I'm really starting to wonder what can take these guys down. I mean what do they have in their arsenal. I'm curious what the strategy will be.

Damn, Kishi! We know that we wanted people dying but damn, we had people (named characters) die two chapter in a row! Looks like he's just going to keep amping up the tension... Remember how no one (at least most people) expected any of the K11 to die? Welp... Bye Neji. D: I actually really liked him! Why did he have to kill such a badass (as Naruto himself said!) character? Why didn't he kill off like... Hinata or something. Lol, jokes, but at least Neji is more useful than her. But of course, she's very popular, plus she loves Naruto, so she can't die. And if she did, when NS happens, people will be saying it's only because Hinata died... yeah okay.
Actually, I am pretty angry that Sakura is being shoved aside, as some other people are. I know Kishi said everyone would get a chance to shine, but that doesn't mean you have to disregard others - specifically, the heroine. And I also know that Sakura's spotlight will more than likely come towards the end, but I can only pray that Kishi does it right... Instead of making her cry again. And then make her sit on the sidelines. Again. I want more badassery from the heroine, Kishimoto. And no, defeating a Zetsu once does not count. And healing certainly doesn't count, either. I'm wondering if he's putting a panel or two of Sakura in these recent chapters to remind us that she exists, or to remind himself. Kishi better have her doing something soon, with or without Naruto, or I'm gonna kick some ass. Didn't she say she was going to fight together with Naruto this time? What happened to that? And about Kakashi having to save Sakura - yeah, that was pretty lame, especially for someone who's supposed to be extremely skilled at dodging. I like KakaSaku, though, so it doesn't bother me too much.

About Hinata... There wasn't NaruHina, really, but the focus on her lately (especially instead of Sakura) is quite annoying. And we already got the whole "Hinata is willing to die for Naruto" thing already, we don't need it again. And yes, I know all the side characters are supposed to be shown now, but we've gotten too much of Hinata for my liking. The rest of the side characters better have some focus, too, or I'm going to be pissed (not only because they all deserve their chance, too, but because only having Hinata show up makes her seem like the heroine).
Other than that.. It wasn't too bad. I, and pretty much everyone else her, was right - the tension between Madara and Obito is building. And, I gotta say, Obito is pretty frickin' awesome, pretty much telling Madara off, and taunting Naruto. I love him!
On a side note, it seems like Kishi's assistants have been helping him draw a lot lately. You can tell when he's drawing and when someone else is drawing.
Luckily this isn't the last chapter before break, because I and other people would be left feeling upset during the break haha.

While I agree with most that a bigger buildup would've been nice, Neji's death was IMO a fitting conclusion to his story. Now to wait and see what the fallout's going to be next week. Especially liked the symbolism of the bird, since Neji described the branch family's curse mark as being like a bird in a cage. It got to experience freedom before it's life was snatched away...

@StriderC - Hey Houston, you found the thread finally. Welcome to H&E! Now the old YT gang is back together!

I have been predicting Hinata's death for a long time now. I swear I thought Hinata was the one speared through because she was in the panel before covering Naruto. It turned out to be Neji. So Neji died to save Hinata. THEY COULD OF MADE HYUUGA BABIES! Whatever, it just makes SasuHina a little easier to happen. NEJI IS A SASUHINA SUPPORTER!

I don't think he needs more money, he probably has so much he doesn't know what to do with it.

Maybe tension though, to keep the NH fans til the end, then just ditch them and cherish the NS bond.

that scene was nothing similar in terms of emotional, they both died protecting naruto to fulfill a ritual.
Neji died to protect hinata.

I dont think so. Sakura is willing to die for Naruto like she did before. Plus Hinata is nothing like Kushina. her last words to Naruto make sense in that he did fall in love with someone like her at a young age, Sakura.
