Naruto is not the first one to make friend vs friend fight, Eventhought it become more iconic for current generation of manga readers. So they always synonym anything with friend vs friend with naruto.

I think bakugo reasoning is more solid and I don't think bakugo will take over the importance of story from Deku to him.

What happens next is what his development means? What about attacking Deku? What does that say about his development? What about his unfounded jealousy of someone he tormented for years on end as a child?

Whether there's room for a level of respect or if things will remain the way they are. Even the biggest of kitten can be swayed by certain circumstances

It's more fleshed out than your average Sasuke, which so far, I'm liking it. The path can still lead to it so I am betting my money on the volumes for Deku to lead this path to healthy rivalry. Please, Deku. You're my only hope!

Bakugo does have depth after all. I never guessed he felt guilty about causing All-Might's retirement. Hopefully he is turned around after this fight and this becomes a healthy rivalry instead of a Sasuke situation.

I'm more curious about how epic this fight will be. That is if Aizawa doesn't stop them too quickly.

It will make me buy the volumes if avoid Sasuke bs.

What author trying to push in here? Can't Midoria see that Kacchan never saw his as a friend? This drama is seems to be forced from Midoria side, Bakugou on other hand showed depth in his character, rare side.

I think it's handled better than I expected. It didn't shove the friendship being so great, rather share the same ideology yet one feels like he is the problem. That's why I was happier here than the last chapter. Naruto vs. Sasuke was purely based on friendship, and I did accept it, but oh boy, after that, downhill never look so steep.

Of course there was going to be a second season. They got the dub out incredibly quick from what I'm normally see. They were hoping this will replace Naruto as their international seller along with one punch man and dragonball super.
