Azula came up to them and he was like, "can't you see I'm busy?" that really had me staring. i didn't think he'd let Mai in at all, you know? really confuzzling )=

XDDDDD hahahahha that's awesome still. i know a few people who just GIVE UP before even considering it. at least ya tried it. XDD me myself played piano (still do but not as much anymore) -- i was forced as a kid and it sucked. i had an attention span of a chopstick. so i really didn't like having to sit there and repeat things. but eh, i guess i'm thankful-- i could play by ear really well a few years ago, but eh i just play things that are easier and have repeating stanzas :/

ah, mandarin! i don't understand a word of mandarin except for hullo and stuff. we had a term at school where we had to learn it. i was better than most of the people in the class but blah, i hated learning mandarin. you should see it now. my friends take Chinese as an elective subject and the class average is 97%. get lower than that; fail. really competitive because the whole class is made of natural chinese speakers. immah learn french!

OMG, that's exactly the order i do it in. once, i got distracted by this shiny light outside the window. you know how toilet windows are all blurry and distorted because it's a bathroom and people aren't supposed to look inside? so yeah, this light i was staring at looking like a spotlight and i was like, "hokitten, they're filming outside my toilet?!" and, like, if you can poke your head through the netting of the window, you stare straight into the garbage tip (yeah, enticing, i know), so then iw as like, "damn, they're filming in the RUBBISH BIN?!"

and i opened the window and the light turned out to be a streetlight. XD;

hmm, i don't use a clip. i just jump into the shower, do whatever i do in an hour, then jump out again and dress before mum storms inside to use the loo (and boy, she just barges in sometimes, so embarrassing! - and we have two toilets, too! she HAS to choose the smaller, OCCUPIED one).

Haha I forget that you're cantonese and not mandarin. But yea, speaking cantonese is awesomesauce and stuff, but cantonese grammar is very different from mandarin grammar. Actually cantonese writings is still slightly different from how you would even speak it!

P.S. ever want to learn mandarin? Grammar... completely different from cantonese. But at least every word you say matches up to the written words than compared to cantonese. It's like hey! Where'd that word I just say go? Or why's that extra word there! Eh... you get the drift xD

Tell you what, H&E actually makes me feel more human when I write my stories because I'm interacting with so many people. I take personalities and mash them together into the characters and pray that something will work out

But I'm really proud of myself; no lessons or anyone teaching me and I can actually understand what they're saying even if you give me subs and no sound.

Except I can't read newspapers because it's not quite conversational... and I can't read much of simplified Chinese because the subs are in traditional characters

Eh yea... Mandarin is more formal and polite compared to cantonese and it works exactly as you say it. I for the life of me cannot understand why cantonese you can say something but when it's written out it's totally different by having more or less words. It drives me crazy at times! But at least I can understand the language so I can just forget the subs! Hehe... Though if it's no sound, it might take me longer to distinguish since like I said... I need brushing up to do XD I'm guessing you watch channels like TVB or ATV and such since Hong Kong uses traditional characters. I learned simplified first so it takes a while for me to adjust DX

There's loads of canto words I don't know and won't understand. I basically only know conversational stuff. Even if I listen to chinese songs and they're in canto, I have no idea what they're saying. But that said, I have more mandarin songs than I do cantonese.

But I say that it's hard to learn to write chinese because of the characters, yet it's alright speaking and reading after you get used to it. I don't mind the differences as much because I do french. Hell, you should see friend. All these pronouns and blah blah and feminine and masculine and possessive whatevers. Je t'aime means 'I love you' and translates directly into 'I you love.' I still do get mixed up with chinese, though. If ya put a different little mini character thingy in front or somewhere in another word it makes a whole new word!

Ooh, another chinese incident I just remembered: I went out to buy some batteries for my wireless mouse; crossed the road to the convenience store. The guy that works there is chinese, I think, and he was smiling and he said this.... word. I don't know what it was. He said it and then said, "Nihao," so I was like, Aha! I know what that means! And i just said hello in english. But then after he scanned the batteries and gave me my change, he said the word (I think it's two words, actually) and he was smiling at me again and I was like, "erm, pardon?" Then he handed me the change and I said thank you and got out of there.

