To be honest it's been like that since Hinata was first introduced, it isn't a new development. Let them think what they want.

Or maybe called back by Tsunade somehow.
I highly doubt she went with Sasuke...they're far away, plus there's no reason or method to somehow transport her there.

Naruto II: The Sakura Chronicles: Wild Adventures in Dimensions, Time and Space.

And Naruto is thinking of Sasuke again, in the middle of the battle. That's some serious love there.

Shipping-wise, NH moments continue but nothing has yet confirmed Naruto's romantic feelings for Hinata. How long have these moments been going on? There are moments in ch 614, in really big way in ch 615, in 616 and now in this chapter, at least. So many moments in a row of chapters. It looks really good for NH. But as we still haven't got a confirmation that Naruto's feelings for her are romantic, I don't think anything has been resolved yet. Sakura is still missing, isn't she? Maybe she really has left the battlefield and gone to see Tsunade or something. Though, we saw a lot of people thinking about Hinata's and Naruto's words in this chapter so maybe we see Sakura do the same in the next chapter or so. That should be pretty illuminating when it comes to pairings, too. I sort of plan to just do some lurking until we get more shipping material, as I am not so interested in talking about Naruto in general. I just know my contributions are going to be missed around here.

Naruto has romantic feelings for Hinata??? Riiiiight oh well at least it's better to have a positive attitude. I won't believe it until Kishi confirms he loves Hinata, then again Kishi has shown he loves Sakura since chapter 3. Okay I will end my small shipping rant there. I noticed people are complaining that Sakura is missing, well so does Gai, Shino, Kiba and Sai it's not just Sakura (Tenten was present but once again she was in the chapter to fill space in panels, though that's usually Hinata's job lol). I thought we agree that Kishi was leaving Sakura for last, let's see we still have a focus-development on Gai, Tenten, Shino, Kiba and Sai. This chapter was all about Lee, next chapter we might get some Gai/Tenten focus, follow by Shino and Kiba in the next chapter, Sai might get an entire chapter for focus just like Lee and so does Kakashi. We might not get some Sakura focus until 621 so we have to be patient in the end I think the wait will be worth it. We do know one thing for sure Naruto has given his chakra to everyone in the battle field including the rookies, eventually it will be Sakura's turn and we will see her shine.

Noooo

To give Obito a sucker punch. Anyone notice how he went "ggh-" when the Rasenshuriken should have phased through?

Bolded: If you read my post, you will notice that those are my feelings about the matter as well. I don't yet believe that Naruto definitely has romantic feelings for her, though I now believe that there is a very good chance that NH will happen.
As for Sakura being missing, well, Kishi did show her in couple of panels in the chapters before 616. She was there beside Kakashi, still in the battlefield, even if we only saw her briefly. Then suddenly we didn't see her at all, and yet Kakashi came to join with Naruto. So it makes me curious that Kishi chose to show Sakura before and then suddenly we don't see her at all. And the guy she was with, him we have seen again. Kakashi is right there, where is Sakura?

Maybe. There is still the part where Naruto deals with Sasuke, though. There is a good chance that Sakura will be involved with the Sasuke thing. That arc, no matter what pairings will be canon or what happens, should deal with Team 7 and their bonds.

Not to brag but you will be disappointed in the end. Anyway you have a right to ship NH and I wont complain about that because we all have different taste. However it's a little extreme to believe it will become canon in the manga when there a huge lack of development missing.

As for the "missing" development, this development is happening all the time lately. There Hinata is, by Naruto's side, fighting together with him, giving inspiring speeches, having his back in battle. These are the moments Kishi is going to build NH on, if he is going to build it at all. This is the development right there. This is Kishi showing NH bond.

Even though Sakura is the heroine, Hinata is acting like it while making Sakura appear to be a ghost during this crucial moment in the manga.
Well I'm angry because we're near the end and Sakura is still being neglected. Couldn't care less about NS right now. I just want my god damn heroine to shine, then we can worry about NS.
agree! especially the bolded part.
We're near the end but Kishi keeps neglecting his heroine, I start to fear that even if Kishi give Sakura a big moment, it will not be enough to surpass all the moments tha Hinata has been getting in this arc, she has been quite supportive to Naruto there, Kishi even let her be the one to heal Naruto's shoulder ... it really had to be Hinata?!
Kishi is clearly aware of how people compare Sakura and Hinata, but he still keep giving moments like that to her while leaving Sakura in the shadows .. It's just frustrate!

Another one to cross off the list...

So true!

About Hinata's relocation of Naruto's shoulder.... Kishimoto purposely drew reader attention to it. Why? Naruto's shoulder repair could have been left out or dealt with later; it's not as if Naruto wouldn't have gone on despite the pain. But Kishimoto bothers to draw that moment, and shows Hinata -- who is known not to be a healer -- using an improper technique (a Muggle technique, if you will) to do it. Why? My immediate impression was that the entire reason for showing it at all was Kishimoto making a point: Sakura isn't there to do it. She's NOT THERE. There's no other reason, and nothing else makes sense.
Good point! this is literally the most logical explanation for what happened but unfortunately most people will not come to that conclusion.

Overall, This chapter was awesome!!! that Lee/Neji moment at the beginning was touching and Kurama keeps becoming better than ever!!

I have a question to you guys ... Ino Is a medical nin to right?! so why she always in the frontline and fighting but sakura can't?

Hahaha sorry havent seen any kind of NH development throughout the whole manga.

A little to late to start now right? He should have started about 400 chapters ago.

There is a big difference between being next to him and actually talking to him having a ten minute conversation with him. What you're implying is something that happened two chapters ago. The NS development has been going on since part 1 that's a huge difference. In conclusion it's 1-2 chapters of Nh development vs 400+ chapters of NS development you decide.

For crying out loud be patient sheesh Kishi said "everyone" will shine in the war arc it doesn't mean he hasn't forgotten about Sakura.

I think because unlike Sakura or Shizune she's a medical nin second and her family jutsu is integral to the plan.
It's like everyone forgot about the color spread last week re-confirming Sakura's position. Is it possible even as the heroine she still won't do as much as Hinata has done recently? Oh absolutely but she will shine at some point. Personally I think she will be most important when Sasuke takes central stage as the villain.

I dont think so, Kishimoto mentioned three places for sage training, we have seen only two, if Tsunade dies it's likely to katsuy call Sakura for training on the forest of humid bones.
But i dont think it's too late.

Me too Hinata had an entire arc's without showing off, we had an entire arc without Naruto showing, Sakura goes missing for two chapters and this fandom here says "it's too late for Sakura", "she's weak".
For some reason i think i should avoid going on chapter threads, because instead of debating i only see complaints.
Hinata wasnt even going to appear on this chapter aside from a fanservice but seriously that wasnt a big deal.
A lot of medical ninja missing, where's shizune and the others, she was wavering wants to see hwo she is now, probably healing people, she's a goddamn medic ninja and some people wants her to fight like she's rock lee.
