Now I think about it, what is going to happen next? There is many possibilities for next chapter. Surely, we have Obito in the barrier and possibly with Madara and Hashirama. Will Obito just break it and continues to fight? Will Madara take the chance to do trump card? What's your thought?

There is a possibility that the five kages will show up, possibliy that big narusaku moment that people have guessing for a while, but wouldn't be surprised if Madara's trump card is where we end off next week since it would be considered the eighth chapter of the volume.

Very enjoyable chapter. I especially liked the interaction between Naruto and Minato. It was very touching how Naruto gave that goofy smile and acknowledged both Minato and Kushina's feelings.

 

It was also nice to see that rest of the alliance again, especially Sakura. I agree that it could potentially lead to a NaruSaku moment or at the very least a Sakura moment. I really want to see more badassery from her.

I hate to be the one to bring up pairing-related matters in a chapter discussion that didn't focus on pairings but I've noticed the NH fans have gotten far too cocky for their own good. They need to be put in their place. Up until recently NH had little to no development or even character interaction, and they relied mostly on filler to support their pairings but now ever since Hinata's confession they've adopted this condescendingly arrogant demeanor towards us NS fans in particular, who from the beginning have always had good character development and interaction on our side. They're such obnoxious brats. This may be spiteful but I truly hope Kishi puts forth more NaruSaku moments to humble their haughtiness.

 

As for this chapter. It was decent. Would have been much better if it ended on a new form but at the very least it's an improvement from last week's release.

Minato continues to punish himself severely for believing he brought the Naruto world to this point, so I'm glad that Naruto has voiced that he has no ill feelings for him and recieved the messages he and Kushina made for him. He should be proud of the young man his boy has become.

 

Concerning Sasuke...

It was a welcome change to see Sasuke in somewhat awe at Naruto's abilities (even if we'll never see him openly admit it) and see him take a backseat to Naruto for once. In fact, to me Sasuke struggles to fit into this dynamic that Naruto, Minato and Tobirama have established these last few chapters. These three seem to feed into each other very well (especially Tobirama's 'straight man' to Naruto's 'funny man') but Sasuke just feels like an added prop. I'm looking to when Sasuke finally makes his move and returns to his clear antagonist role, as I feel it suits him better, and upon seeeing what Naruto can do, it will infuriate him even more.

And once again, for all the shouts of SS, Sasuke's apathy (for everything except his obsession with Naruto and his new Hokage ideals) wins out. He was willing to abandon everyone except Jugo and Naruto to escape the blast, including Sakura. For any SS fans reading this message... This is the guy you want Sakura to be with??

What I also found interesting is that Minato had a '!!' above his head when Jugo approached Sasuke, suggesting he overheard their conversation about fleeing the blast. I hope it sows another seed of suspiscion of Sasuke's plans in the minds of the Edo Kage, to go with the displeasing glares Naruto and Hashirama displayed when Sasuke voiced his intention to kill the Ten-Tails.
 

I hope Sasuke is watching and logging everything he sees. Naruto is the darling of this Alliance and he must know by now (if he hasn't already) that he'll never be elected to be Hokage for as long as Naruto's name is in contention. Hopefully, we'll see a bit more of what he has planned.

 

Good to see Sakura again, and with the Alliance safe and healed, the road is open again for her to step back up onto the frontline. Any further Kushina or Rin parallels would be a bonus.

Concerning Sasuke i highly doubt he wanna be kage, it's kinda obvious he has dark desires and killing Naruto obviously wont make him up for kage.

I believe he still wants to destroy the village or even going even further like destroying the alliance army.

If he destroys the alliance army he pratically has the world at his feet if he wants.

He wants to kill him to erase his past and break his bond with Naruto like he stated recently.

 

After that talk he pratically knows that anyone would never accept him as kage and would confront him, he even says "i figured out you wont let bygones by bygones" which is funny coming from someome like him.

 

Also he would not come back saying " i came back because i want to kill Naruto by myself so i'll help the alliance to take out this big guy and then i'll kill Naruto".

I think he lied to the alliance and also lied to the kages, because they could kill him right there.

Wow, Sasuke was nice in this chapter. I had such a wtf face when he asked Naruto about their next move, it was just so un-Sasuke.   I'm really wondering if he truly thinks he will carry out killing Naruto because right now he's acting like he almost genuinely cares about me. Maybe he's just a great actor or his resolve is wavering? Who knows. I just know Sasuke's 'niceness' is creeping me out.

 

Lol, loved Naruto's conversation with the 2nd! I always love how characters make comments of him maturing but then immediately afterwards Naruto does something awkward or goofy, it's perfect.

 

I'm really sad how much Minato blames himself for everything that happened. It wasn't his fault, he tried his best with what he knew and even if he failed Obito, he still saved the village. And now he's helping save the village again, he shouldn't be so hard on himself. And the father-son moments, damn it kills me.

Lol, things are really getting desperate, isn't it? The whole point of the kunai is to established on how Naruto and others escaped the blast, which led to Tobirama explains the whole details. I can't even go to tumblr as things are becoming a mess. Yes, I have read a lot of odd stuff. Trust me, it's bad.
