Just get out.
That was disgusting. I wish I hadn't watched that game. That (OT) was definately the low-point of an otherwise incredible playoffs.

Can't imagine how Dan Boyle can show his face next game after this.

I think the Avs were in a sour funk after that OT loss, to be honest, despite a strong 1st period. Hopefully this fluky win gives us a jump start to shoot (wait for it) OVER 20 times in a game. Also the injury bug has us bad...Hejduk out, Porter out, his replacement, Stoa, is out, Mueller (the guy who I think will get our team back on track) still is out, David Jones, another difference maker, out...
Craig Anderson was amazing tonight. I think that sets a record for most saves in a postseason shutout, but I'm not sure.
EDIT: In 94 Dominik Hasek had 70 saves in a multi OT shutout, so nevermind.

Sedins made some magic happen to tie the series up for the Canucks!

This playoff hockey has been amazing for the first round. Only wish I had Versus so I could watch it on my TV instead of laptop.

Yep, we'll see. I don't use last nights game as an indicator, we pretty much won the series after game 4, the devils were just finished.

Howard looked shaky for Detroit in the first 3 games, but these past 2 games have really made me start believing in him. He's been absolutely solid. I honestly think that Phoenix has been out-playing Detroit (by a little), but they have a few small lapses of concentration that the Wings take advantage of which just leads to a collapse.
These playoffs have been great.

Most exciting first round in recent memory? I think so.

Of course, this IS the NHL, so consistency isn't always expected out of them.
And then as if to prove that God really does hate Nashville, they can't convert the power play and promptly give up the GW goal to Hossa who just came out of the box.
"Thank you for the kick to the nuts, sir! May I have another?"
Here's to hoping the 'Nucks keep their foot on the pedal and take out the Kings tonight!

But who knows.
Speaking of Washington, Mike Green is so bad. I still find it stupid that he's one of the nominees for the Norris.

Also, rematch time between the Canucks and Blackhawks. This is gonna be good.
Not that I hope he needs to do it again, but LUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!

The problem with Washington right now is that they're unable to win tight, low scoring affairs, which is what almost all playoff games are. You need to be able to play any style of hockey in the playoffs and be successful, and the Caps can't do that. If they aren't pouring it on like in pond-hockey, they're losing.
That and Mike Green is making Paul Coffey look like a defensive stalwart.

PP 1 for 32? That's just one team getting outcoached by the other team.
Detroit over San Jose in 6
Vancouver over Chicago in 7
Pittsburgh over Montreal in 5
Boston over Philadephia in 6
Posted this with time left in the 3rd. Hope Capitals can prove me wrong, but after the Canadiens scored the 1st goal it was pretty much over.
EDIT after Montreal makes it 2-0: LOLMIKEGREEN
