[Verilance]

so still playing Tales of Hearts r mostly on my way to and from work on the bus (when not listening to podcasts) made it back to the flying whale and having an enjoyable time though the battle with Icarose was a bit sad :(

 

my son bought Kingdom Hearts 2.5 remix so all of our playthroughs to complete the trophy collection on the other games are on hold until he 100% that.

How about we start with naming your favorite male and female character from the series you've played so far and also your favorite pairing. I'll start: 

Phantasia- male Cless, female Arche pairing Chester/Arche (this pairing has more chemistry than Cless/Mint).

Abyss: male Jade(I just love his sarcasm and humor), female Tear pairing Luke/Tear( best damn pairing in Tales series).

Symphonia- male Zelos, female Martha pairing Zelos/Sheena (the usual pairing of the pervert and the tsundere).

Vesperia- male Raven (another character I love because of his humor), female Rita (what can I say I love tsundere characters), pairing don't have one in particular.

Graces f- male Hubert, female Sophie (I love her the first time I saw her and when I find out her desire to become human I just cried manly tears), pairing Hubert/Pascal (hands down.

Xillia- male Ludger, female Elize (she's cute, adorable and Teepo's hilarious, bazoongas lol).

Let's See...I'll just do characters (and it's razor thin for most games as one thing I like about the Tales series is that I like almost all the  characters a lot, so it was really hard to choose.), since I have no pairing preferences.

 

Destiny: Leon; Chelsea.

Abyss: Jade, Tear

Symphonia: Lloyd; Sheena (I paired the two when I played, but I don't have a strong preference except that I hate Zelos/Sheena).

Xillia: Jude, Leia

Graces f: Richard, Cheria

Xillia 2: Ludger, Milla

 

I have hearts, but have not started playing it yet. I just got my Vita and was doing Persona 4 Golden.

Well....In most Tales game...I don't care for pairings but I'll give it a try

Symphonia: Male Zelos, Female Colette (I like everyone in Symphonia)  Pairings I guess you could say Lloyd and Colette

Zesteria seems to be suffering from Naruto: The last type negativity from the fanbase for misleading advertising. Where the Last was promoted with Sasuke, Kakashi and Team Seven dynamic when actual movie had non of that, Zesteria was promoted heavily with Alisha as the main heroine only for her to be a minor charactor with only between 3-6 hours as a playable charactor. Then to add salt to the wound, Namco announce the DLC with Alisha as the heroine.

 

I really don't know what Japan is upto right now, they appear like they're almost deliberately trying to screw over the fanbase and ruin their franchises. It's like the looked at the west and saw how companies like EA and Activision are always getting negative press yet still selling, and decided that pissing off the fanbase must sell in the west so it will work for them, not realising the reason these companies get negative press.

Yeah I heard about that. But I'll decide whether or not it's a good game when I actually play it.

After I get done with the bar exam, I'm gonna come back and finish my playthrough of Tales of Symphonia. Am debating over whether to hook Lloyd up with Raine or Sheena. Couldn't stand Colette. Reminded me too much of Hinata! What is it Japan finds so appealing about characters like that? Very boring from my Lloyd's POV.

Not really. Colette might be a bit too much of a Purity Sue but Lloyd is not all that's on her mind at least.

I want to buy Symphonia chronicles but I want to save for Zesteria. Should I wait that long for the game to be localize?

After watching the Zesteria opening, I'm eager to play the game. Looks like the character has a second form, a transformation of some sort. Kinda like Ludger but for every character. Don't know if I'm wrong though. Gonna check it out when I have time.

It's just those two, apparently. Speaking of the opening, I think it's by far the best opening in the franchise yet. I like how it's so different from the previous titles.