Yesterday, my mum took me shopping and we finally picked up that tablet she was supposed to get me on Christmas Day. Bit late, but I love it already! It's a Wacom Bamboo Fun, and it's small, like, 6x4 inches. At first, I was worried that it was too small but then the medium size ones were much bigger and more expensive, and I thought, well, I'm just playing around with it to begin with, don't have to waste money on something I can't eat.

So yesh, I gotz my tablet. Small actually isn't all that bad. I wouldn't mind, say, an extra two inches but it's all good. *hugglez her tablet*

I coloured something - start last night and finished today. It's my first time colouring and stuff (never bothered to try with the mouse). Finally, I've got something on my dA account. It's a Neji pic - lineart was done by another artist on dA - and it didn't quite turn out a complete failure... I think. Yeah, we'll it's my first try! Here we go!

Well... the place I told you was not a... supermarket per se... but an internet cafe. I got a friend that works there and I know the owner quite well. I can bet that you didn't check eBay before buying. coz the internet cafe got the item listed on eBay store. If I remember correctly they sold 2 type, the small oe and the medium one. the medium one is around 16 inch I think and its about 300+

yeah, the mai and zuko thing is really OOC. i dun get it. but then, even if there was character development and stuff, i can't see Mai being with Zuko. or Ty-Lee. you know, all zutara aside, i think Katara would be the most likely candidate for Zuko. but then there's all that kataang action and that sorta screws it. a really plausible plotline would be Zuko goes with the gang and Katara develops feeling for him but she sorta likes Aang as well. and because they've been travelling together for so long and been through that much, she's gonna choose Aang. the creators won't let her choose Zuko, i dun think. but that would be one cool storyline, yep.

I'm halfway through my holidays and still haven't started on my schoolwork. I'm a very active procrastinator. I've been doing everything but schoolwork. Mum's been bugging me to find a tutor and I've been ignoring that for a bit too. The only real thing I'm looking forward to is Peer Support so I can play around with the Year 7s

Mm, went laser tagging a few days back. I sucked at it and it made me all sweaty. Also went swimming with my friends before that and we were in the pool for a full seven hours. There was this floaty thing in the Olympic pool. It was like an obstacle course on water. If you slipped you had to get out of the pool and line up and start again. There was this slide down the end and if you reached it you basically finished the course. There were big fat knobs and stuff and people hosing water at you. Really hard.

So.... I took four tries.

First try I got past the first knob then was clinging on for dear life on a slippery tube when I slipped.

Second try I was basically humping the second knob and then fell anyway. :rolleyes:

Third time - so like, there's this rope ladder at the end that you have to climb to get up to the slide, right? My friend was on the other side of the float at the same stage and he told me to jump. I was like, "WTF, NO!" But... I jumped anyway. I jumped for the last rung on the ladder because I thought it'd be the easiest to grab onto. MISTAKE. I grabbed it alright. But there was a pit in front of the ladder, so if you missed you sunk into the water and got outed. I got stuck in the pit because I was holding onto the ladder and couldn't reach the second rung. After a minute of struggling and getting loled at I just gave up and lined up AGAIN. Friends wouldn't let me live it down.

Fourth try I GOT TO THE END.... almost. I was on the slide, right? And just when I was preparing myself for an epic victory jump, this guy LEAPS for the ladder and tsunami's the whole float and I get TOSSED down the slide. I consider myself to have made it

So yeah... next time if the float's there I'm pwning that thing!

Mm.... and got not much else to report - just wanted to record this swimming moment so I could come back someday and lol at my own disgrace. Aaaaaand brekkie time! omnomnom!

I think it was the Bato episode, yeah. there were a few more where i thought Aang was being really selfish but most of it was the Bato episode. at least he redeemed himself that time. ooh, i think it remember! that bit after Appa got bison-napped. IT'S so ARGH. no tension, Aang always comes up smelling like roses and crapping rainbows like he always does e_e;

yeah, the mai and zuko thing is really OOC. i dun get it. but then, even if there was character development and stuff, i can't see Mai being with Zuko. or Ty-Lee. you know, all zutara aside, i think Katara would be the most likely candidate for Zuko. but then there's all that kataang action and that sorta screws it. a really plausible plotline would be Zuko goes with the gang and Katara develops feeling for him but she sorta likes Aang as well. and because they've been travelling together for so long and been through that much, she's gonna choose Aang. the creators won't let her choose Zuko, i dun think. but that would be one cool storyline, yep.
