I cannot see Sakura choosing life and death between Sasuke and Naruto. I have no doubt that she would find a way to save both, and would likely turn away from making a choice between the two. Despite his current state, Sasuke still means a great deal to Sakura after all. I don't really believe she favors one over the other, no matter which boy she decides to romantically get involved with.

Well i don't think sasuke means a great deal to sakura,because ih he is still as big a deal as he was earlier then their is no way sakura choses naruto in the end if sasuke becomes good, but she do care for him(sasuke) very much just like naruto wants sasuke back but if she has to chose between Current Sasuke and Naruto I think she will readily chose naruto but if sasuke turns good and fights alongside naruto and then both of them are in life-death situation I think then she won't chose anyone until naruto like always sacrifice himself saying and compelling her to leave him and save sasuke!! Moreover i don't think their is much of a role left for sakura now! The only role i feel she has now is to chose naruto over sasuke with pure feelings and not half heartedly!!

*edit*- By the way she already have chosen Naruto because she got kind of ready to kill sasuke just to stop sasuke from becoming more evil as well as saving naruto from his burden!! Moreover if she choses sasuke in the end it will be very bad since if she really loved sasuke she would not have left hope for sasuke and not left all her faith on naruto!!

It was in the same episode. He just used it to demonstrate a point, he didn't actually intend to kill anyone. No, she wasn't ready. She hesitated, and that was the point.

I don't understand what from would naruto have to save her from if she was in place of sasuke! Yes if the conditions of sakura were same or even similar to that of sasuke then naruto definitely would have gone and done anything in his power to bring her back and then we would have got even more of trying because he also loves sakura romantically and not only friendly

But their is no point discussing what he would have done because sakura don't have any such problem of hatred and i don't think she will have any such problem!

Still.think about it.it wouldn't be realistic if Naruto loves Sakura for the whole thing and at the end just stops loving Sakura because of some "realization"and starts loving someone else,besides who else would Naruto love?They can't introduce a new character and Naruto falls for her,because NaruSaku has history,and if that did happen it would be so unrealistic that most people would just stop watching it. thats what would happen to that girl anyway.

I think there's plenty more for Sakura to do in this manga, pother than simply being pairing fodder. While I have no doubt in my mind that she will ultimately have to make a choice between Naruto and Sasuke, I think there's an ever more important task for that she must complete first and is to surpass Tsunade, or at least to get over the self-esteem issues that have plagued her since pretty much since day one. I think that once she proves to herself, that she is in fact a "good person" and also a powerful shinobi, then she will be able to make the right choice. But what is the right choice is, nobody knows yet, not even Sakura herself.

Actually atleast I would not have liked the idea of narusaku to happen if sakura would have to do something only in the end! The part where naruto's feeling for any other girl including hinata is different from sakura's feelings towards naruto is that naruto never came closer to any other girl other than sakura and always loved her whereas sakura won't be doigng a 360 turn if she choses naruto in the end because she came a lot closer to naruto during part 2 which may have lead to formation of romantic feelings of sakura towards naruto!!

Therefore we expecting sakura to chose naruto is totally different from naruto chosing any other girl! The only point valid is sakura's realization of love towards naruto has got pretty late and complicated!

Therefore if sakura choses naruto it will not turn out to be very shocking for people whereas in other pairings


naruto choosing hinata or other girl- very shocking since he is title character and doing complete 360 turn especially after loving sakura for so long and his nindo that is never give up


And i hope
sasuke choosing sakura will also be a complete 360 turn in his character since he never ever thought about sakura that way moreover he never deeply cared for her any time!!

I agree with you there Sakura really wants a chance to prove herself as good as Tsunade.As for her choice,I think everyone's worrying to much about that now instead of thinking about the ever present problem of Sakura's "worth" in her own eyes.

Is true that we get from the anime team Hinata centric feelings for Naruto, that are only Hinata centric feelings for Naruto interpreted by the shippers as NH moments.

You cannot say the same about Naruto and Sakura they both see the other in a romatic light.
Part one the buge beetle (water fall) episode was destroyed by the (Jiraiya,Sakura and Naruto rescue and fake Kabuto episode), part two 166, 167 filler was destroyed by the the rasen shuriken training and episode 235 filler.

The endings 12, 13, and 21 was destroyed by endong 19 and 16 and still there's a lot more that focus more on NS.

Bisides all of the movies are focus more on NS hints, there is no movie that focus on NH hins at all, also Sakura jealousy, she always get angry when another girl show interest in Naruto, Manga, anime, and movies, but when Sakura gifs naruto a tender hug the other girl is happy for them .

NH, SS focus combined are greater because of Hinata fans in the studio, but NS hins are a lot more clearer and solid.
So imagine if the Studio animator weren't Hinata fans.

No she wasn't going to kill Naruto she freaked out and hesitated, she obviously doesn't want to kill him. And I think it was chapter 6 or 7 don't remember well.

If I have one wish in all of this, it would be for Kishimoto to show that it was never a simple matter of Sakura's choice, as though it's all about her getting her way. After all, I, for the longest time, never really believed that she deserved either of them. I appreciated Naruto turning her down that first time, because it was a humbling response that brought her back to reality. She was forced to realize that she's not to be considered a prize by default, that her acknowledging his advances isn't to be considered an honor. It's as much a matter of whether or not she deserves him as it is whether or not he deserves her.

I think it would've been better if Sasuke was actually the female instead of Naruto. Is not very often when the rival of a main male character is actually a girl, and you already know everyone would be pairing those two if that was the case. Sasuke never deserved her love, yet she gave it freely. And if that's what she was meant to think on after Naruto turned her down, if she finally understands that she doesn't deserve Naruto's love by default, then she took one more step toward earning it.

Love isn't about who "deserves" who. It's about two people forming an intimate relationship by accepting each other for who they are. That means embracing both someones's good sides and someone's bad sides. Naruto and Sakura have both done that. The only question remaining now is if they're both willing to take their relationship to the next stage.

A good start would be to just have a nice, honest, long (I think Kishi may not go for that though) conversation about everything that has happened to them over the course of the series, how they feel, how they want to feel in the future, where are they in the present, where do they want to be in the future. If Kishi could just give me something like that (the end result does not even need them to be canon), I would be satisfied.

All I want out of this whole thing is just an honest answer from both sides of what they want and if they want the same thing on the same level, then they are going to go for it. What's stopping them?
