[Kakashi-Sensei]

Kun is mostly used for males. It is also used by grown-ups for kids, someone with a lower status than you or if a girl wants to flirt with a boy.

 

Or a male friend, but if you're close friends you stay away from suffix. Chan is an exception.

 

This doesn't count in every manga ofc, but in Kishi's mind I think this is what it means. But remember, in OP Sanji uses San with Nami and Chan with Robin. Still he loves them both equally. :3

Oh alright then , now that i think of it I never saw a girl call with the Kun suffix so your right

 

On an other note , I dont think that the canon couples use suffix for there lovers , Minato and Kushina didin't use one , same for Asuma and Kurenai and I dont think Dan and Tsunade use any of it too. So i guess the fact that Sakura didin't use suffix for Naruto is not that bad after all.

I don't think there gonna die, maybe sasuke but even thank think it's a long shot. It's gonna be a brutal fight though that much is certain. I really want this war to end now it's getting pretty can boring. It's picking up now, but the last 6 months of them just dancing around th juubi was way boring.

I agree. I am so ready for this war to finally be over. I feel like it's just been dragging on and on. Also, I feel like the war will become extremely overwhelming now since we have the alliance battling jubito as well as Hashirama and Madara fighting. Ugh, I'm sorry, but I have no desire to see a super long, hard-to-follow battle between Hashi and Madara :\ It feels like this war is never going to end lol. Does anyone else feel a little overwhelmed by the war to? Or am I just overreacting...?

Kakashi used "Sakura-kun" back when he had first met her. This is normal to use kun in this way. This was due to her being his inferior. Minato is using the same "kun" for Sasuke. Itachi uses "kun" for Naruto. As for girls using "kun", it can be towards all guys, not just ones they flirt with (but that is a common use).

"Chan" is used for small children or very close girl friends, teasing boys, and is a lot more common in manga and movies and such than real life. Edit: common meaning liberal use.

Drop the other suffixes when you are close to someone because that makes you familiar. Take Lee as an example!

Regardless if the pace is picking up and what not, I'm still wary of the Hashi and Madara fight for I feel like it will make the war overwhelming again. I'm afraid there will be too much going on is all. I'm curious as to how Kishi will juggle the Hashi/Madara fight as well as the jubito fight without making it seem like one big, excuse me, clusterkitten. I am sorry that I'm being pessimistic about the war as of now, I merely feel like it dragged on longer than it could have or should have is all, and frankly, I'm getting a little impatient, unfortunately.

My prediction is obvious. Minato will save them both and at that time the kages will arrive along with Orochimaru. I believe in the upcoming chapters Tsunade will have a conversation with Sakura about the seal and she will bring the topic of Sasuke telling her she doesn't trust him, and might try to hurt Naruto making Tsunade to be in full alert if something does happen to him. I'm adding that we might get a flashback of them having a conversation when Sakura pretended to join Sasuke during their 2nd reunion leading to her confession. This will be the first step of ending SS for good.

Kishi explained it in the manga that in order to create a feeling of closeness between two one should remove suffixes and drop in nicknames. And adding the suffixes kun and san create an emotional barrier. And kishi purposely then made sai compare naruto and sakura that sakura doesnt use any suffixes with naruto and uses nicknames instead and how naruto uses chan with sakura. So he basically showed us that naruto and sakura have close bond.

What I meant with the post wasn't that it happened long ago. I just thought Gravenimage's post pretty much cleared it up and that it was unnecessary to bring it up again. That's all, but I didn't know about the report ofc.

It will also be fun to see Sasuke meeting Gaara and Raikage again. Raikage will be suspiscious and Gaara might mention something about Sasuke's eyes and how they've not changed.

Naruto will change him, and from what the manga is showing, he won't be back to Konoha, but he'll be changed, and he'll be with Team 7 in heart which he's saved. Saving him doesn't have to be mean by having him back to Konoha.

It's possible that Sasuke will die. But, what I meant with " he'll be with Team 7 in heart " is when he either dies or be a wanderer. With that, Sasuke is changed and will be part of Team 7 forever.

I truly think the only way to save sasuke at this point is to save him from himself. That is how I see naruto not failing but also sasuke dying in the process. I see no other outcome for sasuke.

Well I think the war is dragging because kishi want to cover everything in this manga including pairing that consist naruto.
If you think about it, this war arc is bigger version of chunnin exam arc + konoha invasion arc.
It has the same vibe for me.

Yes I believe they did, Tsunade healed Sasuke after Itachi put him  through the tsukuyomi but I am not sure they talked and Tsuande was in a coma during the kage summit so she wasn't there.

I think the Hashirama vs Madara fight that will take place is going to be interesting cause I think the Kages are going to give a hand, or there's something unexpected that will happen cause Madara and Hashirama fighting for few chapters and just them is going to be a drag for Kishi. Unless the fight against Obito and the fight against Madara will be shown together as in fusing them in few chapters.
