So i guess if sakura now goes to heal people on the battlfield everybody would be completly satisfied, right?
Ive got the feeling that this would bring the same reaction like the one people have now: complaining whinning.

I wasn't gonna write anything here at first but I might as well. I'm sure i'll be told that I need to "stop being so negative even when that's not the case. I agree with a couple of people here. I should of quoted them but meh, they'll probably know when they ready my post given it'll likely somewhat resemble a piece of theirs.

For me personally, the chapter was alright but really bittersweet because we're finally shown Sakura but a few things immediately hit me as I saw her.

She had the chakra cloak already meaning she received it off panel. It seems as though there also won't be some flashback of her getting it either. She's not in the other dimension or with the Kages, or anything of that sort.

For me, it's sort of strange. Please don't throw out that, "side characters were prominent and so of course it makes sense", because to me it doesn't. You give one side character a moment with her getting the cloak such a telling way. You then give other characters the cloak. Side characters, and characters who aren't even named also. Even a main one though I'm not sure. Did Kakashi get shown getting a cloak? You show this huge mass of an army in the background but guess who's not there. Guess who was practically invisible the entire time. I know others were and still are but it's such a disappointment. It just flat out seems he didn't have time for her at this point since she was there the entire time and had no mention. So much for some of the awesome predictions that were presented before.

So while seeing her was great, and actually hearing her speak was something, it doesn't make up for the lack of her before. Kishi could easily pull out a flashback of her healing the army, but I don't think that's what she was doing at that time. Just seems he didn't bother with drawing her up before.

I also notice people keep bringing up the rules of healing? Well, that doesn't seem to work here since she's not healing anything in sight. Doesn't even seem like she needed to after everyone got the cloak so IMO, that doesn't make up for her absence before.

I really don't understand why people are so happy Sakura is back, don't get me wrong I'm happy she is back but I'm also disappointed. Because it turned out to be that Sakura was there all along, she wasn't in the other dimension as some of you suggested, she hasn't gone to heal the kages and she wasn't on hold for some special moment with Naruto(forehead kiss chakra transfer). No she was there all along but kishi didn't feel like drawing her to much effort. Right now in kishis eyes Hinata is more important than Sakura, it's just a fact don't hate me. I'm not trying to be a pessimist, I'm just a realist. Right now Sakura is just a random character, I'm hoping this will change soon and she will finally have a real heroic moment. A moment that tells us that she is indeed the heroine of the story. Not a color page with Sakura and the word heroine written on it.

I'm a little surprised so many NaruSaku fans got worked up over something as small as this. From the excitement, I thought it was something a little bigger at first. Guess anything's good for now, we've been very deprived.

But here's the question everyone should be asking over the Pairing Wars. Both Hinata and Sakura got Naruto's chakra to help fight. Yet for some reason, Hinata was the one who had the dramatic, romantic atmosphere one in 615 while Sakura's chakra transfer with Naruto was completely off-panel. More noticable since she wasn't there in 616. Kishi did this on purpose and it's very strange.

Any thoughts?

Exactly. Hinata gets 615 epic moment, we get off panel trolling and fanservice???

Their will be a very strong blow to NS due to that SS moment, maybe making NS totally useless.

Though I hope it doesn't happen but I think I know how kishi is going to end the pairings and unfortunately believe it or not it is with NH and SS as canon pairings. NS doesn't seem to have even 50% chances now. Kishi has already blowed up much of it. These are not my words but many of my friends who just watch Naruto for fighting and other things than romance but since the time I have heard them, I alos think NS chances of happening are way bleak now.

Btw I'm just surprised about the negativity here.. I thought that this would been a good chapter for everyone us but it isn't... I see that a lot of us are still hurted from chapter 615... I guess that the wounds're still opened.

They will never be healed unless our heroine actually does something......

Agreed with you but i disagree with other users who say that NH and SS are likely to be canon, Sakura shows up and shows her worrying about Naruto's state while the others didnt think about that, at least Kishimoto keep that Sakura was able to understand Naruto and knows how he's feeling, i think her bond with him is strong, i'm disappointed with the fact that she's now a pairing centered character, i dont believe on NH being canon but her solely purpose looks like it's NS or SS, when Sasuke comes back might give us an answer but it's what i'm seeing, i'm disappointed with the fact she's not being shown as a heroine but looks like Kishimoto found her closure to be "Naruto or Sasuke".

