- Hard work -> Heroes receiving massive powerups though inheritance, reincarnation and gifts, the only one on whose appiles, is nowhere near to surpass his teacher and is negleted (Rock Lee)

I dont know what they're discussing there are people whom liked Sakura punching Kaguya but i have a mixed reaction.
Nonetheless she's nowhere near the standing where Naruto, Sasuke and Kakashi are, Kishimoto dedicated a lot of panel time to Kakashi's new powers and only give one panel to Sakura.

Might not be her time but i'm not putting my hopes up, i'm actually disappointed by her treatment so far.

All because it was Sakura who got a good hit in to let naruto and sasuke succeed and not their overrated "goddess" Hinata. Some of those haters are just Hinata fans. Others just want to find ways to get rid of sakura when they cannot stand the fact she is important to the story.

 

These are the same fans who tend to forget kishi could have let hinata stick around or go with sakura when naruto needed aid but he didn't.

It's not a bout that, he still had a lot of unfinished business and while he dies the villains get time to "fix" their kitten before saying farewell.

Training?

All the powers (except for Chidori) he used in this chapter he obtained from an asspull that made no sense. Add to that he has demonstrated a surprising amount of proficiency for powers he has never used before.
 
 
 


Glad I'm not the only one who was unimpressed with this.

As to power-ups...she doesn't need them. She just needs three other people with them to catch Kaguya's attention long enough to land a punch. I am glad to see her take the initiative (that part was good), but otherwise I'm far less impressed that others.

I think you and sushi are correct. This isn't the leap forward people are treating it as, it's ancillary stuff in a desperate bid to have her do something because he can't consistent work her. Her bid to save Naruto and help Obito were more impressive. This is superior to nothing, but that's it.

I agree. Kishi is trying to make her more relevant because she's the heroine but it's difficult because everyone has power ups and he's trying to maintain her normal and still make her important. But i'd add something: That punch wasn't only "by surprise" for what we've see, the Byakugan has a blind spot, 1 only degree.

I don't think it's just about Hinata

Any character that isn't Sakura or Karin(she's also hated a lot), people will be fine about this
