Ahhh.... nothing better than a good cup of freshly milked silver spoon.... (bad joke, I know tongue.gif)

From the looks of it, I think Hachiken is definitely going to become a teacher at the end of the series at Yezo high.

It's funny how Mikage is worried about making things tough for Hachiken, but he's having fun looking up horse-related books in the library. XD

I liked the little bits of HachiMika in this chapter as well. wink.gif

It's certainly possible that Hachiken could be a teacher, but he may not be 100% keen on the idea of teaching as a career. Plus, they think he would overwork the kids. tongue.gif We'll have to see what happens as the story develops.

Are we going to see Hachiken sneaking into his family home next chapter? He actually made the effort to call his brother for Mikage's sake, now will he risk facing his father for the sake of her future?

Poor Hachiken. XD;

First he has to restrain himself after Mikage tells him she would do "anything" to help him. Of course, her father would kill him. tongue.gif

Then he has to bump into his own father, AND his mother returns from her shopping. What a double ambush.

He still needs to learn that he should never boast about tutoring a girl. tongue.gif

I'm not sure I would want to eat that home-made yogurt... I know it's a sealed container, but the method of making it doesn't sit that well with me.

Hachiken's dad is pretty funny in his own way, too. Somehow him looking all menacing while holding a plumb over his shoulder makes me giggle.

I like the anime designs. Although, I have to say Hachiken looks different; more... mature?

Hopefully it'll get released on Crunchyroll. smile.gif

The anime will probably catch up fast, but I wouldn't mind filler stories if they were well-written. They could just expand more on farming life, the classes, the horses, and Hachiken's many responsibilities.

OK finally read th manga, can't say the setting is all that appealing but Arakawa-Sensie does a great job with her story telling and the humour that it the you learn to accept the setting. I wonder if the Mangaka has a issue with her height? Both FMA and SS has humour about the little people.

So is the anime a 13/23 parter or a one going weekly thing like Naruto?

Can't say I agree with the dad though..... Don't like him. but at least Hachiken is understands what he is doing now something and his mom came over to re counsile