Well then so much for the "side characters were getting the spotlight at the moment" argument considering Kakashi too was plastered in some of those pages as well. It also seems like that reaction Sakura had to seeing Naruto and Hinata isn't gonna play some huge role either. And I'm not gonna hold tight to my predictions regarding because it seems as though whatever I predict gets thrown right back in my face. LOL

That's precisely why I want to see her to do something OUTSIDE of Naruto. I mean, he's gonna play a part in it likely but, I want to see her shine in her own light. I don't want her to just be pairing fodder. She's her own character, and Kishi should do better things with her. The more I think about it, the more I hope she somehow finds out about Tsunade and she strays away a little from pairing stuff... I just want to see SAKURA shine. That's my main issue really.

Would you've known that Sakura was a main character if this arc is the only one you've read in the manga? Because..I sure would not!

Problem is people are already acting like we should just condemn Sakura to nothing more than a side role despite carrying the title of heroine, she has not done anything major since the Zetsu event but still, nothing has come forward entirely now has it?

I know people here complaining still believe in NaruSaku and have issues with the story, but this complaining is just getting sick and annoying.

I said we were going into uncharted waters, we get a bit of what we love, still so much to complain about. We got Sakura, got her screentime showing more of what we like, concern and belief in naruto, the basis of this pairing, Hinata is pushed to the back again as we wanted, and we still go on complaining about this, seriously enough.

This is just too sad now, its not the story becoming sad, its just how there is no pleasing people anymore. I know this fandom has a better sense of rationality and this site is full of kind people but its not like Ragnarok or Armageddon happened to us. Its not over, geez.

I still see Sakura as an overall good character, people don't always need to fight in these series, Sakura has not fulfilled herself, does this mean she won't? Not necessarily, people are acting like when Sasuke comes back, its just instant reverting, we don't know what will happen.



I really would say more about this chapter, maybe later but this is a good chapter in my opinion and im excited for the next few battles to come. I would say more but people are just acting to negative, assuming too much. Those who say others assume to much and have high hopes for Sakura, take the plank out of your own eyes, you are doing the same exact thing by assuming the worst that Sakura will become a bad ignored or reverted character. I find it hard to believe there are those who say they support something but then just pull stuff like this fearing the worst. I believe NS will come, all the past stuff is still present, it may not happen but that depends on how kishi and the editors go with this. It can become good or just become a glorified fanfiction. But none of this stuff happened yet, NS is still alive in the green, its not the story getting on my nerves its how anything that appears good, we have people just sapping the morale away from others. I like seeing this site alive not down in the dumps like we lost. We got Sakura back, that should be a start, let some event come foreward for her to act and be a heroine, she cannot do it on a whim now can she? No that would be an asspull, I want Sakura to get a good rational development not an asspulling one. I want to see some situation like her protecting Naruto in a grave situation not just her unleash a random power or do something out of the blue, something she can do that actually works.

I'm taking a break from this site, just no pleasing people, even if we got a chapter with Sakura going godmode, its not enough for anyone anymore, my question to those complaining: You make such an issue out of it, what do you expect? You are complaining about Sakura, so what do you want to see from her, please explain this if you made such a case, explain it aside from Kishi losing consistency cause we know this argument. The only time you get that is from a dramatic rescue, and that's not needed at the moment. I actually agree with those that are saying her appearance is foreshadowing, because her concern is immediately echoed by the Kyuubi. Naruto's going to burn out at this rate because he's taking on a load that's clearly beyond his limits.

What does that mean for Sakura? I don't know just yet, but I don't buy that it's 100% throwaway fan service. Besides, keep in mind that it's Sakura, THE MEDIC, that is saying he's pushing himself too hard. That's significant folks. To me that says Sakura will have to intervene to buy Naruto time later on. We'll just have to wait and see though.

Yes, and this is not a random arc. It's the main arc. The most important arc, and her biggest chance to show what she can do. (You know, fighting Chiyo or Sasori, fighting in Kakashi's group with the 7 swordsmen, she could've even been transferred into Kamui) Then she gets stuck in a medic tent XD

Nice to see you here. Yes. We don't know yet but it's definitely a foreshadow, let alone this early in the volume. Time will tell.

Well, in NF, there's a thread with rating, and you can rate them. That said when the rating is good, then it's a really good thread that you should check it out. In this case, we were at 3-stars and so, we have to put ourselves up. It would seem that everytime that we get a moment we lose a star or two because of others. This isn't the first time either. Goes to show you who is being disrespectful.

Oh wow. I guess Heaven and Earth is really a theme in the manga. I do remember Sasuke and Karin is known to be the new Heaven and Earth in one of the issue, but yeah, it was editorial note. Still, interesting choice of words.
