I think we have hit DBZ level. By that I mean we have reached a point where accurate assesments of level are next to impossible except when compared to each other. You can ask is Naruto/Sasuke stronger than X, but trying to much else seems pointless.

DBZ quantified it for a while then ditched it once SSJ came in. Then it was just a bunch if "relative" comparisons amoing the relevant heros and villain of the day.

Considering they have chakra shroud then no and even if the slug still attaches I still say no. Because as soon the root stab you than you're finish. Maybe barely alive just like shikamaru and since the mini slug(I like it) is dead, sakura cann't perform remote (mass) healing.

i might be jumping the gun here, but after seeing this quote of hers...if shikamaru somehow pull through this (by tsunade, karin, sakura, ino, or joint efforts), I'm scared that sakura would be the other one of the important konoha rookie to die..

 

Don't worry, it had nothing to do with it. Sakura was remembering the strong resolve she's got while healing Naruto. At that moment she has decided to fight for their future instead of giving up, even upon the cost of her life.

The next panel shows her frustration seeing how Shikamaru has been injured. It's as if they were going to die without even having a chance to fight.

 

But that's all. It doesn't mean Sakura is going to die next.

I wonder if Naruto life span will be affected be the number of time he has used beast mode?

 

That's a good question , Jiraiya mentioned when he enters a state involving Kurama's chakra , the cloack surrounding his body does constant damage to it , is short it cuts his life by the second . So , maybe ,just maybe.
However , Naruto transformed that chakra now into a positive (good) so it doesn't damage the shinobi or himself , albeit we haven't seen him go in that state when his mind is his own and in that strange shroud (cloak) covering his body just like Bee.

 I don't know which of the two would be targeted first if they were in such close proximity to each other; presumably the human since they would realistically have more chakra than a fraction of Sakura's distributed chakra and whatever Katsuyu personally gives to each spawn. If the slug was drained first followed by the humans then that would make sense but if the humans had been robbed of all their chakra and was surviving on Katsuyu who was channeling chakra to them then when It dies they would be killed as a result. 

 

Edit: Think of it like Madara who was hooked up to Gedo Mazo as a form of life support. After he detached himself from it he died.

Sakura's fault or not for the alliance death and related to Shikamaru now, Sakura's possible death, Sakura's emotion in this chapter... From what I'm seeing, it's mostly related to Sakura...

 

There's so many. It feels like today's chapter thread is random and everyone is going round and round.

True but I do wonder what price their is when it comes to such powers, as it shown with the 8 gates, MS, Tsunade's seal something that powerful always comes with a price or huge weakness.

I'm going to go ahead and say it will take about 8-10 chapters for these 15 minutes to go through... I'm pretty sure this war will reach it's end by the end of next volume. This is officially the FINAL push... It's now or nothing.

Thinking about it, it's because there were too many characters in too many different places and they all needed to have development and go through phases. Now they are all here together at once so it's all going forward and not moving from one area of focus to another. There is only ONE focus. Kishi also said in a recent interview "naruto is for sure reaching the climax" and this sure as hell is it. This is the end of this war as far as I believe. However there will still probably be 4-5 more volumes until naruto fully ends. And in the end, if you do the math, kishi basically went through a half an hour of events in each chapter for two years for it to equal 48 hours.

 Keep in mind that that cloak was shortening his life span , now imagine a sand castle(yes its a stupid example , but bare with me here) build 15 minutes ago near the see/ocean , what happens after a bunch of waves splash it ? In the end there will be nothing left , Naruto will be an empty cup , yes  , he has a lot of stamina, but how long will he keep fighting or distributing chakra like its nothing? Sakura is there for a reason , she will aid him(them) in this situation. He has been fighiting till now by sheer guts , we saw him barely fallen on his knees it took his powerful emotions to bring him back on his feet..
