Something funny literally just happened to me: I was playing Storm 4 - I still enjoy the games despite it all - and my 4 year old sister comes in wanting to play too. I put it to 2 player and I pick my character. My sister starts scrolling, lands on Sakura. "I like her."

Goes to Ino,"Maybe."

Gets to Hinata, "Oh, she's creepy!"
 

Probably the eyes. Hyuugas look kinda soulless without pupils.

 

(Well, actually Ino doesn't have pupils either so.. XD)

Probably is the eyes. She liked Sakura's battle ready pose. She even mimicked her after she "won" our fight.

When the Haruno parents were introduced, the first thing I thought was they'd be the perfect in-laws. They fit in so well with the warm and easy-going attitude NS have around eachother. Naruto and Kizashi would make dad jokes and Sakura and her mom would roll their eyes but then they can't help but smile.

 

I can't picture Naruto having a conversation with Hinata's dad. The guy who has no sense of formality and calls the head of his village grumpy old man/hag. Hiashi react with the usual grumpy hyuuga face  to everything Naruto says.

All I imagine are awkward, tense silences and/or Naruto saying something stupid as his usual self that results in pissing Hiashi off somehow.

At best he has grudging respect for Naruto for how he helped Neji when he was alive, and at least knows his daughter (who he disinherited) found a good man. Though he'd never says it to Naruto's face which makes the relationship between Naruto and Hinata even more awkward because Naruto cannot connect to her family in any way, and still feels guilty about not fulfilling his promise to Neji. Hinata...probably doesn't care.

Actually in battle (action) manga power does matter. Because a powerful characters will have more chance to fight therefor more presence in media than less powerful character.

And yes, even if sakura become powerful the hate will not gone but it will even out.
The example is tatsumaki.

I agree that Hinata is a waif.. I mean heroine material, but I disagree that Hinata is a good battle manga heroine material. There's a reason on why salad is sakura uchiha. That because a character like sakura despite is better heroine material than Hinata because she's more "active".


If it asspull, people will rage against her but if it's not than the battle fan would like her. And no sakura would never be on par with naruto and therefor sasuke.

Poal is NS moment, it doesn't become sns moment despite the land of iron arc. It just never mention anymore because it's a strong NS moment.

Oh God, you said Scrappy-Doo! (Note: I didn't even know that Scrappy was very unpopular in the Scooby-Doo franchise, even when I was a fan since watching the series when I was little. He was ok on certain series and movies like the Boo Brothers. I honestly always thought the reason why the franchise was declined at the time because they kept ignoring Daphne, Fred and Velma because they weren't "hip" enough, especially for the latter 2).

As I mentioned before, there will still be people who claims Naruto/Boruto is very popular, as much as people who claims it's no longer as popular. Welcome to the Internet.

By all means, all of us here who belongs to the second category aren't trying to exaggerate things. Facts speak louder than any baseless opinion.

From the way SP has redirected all their best resources to work on Boruto, it seems to be a rescue mission, above anything else: to put this series numbers back to the same situation as before the catastrophic ending. But that's just me speculating. So, take it with a grain of salt.

However, When you connect the dots, like falling ratings, the author advertised it aggressively, the series hardly featured as the cover page, etc; you'll see certain patterns emerge. And the numbers that are surfacing along the way, just strengthen your speculation.

Never have I said that naruto is very popular in japan.

I said naruto is popular. Popular enough to keep the anime continue, popular enough to have 1 million manga sales, popular enough to have movie almost every years.

That's my answer to the people that answer why the series doesn't dead, because while NS fan hate it doesn't mean the rest of japan fan hate to the point of drop it. And yes this just my speculation and I just conect the dot just like you.
