maybe it wasn't about nh, maybe it's because naruto is very popular in the US. hollywood loves to put out those cliche romance movies, so maybe kishi wanted to do the same. look at what hollywood did to dragon ball lol.

Exactly, Kishi is a male so thats the way he portrays women.The fact is that from a woman's perspective Hinata is the girl who does nothing but waits patiently and hopes. For her to get Naruto is the fulfillment of what OTHER woman want. For life to just happen for them and love to be AWARDED to them for being complacent and patient enough to wait for the person they like to finally notice them.
For men, Hinata is the woman who will not give them a hard time, who will cater to their whims and desires. She won't rock the boat, she wont ask stupid annoying questions or get mad for something a man perceives as silly. She's all the perks with none of the fuss.

Thats what I dont get...does Naruhina really bring him more profit? even if it does, is it really worth to kitten on your manga for the sake of NH just for a bit more of money? like really? not to mention it might have the opposite effect of what you wanted kishi, you just dont disregard everything you wrote for a lowly side character. unacceptable
