Am I the only one who thinks Naruto gets way to many power ups and that this fight is taking way longer than necessary?

Shonen Jump rule: as long as it flashy & explosive, author can rule out physical law

Btw, normal human shouldn't move that fast without tearing his muscle or breaking his bone.

No, I don't think you are even remotely the only one who thinks that.

I think naruto need that power up to face sasuke, and I always a jump character to fulfill his potential near the end of manga. I still think we will get another power up from naruto(sealing anyone?).
This war arc is indeed taking a long time, since it act as a conclusion for side character and some main characters conflict. That's why I believe sakura will get a her time in this arc. And naruto is not the only manga who do this, but I agree that taking 4 year is a long time.

I wouldn't say only, but I don't agree with this. Well, receiving yes, but one post about getting it with no effort, I wouldn't agree. This one is perhaps the first time and somewhat understandable one. That said well we got to get ready for one final battle soon.

He gets but Sasuke has crossed the line on that one on Naruto's and Sasuke's last powerup it's because there's no foreshadowing whatesover, they were given a powerup because Kishi entered on a situation on were by logic it inst possible to make them stronger than Madara.Am I the only one who thinks Naruto gets way to many power ups and that this fight is taking way longer than necessary?
Yes the fight is tiresome but it's not because it's lasting long but the reason is that the villain Madara he's not compelling, he was a good one when he was fighting the kages but then Kishi came with Hashi/Madara flashbacks and the reasoning behind his plan then we found out that his reasoning is utterly bs and then the guy who was a badass and was seeking power turned into a person that could not get over with the death of his brother.
Before Madara there was Obito and on the verge of his victory he decided to give up and surrendered to Naruto's beliefs.

Well what else do you think they were paralleling? With Naruto and Sasuke its obvious, with Obito and Kabuto the parallel is that they're making up for the mistake of making the war by saving the ones who can stop it for Sakura and Karin there is really no other way to look at the parallel than their love interests caring for them unless it was supposed to be looked at female teammate parallels in which case that would be pointless, and we would probably have gotten parallels for others as well.
What were they paralleling here? Or why is Kushina and Hinata next to each other here? Or that odd connection of Hinata meaning towards the sun or Sakura confessing to Sasuke during a crescent moon that is going rampant on tumblr at the moment?
Some of you take these parallels or similar positionings too seriously, only to dismiss it when it's not convenient for the pairing of choice. Sometimes a pumpkin is just a pumpkin, pointlessly existing. It doesn't have to transcend itself into a carriage and take the babe into the ball so she can marry the prince every time.
If it takes 450 chapters to see NS has a tender hug moment, it's worth the wait for me. If it takes 663 chapters to see Sakura CPR-ed Naruto and pledges to save him, it's worth it.
Waiting years for a miserable hug is not worth it. Then again, I'm not reading this manga for pairings.
It's sad, too. It was a good chapter up until Naruto came back.
I'm having trouble accept this. Gai really should have died.
I think naruto need that power up to face sasuke, and I always a jump character to fulfill his potential near the end of manga.
Sasuke got powered up too. Naruto didn't need this power to face Sasuke at all. They were already at the same level or could be written to be at the same level. They got powered up to defeat Madara.
I'm beginning to doubt Naruto and Sasuke will even fight at this rate. Naruto said before if they clashed, they'd die. With this escalation of power, it becomes impossible for these two have a fight that will be satisfying.
I still think we will get another power up from naruto(sealing anyone?).
Really? Aother one?

Gai could have went out like a boss. But no. The Messiah had to come and give us his blessings.
Well lets be clear it was obvious that Gai wasn't going to die. For 2 reasons first of all Kishi hammered us with if you use the 8 gates you'll die, and we all know that eventually Kishi does the exact opposite of what he tells us. And the second reason recently Kishi doesn't use foreshadowing when it comes to killing a character. He just kills them. Examples: Neji, Inoichi, Shikaku.

Which I've told you - time and time again - is dangerous! There will never be consensus, son, among those you have helped to ascend. They will all differ in their views of what it means to be free. The peace you so desperately seek does not exist.
These men are united now by a common cause. But when this battle is finished they will fall to fighting amongst themselves about how best to ensure control. In time it will lead to war. You will see.

