I think Sage mode doesnt make sense when Naruto got his powerup with the kyuubi, i mean the sage mode improves his skills overall but the kyuubi chakra does it further, Sakura is the only character left who can fight with Sage mode all the way but it's highly unlikely that she will get it.

The only think Sage mode does that the cloak can't do is raise awareness. Naruto himself said he can sense attacks better while in Sage mode then when he's using Kurama's power. Other then that though, yeah the difference in power amplification seems drastic

Yeah, I am kinda disappointed too, but if that's Obito's only weakness as the mock sage; then I see Naruto combining Bijuu Mode and Sage Mode.

On the other hand it was comic, 642 ( LOLOL SAGE MODE AWESOMENESS)

looked more like Naruto showing Sasuke his skills what's the point of that?

 

He's not aware that they will fight each other?

 

And also on the kyuubi mode he can sense evil, cant he sense Sasuke's evil intentions?

He's not aware that they will fight each other?

I find it funny that Sasuke seemed to forget that he already fought someone with Sage powers, so it was like he didn't know a thing about senjutsu

Yeah worse is that Sakura sensed Sasuke's evil intentions but Naruto who is supposed to have this ability could not sense that.

I think he does because if you look back at 634 Naruto and Sasuke did have that debate about whether not the tentails should live or die. This is a theory, but I think in chapter 639 Naruto could sense that Sasuke saved him for his own reasons. He was in kyubi mode, and one of its abilities is sensing negative emotion.

He could have sensed the whole "i want to erase the past". but it's not he's there hey Sasuke watch my skills and study my moves so you can kill me later.

I kind of understand why Naruto hasn't commented on Sasuke's bad intentions. Maybe like Sakura, he wants to hide it?

 

What is he gonna say.. "Sasuke, are you still evil?", "Please don't betray us!".

 

The wisest thing would for Naruto to do is just to be cautious and not let down his guard.

So that explains why Obito no longer uses Kamui.

 

I'm guessing since Sage Mode got the shaft, again, Naruto's group's main focus will be on countering the 4 bijuu bombs. Expecting some FTG collaborations or something similar. Hoping Kishi picks up the pace a bit more for the next chapters.

Yeah, I think that too. It's possible that it will be when the last step of defeating Obito, or when battling Madara and he's in bad shape then something happens as in power and... Boom... Naruto ready to deliver his powerful attack. The steps I putted in the latter go with when fighting Obito also or even for both. I see an upgrade for his powers.

 

One way for the Sakura and Rin parallel here is when Naruto is damaged badly, Sakura will have a spot here to heal him and we'll have our parallel from Obito when she's healing him that the healing will trigger, or Sakura's care about Naruto, or a memory, or even all of them. That's could go nicely here. I like this way.

And this volume or at least the Minato Obito conflict seems to be wrapping up.

An alright chapter. Juubito continues to be a pessimist while Naruto remains steadfast in his beliefs. What I am really looking forward to is a possible father/son combination attack. The Yellow Flash teaming up with The Orange Hokage = Awesomeness!

 

That being said, I just hope that Kishi doesn't forget about the rest of the alliance, especially the K11. Then again, perhaps this is not meant to be their fight. Still, I can't help but feel that Sakura should at least play some part in all of this, especially with the way Kushina was mentioned twice in this chapter.
