I never read the graphic novel by Mark Millar so I have no idea how faithful this is to it, however I had a hell of a good time watching this film. The action is over the top sure but its entertaining, and hey who doesn't love Angelina Jolie (Especially when she's nude :teehee:)? If you're in the mood for some brainless fun this movie will kick your ass from one side of the theater to the other.

I haven't watched this in awhile. I enjoyed it this time as much as i always have. I understand peoples gripes about this film. "It's all flash and no depth" which is a great means of critiquing for all film, but for me it completes the video game. When I first finished playing the game it was frustrating how open ended ad cheated I felt. I think this movie is a nice end to the game, which is what I think it is, the ending, tying up lose ends. As far as character depth goes, I think there was some there, albeit that it all stems mostly from the game. To compare the character and story depth in the film to the game is completely unfair. A game's story, plot, and characters are easier developed in a game that can span from 4-7 days, not to mention the player's personal stock in them from simply being a part of it. Remember this movie was originally 20'ish minutes long. Anywhoo. Beautiful and Fun.

Let's just say they mutilated the orignal version beyond recgnition, mindless action is ok, but when you use the base of a great grephic novel for it, it's just evil.
5/10

Not a bad crime movie, starring Ja Rule and Ving Rhymes. It gives a lesson between vengence, trust and betrayal.

A movie in which any family could enjoy. Something I decided to watch to see if it could possibly distract me from the monsoon season. The little actress in the movie, wonderful. She's making alot more as the years continue to go by. If I'm certain, I think she's starring in that new American Girl movie as Kit. (Though I'm still waiting for an Addy movie to come out -__-)

No matter how dark it is, you’re not alone you know?

THE BOOK WAS BETTER!!!
I'm giving it a 7 for making me laugh and actually be creative with the changes they made. I'm surprised usually I hate Anne Hathaway movies. Of course they did have Cary Elwes WHOM ABSOLUTELY ADORE. Prince Char was quite handsome too. :teehee:

Liked the performances by Ed Norton and Liv Tyler. But, the action didn't wow me and the script felt lacking in impact and originality. (Maybe I'm just not that much of a Hulk fan)
Get Smart - 7/10
Very very predictable, but amusing, and I recognized a lot of the actors in it.

One of the worst movies ever made. Both Woody Allen and the late Peter Sellers should be ashamed for being in this.
Casino Royale (2006)-10/10
4 years after the disasterous "Die Another Day" the James Bond franchise gets a reboot with Guy Ritchie movie veteran Daniel Craig. And the resulting film is the best James Bond movie since Goldeneye, which was ironically directed by the same guy who directed this.

One of the more faithfully adpted marvel movies out there, and I believe that when the sequel will come out, it will even be more appreciated.

..... I really wish Liv didn't think this was the greatest movie ever....... dismal..... gut wrenchingly cheesie..... if it wasn't for me finding Michelle Pffeifer attractive this movie would get a zero. The songs are cornball, second-rate. The acting is sloppy-droppertm. The protagonist is an emo ...... The unwanted left over parts left out of the finished product which was part 1 and it's broadway predecessor.

Unlike the successful Street Fighter II Movie, not all the characters are in (where's M.Bison, Sagat, hell WHERE'S Charlie and Cammy?!) and we have some original characters (Ryu has a "little brother" and Shadaloo is backed up by a professor named Sadler...) Basically, plot is not as good as II, but the advantages are the artwork and the fight scenes (though the last fight scene act like DBZ), though I'm surprised that Chun-Li has more fight scenes than II.
Disadvatages: mentioned characters above not present, Chun-Li's Alpha outfit colors and some design of it are wrong (they are blue and yellow, not red, green, white and yellow). And Akuma supposed to be centered but it was canned... Sakura and also Rose didn't have that much development as well. And characters faced off against an android... gah DBZ much...

The first half of the movie is great, the second half is cliched crapola.
I guss the first part is the hilarious Will smith comady and 2th part is the lousy superhero cliche?