I'm confused or maybe I wasn't clear in that post.
I agree he should have died. That it was I mean. I was enjoying the chapter until Naruto showed up and saved him. Everything from Naruto's entrance to the end of the chapter was crap. Gai's rescue included.
So, I'm clear, did you think the whole chapter was bunk or just Naruto saving Gai forward?

I liked the fight...yet this was a so so chapter...too random for Naruto to suddenly come out of nowhere.
Why? Kishi...What are you trying to do? Why are you trying to give death no consequence?

But what an earth is there left for his character to do? I see no reason to let him live.
Death is so cheap in this series. I hate that Kishimoto constantly says do X and you die, and then when someone does X they don't die via a convenient Deus Ex Machina
I get the occasional miracle, but they seem to happen an awful lot in this series. It's long since old.

I'll admit. As much as I love Naruto, all these power-ups of his are getting pretty ridiculous. Honestly, most of Naruto fighting his enemies are almost boring to me in a way. He's OP as hell now, you don't really feel that "this a real challenge" kind of vibe because no one is to his level. Except for Madara which was a nice change of pace (getting his tailed beast extracted and all that), but now it feels like we're back to OP land.
It's times like this I miss Part I. Naruto putting up a great fight, getting beaten and knocked down, struggling for while, and then he wins not because of his power but because of his willpower and determination to win. Even the Pain fight did this pretty good, but this War Arc is not giving me that same feeling too often.
I really don't like that Naruto revived Guy. All the sacrifices he made were cheapened, right down to his flashbacks. He's not accepting death with honor because Naruto has to be savior. And I know we don't know much about Naruto's new abilities ... but I'm desperately hoping he really can't revive people that easily.
Aside from the fact that this ability came out of nowhere, if Naruto really can bring people back then what about Sakura? What role will she have in the series since being a healer takes up so much of that? Naruto having those special abilities and more effectively I might add makes her in the background as healer totally redundant. It's seriously undermining her, that was always supposed to be her type of thing.
I guess I liked this chapter, but this is the one thing I had a problem with.

There is always a purpose. We can't say "what's left for the character?", because many authors give their characters more purposes, if the storyline continues and lingers long enough til there's no more to write about (look at the fighting genre-storylines in video games such as Street Fighter and Tekken). Now we can say Guy's alive, though crippled, so at the end, he could be the one ninja to retire and live life in a young age, and pass on his taijutsu and teachings to Lee. A maybe fitting end to write him off or not for the final arc. There doesn't need any more sacrifices, if the author decided, we had enough of that with Neji and foddler ninja.
And there's Deus Ex Machina everywhere now at days, its a more of a trope. Either that, or its Word of God/Executive Meddling at play.

In the current moment she's being a pairing fodder i dont know what he intends to do with her but she's being put aside with Karin.
I dont expect nothing from the heroine of the manga i think Kishi already give up on her character, that inteview when he said that she slipped on his mind it's kinda obvious he doesnt have much on his sleeve to develop her character aside from romance.
Yet there's speculation that Tenten, the character whose status has largely been disregarded and handwaved for almost all of the manga, is priming the means to Madara's destruction behind the curtain as we speak (and she'll presumably not have any anxiety attacks around Madara like Sakura did despite being part of the same general age group and having close to the same amount of combat experience).
What kind of logic is it that could be used to justify a comparison of Sakura's status versus someone like Tenten's? You could say that it's a shining moment of importance that's been long overdue since her character has received very little panel time, but to have it be during this critical phase against the penultimate villain?
I would sooner hope for Killer Bee to stage a grand reemergence, battered and bloodied, in an effort to avenge Gyuki, as well as siphon off some of the spotlight that Naruto and Sasuke have been basking in.
I'll admit. As much as I love Naruto, all these power-ups of his are getting pretty ridiculous. Honestly, most of Naruto fighting his enemies are almost boring to me in a way. It would have made for an unexpected turn if Naruto had been irreversibly limited to just Sage Mode for the rest of the manga. He would have to somehow cope with the enormous discrepancy now existing between himself and the relevant figures of the story. Improvise, refine, and rely on his own strengths instead of whatever was fed to him by the bijuu.
That alternate scenario may not be glistening with the idea of cooperation or teamwork, but it might give Naruto more of a survivalist's mentality if he were forced to use only what his personal body can muster.
