No one says it like you. No need to overreact, people. It is obvious that she still holds feelings for him. Before this, we were all saying that, now we suddenly say she forgot about him? It would be stupid to not have it resolved and over with. I admit I didn't exactly think about it that way, but I agree that a resolution is needed. I still go by my side-to-side thing though.

Wow, you being a NaruHina fan at first converting over to the NaruSaku side just strengthens my faith in this pairing, plus I agree with everything you stated. Couldn't of said it better myself

LOL, thanks. I still kind of laugh about the NaruHina thing. Just the other day I was looking through my hard drive and found a entire library of NaruHina art. That was a little bit of awkward nostalgia, ha ha.

I'm not abandoning NaruSaku... I simply debated my thoughts and speculations on all of this. And I get accused of switching couples? Hah. I might as well not debate then huh. Seriously dude, chill out. I seriously hope you get it into your head that I support NaruSaku through and through though. This is the first time I took a more critical approach to NaruSaku and their chance of happening, SasuSaku, and whatnot. And I guess I sounded way too SasuSaku or something...? Hah. Idk. whatever. goodbye. if you want to clear up things that bad about you accusing me of being a narusaku abandoner then pm me, I dont wanna tarnish this post for the others.

It's just that you seemed to be butting heads with people making logical observations, and simply waving them off as over-analysis. The thing about this manga is that you can never over-analyze things. It's one of the reasons I like it so much.
And again, I'm sorry if that came across as bashing, I think I'm just a little on edge today what with how everyone's reacting. I'm still at a loss how this one scene seemed to make so many so-called NaruSaku shippers jump ship, considering we've pulled through way worse. But don't worry, Yoshimoya, I won't mistake you for a ship-jumper in the future .

Everyone's on edge about this pairing. It's been like 10 years already! Don't undermine those people who paniced about that one panel because the question that was BIG on everyone's mind was "Who does Sakura love?" It's been on everyone's mind and I can really understand their frustration with not truly knowing. With the recent confession and a lot of speculations going around, we needed confirmation. That one page confirmed it and everyone tripped out (me included). And then I calmed down, and saw a lot of people expressing their frustration and desire to abandon the manga. I didn't want them to look bad so I went to their defense and used logical observations and called upon the mistakes some of us NaruSaku shippers have been making. Multiple times, when I discuss this with other people who are neutral or have a different pairing they support, I throw in some of the content that people here tend to overdue and they all kept telling me that I'm over analyzing. It's not dangerous to do that all the time, but some things have to be taken at face-value only too.

Today is the first time I brought up the over-analysis thing, I never used it excessively to wave people's opinions off. Believe me, I really want to believe some of the content presented from that. I just that it was an issue, as it was for me, got my hopes up too high you know...

As for the 'percentages' post I made earlier, that really must have seemed way too SasuSaku. Sorry for that, I was still feeling really down about what was happening to my favorite couple and just threw it out there. However, now that I think back on it, I don't think much has changed. The manga has yet to be finished and Naruto and Sakura's story/relationship has yet to reach a nice conclusion. I still think anything can happen though.

I think in any type of good story, or manga, it's important to "read between the lines" to get a clearer picture. Because while you know what's happening on the surface, you have to work a bit harder to figure out what's going on under the surface. Any basic literature class will teach you that- it's no different for Naruto.

Ok, after almost twenty minutes of reading I'm finally caught up on just about everything that's been going on, in this topic. Very festive btw, we had thrills, trolls, spills, and even Dr. Cox. Shout out to Scrubs btw.

Anyway, the debate of the majority of the posts from this chapter stems on the whole Sakura/Naruto/Sasuke shipping thing. And I'll admit I cursed outloud like that Nuclear guy did in his video. I was pissed because even though I know the whole Naru/Saku thing is going to come out that swiftly. As a fan for it myself, I'd like to get thrown a bone every once and a while. This thing did the exact opposite.


When the aforementioned statement of Stalker-Nin, "He must be a great guy if you're in love with him."
There could have been three responses:

1. An image of Naruto- Highly unlikely but it would have presented with undeniable proof that her feelings were there and that confession she stated to Naruto was genuine. Everyone here would have been rooting for this one.

