I wish I knew that I just feel so down man, very very down right now. To me I fear Sakura will never mean that much to him than Sasuke does and sadly if he does marry Sakura he will be Sasuke before her and before their kids. I mean in real life and in other fiction even the people put their family first,

I know how you feel. Trust me, I do and I agree that this entire story could have been handled much better, but to me this does not change the end result. Naruto needs to let go of Sasuke and understand that Sasuke needs to figure life on his own. This fight is not just a lesson for Sasuke, but a lesson for Naruto as well. Naruto needs to understand that not everything is going to go his way and there are things far beyond Sasuke that he cannot control.

This doesn't mean Naruto shouldn't fight. It just means that even Naruto needs to better understand the people he deals with. Remember, the entire concept is that people have to understand each other. Naruto doesn't understand Sasuke yet because they haven't really clashed all that often. Not really.

This, plus...what the hell are people thinking? This is true love to them? I'm sorry, but I would love for them to act the same way to the ones they are shy or apparently in love with and see what others think. What next, they want Hinata to beat the kitten out of Naruto and castrate him to show how much she cares?

With his chakra modes, yes, but he traveled all the way to the VotE in base. Base Naruto isn't exactly recognised for his speed. What feats does he have? Keeping pace with God Realm in taijutsu and intercepting a weary, half-blinded Sasuke while in midswing is all that comes to mind. Those are far-cries from equaling what Minato's Flying Thunder God speed (which is instantaneous) and his Shunshin have accomplished - even Base Minato is debatable. 

 

It's no surprise that Sasuke's power up would come packaged with a technique that emphasises precision through quickness. Speed is one of the few traits of Sasuke's that's remained consistent since overcoming Haku with it (no mirrors obviously).

So in kishi's eyes, only sasuke being good can naruto and sakura love each other? This is going to happen in one day (manga) and she couldn't get over him over all these years?

Kishi is a coward. He has to wait until the very end of the manga to have sakura to not love sasuke in one day.

I can't believe this is over before the movie. What rush job.

I am so disappointed.

It's all for the suspense, but look how it's turned out because of the suspense building. Sakura has loved Sasuke for almost the entirety of the series and Naruto can only have her love only when the series is over. What makes it worse is that she had little reason to love Sasuke for this long. 

 

Sakura must have padded up her love with lots of armor because it's unbelievable that her love endured for this long.

NS will be canon no doubt, but I can't see it being as well written as I once thought it would be.  Fans will be forced to think of complicated explanations and hope Kishimoto meant it that way. Anything to make the execution of NS seem satisfactory.

how do you know he didn't turn into chakra mode, was the entire journey shown? no it wasn't, therefore he could've, either way this is a shonen, of course it isn't gonna make sense.

excuse me??!!! i was trying to get you to read the comments because i thought they may lift up your spirits! forget it, i'm done with this forum for a while, since all you guys want to do is be negative and hateful!!! james is pretty much the only exception i've seen right now so i'll talk to him if he sends me any messages or anyone that sends me positive messages but other than that i'm done here. if i missed anyone positive keep in mind the replies are pretty fast and there is so many pages of a lot of comments to go through xD i mean its already 123 pages

I don't think it was an act of mercy. There is a lot of violence in it. But I think Sasuke has conflicted feelings deep inside. And I think he didn't want ther to burst in the middle of their fight and risking her life.

Is there anything to prove that he did? Why would he waste valuable chakra traveling to his destination when it's likely that he'll need every bit of energy he can muster in his upcoming fight with Sasuke? Still, this could all be written off as a tool of convenience for Kishi to progress the story as quickly as possible. There's really no explanation to justify Base Naruto reaching the VotE at exactly the same time as Sasuke with his Sharinnegan activated, unless they purposefully knew to hinder themselves to keep at a similar pace with each other.

 

Why they would leave the area where the Shinju has the Alliance captured is another mystery. The world's population is being slowly transformed into grotesque Zetsu clones, so they can't afford to take too long in fighting each other. They might be quick enough to return before the transformation is finished, but if they're weakened and exhausted from fighting each other that complicates matters, unless Sakura turns up to heal them.

This thread is here for us to talk about the chapter, so we have the right to talk, even if this is about things we didn't like, or didn't understand.
I'm of the people the more understanding toward Kishimoto and his work, I'm always prompt to defend him, so saying to me that I'm negative was wrong and rude. You don't know me you're kind of new here. So I would suggest you to learn to know people before giving rude advice to them. Just stay at your place please.

Do we know for sure how far VoTE is from the Shinju and everything else that happened? It mightve been a five, ten minute ninja dash for all we know.

I may agree with the last part of your post but the thing about "conflicted feelings deep inside" is pretty almost a quack theory, you know? Because no matter how huch are his deeper feelings are conflited, that was like a simulated homicide, with the most painful modus operandi he could use, killing her with right a pierce into her heart.

 

That's the most cruel blow that she could ever take in her life.

Not if this war is still taking place in the Land of Lightning. That's three countries worth of distance between the Shinju's base and the VotE. Logically, it should still take several hours to reach the valley from the Rain country. VotE is situated on the border between the Fire country and Otogakure. Traveling from Konoha to Sunagakure required a three day trip during the Kazekage Rescue arc (that was at top speed as well), even a fraction of that time equals more time than what it apparently took for Naruto and Sasuke to reach their destination. It can be written off as part of Kishi's suspension of disbelief though.
