There really is no redemption for Sasuke because there is nothing to redeem him from. It's more like salvation or at least that is how Naruto sees it. Obito's was a redemption. You could have a NS scene and have Sasuke be moved by it. "That would be too easy." You;d probably say and I would retort: "Sasuke has basically flipped emotions and goals several times at the drop of a hat. Why would this be any different?"

Again, there are 2 chapters left and the last chapter will most likely be just everyone waking up and finally peace and everyone happy and prasing naruto. Thats most likely everything that will have enough space to fit in the last chapter. So with this count there is 1 chapter for a OVA moments and sakura just woke up this chapter and is still far away from the valley of death. So how is she supposed to get their in one chapter and also have the ova moment in the same chapter and also still have a talk between naruto and sasuek about what they are goignt to do after the fight. Sasuke wont just go away like the first time i guess since this is the end of the manga. There needs to be some kind of resolve.

Looks like Naruto is in a tight spot here. But he'll most likely win the fight. Sasuke did have to borrow Chakra from Naruto to get an edge, so that further proves his weakness and lack of faith in his own abilities.

Sakura sure is awake right now. It could either be because she has to get a resolution OR it is to save Naruto.

But as others pointed out....it is really difficult for Sakura and Kakashi to get to Naruto and Sasuke in time to save Naruto especially when Sasuke is at point blank range.

So I reckon that Naruto does save himself some way or the other

Lol mentioning the cpr time in sarcasm is of no use. Sakura's all doing those things were being of absolute zero help. He was saved only because of obito putting the bijuu in him again.

Aw, you're bothered by it. See, in the Naruto universe, you can't make a corpse a bijuu. I'm sure you've realised by now that Sakura keeping Naruto alive was helpful, unless you've erroneously concluded that putting a bijuu in a dead body also resurrects the dead.

 

The only thing left for sakura is yes seduce sasuke somehow because she just can't let go or resolve her stupid feelings for him. So y not trouble and seduce him so much that he finally gives up.

 

Because Sakura isn't interested in Sasuke anymore, as explained by Kakashi, although feel free to ignore facts.

 

Moreover naruto deserves to shine more than sakura at the end of the manga. Otherwise it's just horrible writing because giving sakura something where she was not needed and ignoring the chances to show she has really developed since part 1 sakura is simply not done.

 

Poor Naruto, being the boy of prophecy, never having time to shine.

 

I don't see any horrible writing, just horrendous reading.

 

 

You can't want to take away the reason of Naruto defeating sasuke since the very beginning just because your favorite character just woke up after getting stabbed and crying desperately to stop sasuke from leaving because she could find any other way to convince him to be with her.

 

My favourite character is Jiraiya, I don't see him around.

She can by speed, with Kakashi using his eyes, anything can make her at the spot. Also, the battle isn't far. Kakashi was covering himself when they attacked at the same time.

 

She may or may not stop Sasuke's punch, and they don't need to have a talk with Sasuke for what to do next. Few words and some panels are enough.

Sakura will be right in time for team 7 reconcialiation after Naruto redeems Sasuke, don't except anything else Kishi has disappointed me too many times to believe she will have an active role or stand up to Sasuke

I'm finally posting on the same day as the release again.

 

I like this chapter, there's nothing quite like a good ole fashion brawl to liven things up.

 

I'll almost guarantee that is one of Naruto's Shadow Clones, and if it is it draws yet another parallel to the Hashirama-Madara fight, Madara thought he had won but when he went for the finishing blow it turned out to be Hashirama's Wood Clone, and Hashi was able to defeat Madara, if Naruto is unable to defeat Sasuke then he has failed to surpass the previous generations.

 

Anyway I can't wait for next week.

Did you even read last chapter? Naruto does not want to defeat Sasuke the way he is now. If he were to beat him in this fight he would not consider it a a victory. He's not trying to beat him in a fight, he's trying to stop and save him.

This argument has been answered to the death already. First of all, when someone you know declares they are going to kill you and everyone you love, the most logical thing to do would be to try to appeal to their humanity. Which was what Sakura was trying to do. What you want from her, scream expletives at Sasuke?
 
If she "stood up" to him, at his level, would mean an instant KO for her. There's absolutely no point; she's not going to pull a Hinata and end up as roadkill.
 
Who said Sasuke was more important than her and Naruto? Sakura doesn't treat Sasuke any different to how Naruto treats Sasuke: they both see him as an important friend. The whole point of the manga is love/ friendship / bonds overcoming hatred. Why do you think the main villain here is Naruto's BFF, and not Kaguya?
 
This chapter is setting up Sakura to save Naruto. Please, don't let your prejudice of her ruin our moment.

I think after various murder attempts, him telling Naruto to let her die with Kakashi and other abuse of many kind she should get the memo that Sasuke simply doesnt give a crap about her opinion and that "trying to appeal to his humanity"is a lost cause.

I didnt say to stand up to him physically neither did I say Sasuke is more important than them what I said is that at this point she should be more worried about Naruto and Tsunade than pathetically begging Sasuke to stay with them when she should know she has absolutely no effect on him.
Thats right they both are equally as pathetic about Sasuke when Sasuke has made his own choices and they should hold him responsible for them. I know what are the themes it doesnt make things any less cringeworthy especially when concepts such as personal responsibility are thrown outta the window but youre right that my problem is more general than about Sakura specifically.

Believe me I don't have any prejudice against her or Naruto I like both but when it's about Sasuke they are really annoying. As I said before I will still give her the benefit of the doubt but I highly doubt she will play a role in the NaruSasu fight.

Ok, couple of notes.

-Ah, now I know what Sasuke was missing. That waist thingy. I was wondering what exactly was missing because seeing him now was making me wonder what's bothering me. Now I know. Surprise that shirt isn't out.

-The thing is Sakura is focusing on the rivalry of Naruto and Sasuke, so she's not going to think about what just happened between him and her. It's all about these two since they're about to settle it once and for all. The topic always focus on one thing and don't really bring others into the mix. So that part that happened before won't bring up here or now, I don't know. The point is the focus is on them. I would like to comment that Sakura is the only one that has seen this brotherhood from the very beginning, so score one for her than anyone else, especially since this manga has that focus on it, right.

-This is a double edge sword. We have two sides now. On one hand, you have people who wants Sakura to hop in and fight but will have Naruto never beat Sasuke on his own. On the other hand, you have people who wants Naruto to beat Sasuke but will have Sakura not getting her action. So, decision, decision. What do you think it's the right call? What do you think will have the less complaints?

-The next chapter is where everything is decided. Sasuke managed to steal Kuruma's last ounce of chakra, so now, he will use it against Naruto with one last blow. In short, this next chapter is the final strike. It all ends here. If possible, the last chapter may in fact be the aftermath of everything. Again, the next one is the end of the battle and you could squeeze in everything that needs to be said. We may jump skip back to home, but we'll see soon enough.

I think there will be some kind of understanding or like a reconciliation. Sasuke is still alive, so it  can mean something like that.