2. An image of both Sasuke and Naruto- This to me would have been more likely. Showing that she was conflicted between two of them. And that they both held a deep place in her heart. Sasuke the boy from her past, who she used to love. And Naruto, the boy soon to be man, that her heart was going toward or fell on. It would have stated plainly to everyone that there has been a shift in her heart that Naruto wasn't just the friend/teammate that everyone groups him as. But he actually is a contender for her affections. You get a bit of dynamics going on with this images. This choice as me as a writer myself, would have picked. Just to tease both sides of the fence a bit more. Honestly I was thinking this was going to be the outcome even the last chapter.
Now we finally get to the image that was selected...

3. Sasuke- Now, before I get into this, please know that I'm not abandoning Naru/Saku I still love the pairing and all, but I try to pride myself on being both practical and realistic. I was majorly disappointed with seeing Saskue's face alone. It just struck me as after everything that's happened, that seeing that Uchiha was the sole figure in the panel when the topic is about the guy she's in love with. Now, I've read several I guess you can say the more faithful shippers that state that Sakura wasn't saying she was still in love with Sasuke but she was reflecting on the past and how much she dreaded her feelings or something along those lines. And I'll admit she does look depress during her mental image of Sasuke, but it's not like she snaps out of it with Naruto drifting into another thought in the next panel or page or something. It's just Sasuke and only Sasuke. And that point I can only take things at face value. I see what's on the manga page and I make a face much like Sakura's.

The only other thing I can say is this, where is the line drawn from where there is actual evidence present to the point we're just convincing ourselves that there is evidence there?

Glad to see everyone getting a laugh out of those past chapters. I hope that one day, this will be a laughable chapter too.

This heated thread/debate has really gotten me thinking/reminiscing about all I've been through with this pairing. Pardon me for being a little off topic, but it's really got to me today. I used to only watch the anime so the drama was even more intense for me. The music was so beautiful in Naruto part 1 and I was around the same age as Naruto in part 1 and crushing on a scarily similar to Sakura girl. So similar it was scary. However, I don't have what Naruto and Sakura have. Naruto has truly become amazing in my eyes. As for me and my 'Sakura', no where near Naruto. So I'm very happy for him.

I regret what I said about this manga being horrible, I was just utterly shocked with Sakura still being in love with Sasuke when I convinced myself it was Naruto all this time. Their relationship is just too beautiful to not be so passionate about for me. I remember seeing Sakura run frantically across the bridge (part 1) to go to the side of a fallen Sasuke. Naruto had just defeated Haku and was clutching his heart in agony. Sadness and sorrow, I believe, then played and at that moment my heart throbbed with just that, sadness and sorrow. I felt myself in Naruto's shoes and saw how much he loved Sakura. What made me bawl was when Sakura shouted "Sasuke! Sasuke!! SASUKKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WAHHH! I was at a loss for words at the pain in her voice and the beauty of that entire moment. The music, the love, the pain. Such love portrayed in that scene.

Sorry guys, I almost forgot what made me love NaruSaku so much, no... this whole manga. Themes lie deep in this story, a mere scan over it won't allow you to see all that. I really believe in this story again... friendship, leadership, perseverance, heartbreak, love, all of it. You can find it here in this story. Naruto shivered at the sound of Sakura's cry in that scene I mentioned above ^ such a loving/painful cry he thought I bet... I really hope see these characters pick themselves up further and smile in the end.

It would have make an awesome love story had this not been for a manga which is suppose to target the youth...and personally I'm very disappointed at the message it conveys with Sakura still "loving" Sasuke - it's definitely NOT the message that should be sent to millions girls, to love someone despite him being physically and emotionally abusive.

I am stumped because I thought (and hoped) that by now Sakura should have been very clear in her mind that she is over Sasuke...But conversely, my admiration for her has increased. She has set a very hard path for herself, and I'm really looking forward to see how she will come to terms with herself.

And to conclude, I'm still hard and fast a Narusaku fan, because this is the ideal couple.
