Sigh... "We Are" is sadly beginnning to seem another instance for wasted potential. I barely am able to recognize the characters right now, some things he makes up are downright absurd (Ayame an ANBU and Itachi's ex-teammate? give me a break), the character-bashing is getting out of hand (yes, I know, you don't like Sasuke. We have ALREADY got it)...

Anyway, I'll stop now. I'm tired after posting so many updates. I hope you like them.

OK I'm not 100% certain this fic is NaruSaku, but does appear to be heading in that direction, at the very worst it's definitely a Naruto/Sakura strong Friendship fic.

Son of the Sannin by crimsonstain it's currently at Chapter Eight, basically, starts off at VoTE, due to some mix up at birth turns out Naruto was really Jiraiya and Tsunade son, and their son who was declared dead at birth was really the Fourth's and Kushina's. (So sad to see an entire family die on the same day.) So basically about them finding out the truth and how things change for Naruto because of it.

Also Paradox Jast has updated Hindsight Foresight with Chapter Five Interesting chapter in many ways, beware does give away some spoilers for Whirlpool Country in this chapter. It was good to see even the greatest hokage to date can mess up his calculations slightly and overhit the mark.

Stupidest case of plagarism ever, not only was it a copy and paste job, it was also published on the same day as HSSS was updated, making it obvious to even a untrained monkey that it wasn't the original author republishing his story due to forgetting his login details.

Yeah there are much better fics out there if you wanna plagarise...like Whirlpool country

The author definitely has some great idea's but uses the same plot sequences in nearly all his fics, one Sasuke being anal, spoilt brat who can't accept Naruto being better than him in anything and going all bent out of shape, and Kakashi either being uncaring or a plain idiot who ends up messing things up for Naruto no matter how hard he tries. Even I'm getting bored with the Sasuke/Kakashi bashing, it was amusing to read for a little while but it's just an overused plot device now and show lack of creativity. not much better than the Naruto/Hinata fics where Sakura is a grade A B**ch and Naruto seeks comfort in the shy yet completely out of charactor Hinata.

Indeed, that level of idiocy or shamelessness sends the mind reeling. Same title, same fic, different author. And it gets posted the same day He Said, She Said is updated. You could see the "new" fic in the same page.

Yes, that's very, very tiresome.

For example, in the last We Are chapter you have Sakura begging -again- Naruto trusting her and giving her one chance. And according the narration, Naruto thought "Are you joking?".

Gee, that's right what I thought. If Sakura hit on pre-genin Naruto he'd reciprocate his advances in one second. Maybe he'd be somewhat suspicious if she apparently changed overnight, but he wouldn't be reluctant to forgive her and he wouldn't obsessively think that was a plot for gaining the attention of "the Uchiha". Naruto never resented Sakura for anything and Sasuke was not only his rival but also his brother. Oh, and he never thought of Sasuke like "the Uchiha".

Gee, and Sakura spent a long time in the library because she was very intelligent, not for impressing Sasuke.

And why the hell all civilian and shinobi in Konoha suddenly mocks and despises Sasuke? I THOUGHT he was admired and Naruto was jealous cause that admiration.

Having Naruto hating or despising Sakura, Sasuke and Kakashi is a prime example of awful characterization, driven by whatever gripes or agendas the writer wants fulfilling (like getting Naruto and Hinata together). You can dislike those characters to your heart's content, but Naruto will NEVER do. So DON?T write him doing it.

Naruto did never hate Sakura or Sasuke for anything. She is the girl he loves becasue she's right like him. He's his brother, the first person acknowledged his existance. Hinata never filled either of those roles. Get over it.

Now, using manga's storyline, you can create a situation where Naruto is furious at Sasuke. But hating him? I doubt Naruto can hate Sasuke.

On the other hand, Sakura hasn't betrayed Naruto, hasn't left him, has sticked up for him, has helped him, has protected him and has saved his life and even has flirted with him briefly. You can create a situation where Naruto is furious with Sasuke and wants beating him. But Sakura? If he doesn't hate Sasuke despite all what Sasuke has done to him, he'd never hate Sakura given all what she's done for him.

It's because that so many anti-Sakura writers resort to cheap drama to destroy her and Naruto's relationship, like she betraying Naruto for Sasuke, she hating Naruto for breaking his promise or hurting Sasuke for retrieving him (Yup, that was what she did in the manga), or Naruto moping because she chose Sasuke over him (Did you see him moping in the manga?).

They treat her like a brainless fangirl, but they're WAY more obsessed with Sasuke than her.

By the way, I know it sounds slightly off-topic, but... Would someone care explain to me why so much fics -like We Are- depict Ayame like Naruto's older sister who always cared for him and looked after him? It sounds to just so believable to me like the claim of Hinata has always been nice and good to Naruto despite they have barely talked. I don't know how many times she shows up in the anime because I've barely watched some chapters, but I don't remember her even showing up in the manga. Therefore, I don't see her like an important character for Naruto or for the plot.

Sigh. So that the anime -specially the fillers- gave a somewhat bigger exposure to a secondary female character and the fandom blew her interactions with Naruto out of proportion? I suspected that much.

I'm not bashing the character, but Ive seen so many fics turned her into a very important person/influence to Naruto... and I didn't understand where they got that from. My memory is far from perfect, but I only remember her name mentioned one single time in the manga, and it was in the context of Kakashi wondering where the waitress had gone (since she WASN't in the ramen stand, hence she DIDN'T show up in the chapter). And when Naruto remembers his precious people, the ones acknowedlged his existence, neither Teuchi nor Ayame showed up in his thoughts.

In fact, if it wasn't for internet forums, I wouldn't even know their names.
