I fixed it.
I've tried. I really did... but I can't take that costume serious. Is this just to piss off comicbook nerds all over the world, so they'll watch the pilot?

I'm not 100% sure but I don't think Sinestro is the film's villain. I think Hector Hammond is.

In reference to the Green Lantern movie, I don't know. I wasn't really feeling Ryan Reynolds for the roll, I think he really nailed it with Deadpool and would have loved to see him reprise the roll. But getting back to GL, I think the excess amount of CG in the film bothers me greatly. I mean seriously did they need to CG the suit onto him as well?

Given the source material, I think too much CG is impossible. There are aliens all kinds, a ring that does pretty much anything you want it to, a whole new world...I don't see how many practical effects you can put into a film like this and have it look convincing. As for the suit, I guess it was to make Hal look more consistent with the other green lanterns (since they're pure CG, they figured the one human should have a CGI suit as well).
Granted, I'm no comics expert by any means, but I know enough about GL to say that a large amount of CG is the way to go unless they want to make everything look like puppets.

"Green Lantern has received generally negative reviews from film critics. The film has a 27% approval rating on the review-aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes, based on 45 reviews with an average rating of 4.7/10.[73]
Karina Longworth of the Village Voice gave Green Lantern a negative review stating, "Martin Campbell's ADD style privileges spectacle over story -- so much so that the film never rewards the viewer for even trying to keep track of what is going on".[74] Justin Chang of Variety said, "Martin Campbell's visually lavish sci-fi adventure is a highly unstable alloy of the serious, the goofy and the downright derivative."[75]
Rex Reed of the New York Observer added to the negative reviews by stating, "Even in the brainless world of cinematic comic books gone bad, it's as bad as it gets -- a dumb, pointless, ugly, moronic and incomprehensible jumble of botched effects, technical blunders, and cluttered chaos." [76] Christy Lemire of the Associated Press called Green Lantern, "A joyless amalgamation of expository dialogue and special effects that aren't especially special."[77] Roger Moore of the Orlando Sentinel said, "Green Lantern" isn't "Jonah Hex" bad. But it's silly enough to be part of the same "silliest Warner Brothers comic book summer movies of all time" conversation".[78]
Conversely Todd McCarthy of The Hollywood Reporter gave it a positive review stating, "[Green Lantern] Serves up all the requisite elements with enough self-deprecating humor to suggest it doesn't take itself too seriously".[79] Stephen Whitty of the Newark Star-Ledger said, "When it comes to the big questions, director Martin Campbell -- who knows about fresh starts, having twice revived the 007 series, first with "Goldeneye" and then with the recent "Casino Royale" -- seems to have most of the answers"."
Well, I will need to watch it to know for sure
