As for the "heads-up," yeah we got the heads up ever since they said "He is an Uchiha." I hate Sasuke's character because of this reason and it goes far beyond than just "off-screen" development.

Hmmm I think, he need to make sasuke equal to naruto, either by natural or FORCE way as soon as kishi decide to make naruto vs sasuke the last fight of this manga. to be honest, I always saw sasuke as zoro of onepiece or gray from fairytail, or uryu ishida from bleach. Who is second strongest/rival character. That mean no matter how strong sasuke, naruto will always stronger than him. But when kishi decide to make them the final fight of the series, then......

He did, but that doesn't mean he lost the Kyuubi. It means he lost most if not all of the chakra to help Naruto, which is why he didn't join in. Also, Kuruma did ask the other to borrow more chakra, rather than ready to be as one. That's why I said Naruto is at the peak. Yeah, that does make sense about Sasuke.

 

Yeah, I always knew that. It's just the way it is for rival character. It's just people doesn't like it, which I don't blame them that's all. I just want to feel like he deserves many credits which he don't really. But who cares, I just want to know if Naruto will come out just fine rather than really beat-up.

I think so. So long Minato stays alive. It's a good chance.

I don't know but I hope the story moves forward in the next chapter. Obito will get the upperhand soon. I do think Naruto will get in trouble soon. He's at a weak state.

Oh Yeah, Has to become one doesn't he? Otherwise why even have him split in two unless the plan was always to unite both halfs together to give NAruto his final power-up? Maybe the Ying and Yang together is the key to finally defeating the Juubi.Ofcourse it would be amusing if both sides don't become one entity but stay seperate sealed inside Naruto, it would be funny seeing Kurama talk with himself, it was one of the plus points in this weeks chapter when he apoligised to his other half for borrowing more chakra.

 

You think Trollbito is bad, just think Madara is waiting in the wings fully expecting to take over, he's not at all worried about what Obito is doing so doesn't consider what he is doing a threat at all and expects to take control whenever he needs to.

Well he is defending the tree. I wonder how all of this can last 9 chapters. This chapter doesn't help to tell you what's next. It only continues the last chapter. I know it sounds odd, but that's how I felt.

If Kishimoto-sensei takes his time with this, it won't.  However, who knows how this will all be resolved.  That's part of the fun in waiting for what comes next and the greatest headache.

I don't get the big deal about Sasuke's powerup this chapter. It's honestly not his own and he won't be able to use it on his own. In a 1v1 vs naruto, sasuke wouldn't be able to use any senjutsu and therefore this shouldn't be considered as a power given to him entirely but a smart decision by kishi to get him involved in the current fight again. When that 1v1 happens, naruto for sure still has the upper hand.

Yeah, I know. It's just that I guess this is the way of saying on how Sasuke will get one powerup that is alined with Senjutsu, by not learning one. So yeah, he does need Juugo, but still. I guess many of us here don't want him to do anything, lol. I don't know but me personally, the last thing I need, which so far, no one has yet, is to give him an equal credit. I will call a million of BS. I'm not talking about the redemption, rather the award that should be given. But again, so far, the mind track is the same, so keep it that way.

Yeah, I know. That's why I am not as mad as others. I'm neutral. It's just that this chapter left nothing to talk about. That's the problem. Not even the flashback helped because it resolved itself. So yeah, left nothing to talk about, which you can call it a dull chapter. This chapter would be ok in a volume reading style, but not as a weekly stuff. It just kills the mood from the last week one. What I want to know is Sakura, Shikamaru, and most importantly, the next theme of the volume. This one feels like 647.5. So yeah, I should calm down and try not to get lost in the shuffle and start talking about something I will hate to happen in here.

Hey, I was highly disappointed in this chapter too but I ultimately understood the context of it and where it wanted things to go. With the kages now here, the potential is not higher next week and I expect it to be pure and utter action from now on. No more flashbacks and no more anything until naruto and sasuke get a good hit and hurt obito. I also want this whole Rin deal resolved as well with Sakura in the picture. It's just I would be lying if I said I thought this chapter would be pure action. I honestly thought there would be one chapter in this volume which would get the entire shinobi alliance involved. When skimming though the chapter i just realized that one of the gokage in hashiramas memory looks like bushido brown from the boondocks or that character from black dynamite?

 

The 1st Raikage does give off that vibe of a 70s black guy from actions movies, rocking that afro-stache combo. I bet he got all the ladies.

 

Funny enough, the 2nd Raikage makes me think of Mr. T who was prevalent in the 80s. Do you think Kishi made a pattern to black stereotypes through the decades? Does that mean the 3rd symbolizes the 90s and the 4th the new century?

Yeah, I know. It's just I hope he got this under control. The focus is right, so no need to shift too much. It's hard for me to explain but I think I will keep it to myself before it becomes a reality. I just hope something happens in the next chapter. Something...that fits well with me, but I can only hope and wait. After rereading it, nothing has changed, well not the one that I'm most invested in, so I am ok. I think the more I stay with this chapter discussion, the more I feel like something will go wrong.

I am already quite sick on how Kishi use "Ooooooooooh Naruto/Sasuke/Sakura/Whatever reminds me of greathero/greatsacrifice/greatcharacter" over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again.

 

I mean, it's quite alright for the first few times, but how longer does Kishi feel the need to bash our skull with the info that Naruto reminds everyone of some other people? I get it, we get it, so stop making such comparison over and over again. It's unnecessary padding--although maybe padding is the whole point in the first place.

The only thing that capture my attention in this chapter was in the flashback

 

One of the kage associate look exactly the same as Orochimaru ?? Im hype to see what's up with that ! Maybe it's just a coincidence tough but it's weird ! Also it's cool to see Muu , he was a badass character ! But should'nt the second Mizukage be there too ? Well whatever

Also i love the looks of the first kages way more then the fifth generation , one of them look like Gandalf
