Of course. In that post, I said as much about Naruto. He's exactly as Sakura described him in chapter 3. Didn't understand a thing about Sakura and took joy in getting between her and Sasuke all for the sake of his "rivalry" with the boy he's constantly 'hurting for.' Naruto, or as I prefer to call him, Short haired jackass is every bit the piece of trash Sakura is now, maybe even worse, when we consider the implications of his actions now that we know he was never acting out of true love. No no, it was all for the sake of his rivalry. What a scumbag!
