Lol, I know Eren will be fine. It's just so unexpected to see Eren react like this... But then again, he is feeling incredibly guilty. Who wouldn't feel like that in this kind of a situation? Even though it is not his fault, his feels responsible for all the deaths that have happened so far.

I hope you're right cause it hurts even more after what FT delivered...

Yeah it does, but atleast we're getting something so I'm not too disappointed. True that is true Historia will still live (hopefully). Well I gave myself some time to think and I've got three theories based on this chapter.

Theory 1: Historia becomes a Titan eats her father, Levi and co show up, but Eren enters his Titan form to protect Historia from them. Historia will turn back into a human (after killing him similar to what Eren did to Grisha) Levi and Kenny will have some kind of confrontation and then Levi will take Eren and Historia with him return back to the walls and the arc will end with something about Historia becoming the queen.

Theory 2: Eren is doing this on purpose and uses his coordinate power to control Historia in order to kill Rod (again like Eren and Grisha) she turns into a human again cries in depression and blames Eren, but he tells her something that'll make her realize everything she did and something to remind her of Ymir. The Arc ending similar to theory 1.

Theory 3. Levi and I co enter as Eren becomes a Titan to fight off Historia in order to save himself from getting killed. Despite the moments they spent talking with one another Historia ends up getting killed or gets away from the scene. Again the ending of the arc like theory 1.


Now personally I think it would be cool if we had another Titan shifterfighting for humanity like Eren. I think that would be cool, plus there is the whole thing with Historia becoming queen I don't believe that plot element will get dropped. Something tells me that's what is still gonna happen.

He looks like a despicable and pathetic person to me Levi and Kenny will definitely have a talk, and I expect Kenny to explain Levi his past and the legacy of the Ackermans. Btw, now I'm even more interested in what Mikasa has in store.

So, Historia will become the new queen in your opinion? Hmm, I personally don't know how to feel about it... I don't see her fit as a queen right now.

I think she will become a queen b/c as you said, it's been hinted- unless we find out that rotten king had another affair with another housemaid or so. Historia needs to prove to the readers that she is worthy of leading the people. It'd be cool, if she fought together with Eren. We can assume her Titan form will look like in one of those pics with everybody being a titan

Chapter 65

By the end of the series I can definitely see her becoming the queen. Now her becoming the queen was already foreshadowed in Volume 14, chapters 55 & 56 when they brought it up. That's the only thing that worries me when it comes to Historia because this could be where she dies, but we'll just have to see.  I mean with how Isayama structures out the story it's usually 4 chapters equal 1 Volume. 4 Volumes equal 1 arc. so basically it's like this:

 

The Transformation Arc lasted from Volumes 1-4.

 

The Female Titan Arc lasted from Volumes 5-8 

The Clash of The Titans Arc lasted from Volume 9-12 (ending at Chapter 50). 

 

The Uprising Arc (current arc) started at Chapter 51 (1st in Volume 13). Now remember what I said 4 chapters equal 1 Volume, and 4 volumes equal 1 arc. So if you do the math 4 volumes would equal 16 chapters which means this arc will (should) end at Chapter 66. Which is after this month's chapter and that means next month not only will it end Volume 16 (The current volume), but also this current arc as well. So considering that that the next chapter should be the last chapter to this arc holds a lot of wait, and that's also why I'm worried about the next chapter too.

That could happen, but remember the interview linked you too a while back, I remember that in that interview it was stated that there wouldn't be any new mysteries to come across with this arc. It's a good theory, but I'm not sure if that's what is going to happen. You know Despite what Historia did in this chapter does it reduce her character at first I was gonna say yeah, but then I thought about and looked at it again.

When you look at it again Eren's the one who told her you should do this he didn't say don't do it, he said you should do it. Plus loking at Historia's face their was legit tears coming out of her eyes like she's going to regret doing this. Plus throughout this arc they were starting to become friend and for her especially after Ymir left so would hurt her on the inside for doing it.

See had Eren told her no I'm sure she would've thought something else, yeah her father would force to, but I feel like she'd inject the serum into him instead of herself. So yeah Rod told her to become to inject the serum, but Eren's the one who motivated her to do so. Plus that line she said to Eren "I was happy when you called me a normal person." and like I said there were tears coming out when she said it.

I guess what I'm trying to say is Historia's action in this chapter didn't kill all of her character development I'd say half of it is gone. Although we'll just have to wait and see what happens in next chapter which if my theory is correct when it comes to Isayama's structure for the manga, Chapter 66 (next one) should be the final chapter to this current arc. So  whatever happens next chapter will decide everything on where this series will go for not just Historia, but also for Eren, Levi, Mikasa, Kenny, and the others.
