I'm so nervous tbh.
When it comes, just sit back, grab some popcorn, and enjoy the show.

Agreed. Reading the Pain arc really does show the man's skills only when he actually has A GODDAMN PLAN!!!! I actually liked his Mario one-shot. I am definitely hoping that will be his next series.I almost feel like a weight is being lifted off my shoulders with this news.
I actually hope this won't be the case. I'd like to see what Kishimoto can do with a fresh start (and with a full-fledged plan this time, which he was evidently missing in Naruto). There are some good qualities to his writing, and I'd like to see those qualities have an opportunity to shine without being weighed down by the bad.

how exactly is he going to finish the manga in 5 chapters....
NaruSasu bromance and open ending.
HADOUKEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
With this story will be made as Kishimoto being a man whom ruined his own work in a single arc.
It should have ended in Pain's arc because everything went downhill from there.

I heard the final chapter will have 39 pages. I believe that is the wrap-up chapter. The series will end with the sn fight, then 39 pages of conclusion.

you're joking right? That's the only realistic explanation.
No I'm not joking. I thought you were the one joking. Throwing that SP is doing better art than Kishi. For god's sake...

They have...the only thing their department is failing on is animation....everything their doing including pairings has been done better.

I'm not sure to understand what you mean, but from what I understand, I don't agree at all.

You hit the nail on the head with these posts. I don't see Kishimoto moving away from this series and making something as successful as Naruto. He will be like Toriyama as he will probably be making short series while at the same time working with SP on Naruto movie projects. I also sense a feint with the whole 'shocking ending'. Also if this movie will be the conclusion of the Naruto series, it's kind of unfair for us Western fans who won't be able to see this movie until next year.
So true!! I didn't think of that, but concluding the series in a movie really spoils it for the rest of his non-Japanese audience. It will be translated poorly in web posts, then pirated copies will pop up, still untranslated. The dubs will be released for different languages spread out over a year (with English being a full year). Talk about a let down, right?
'Well, Naruto ended...but I won't be able to find out what happened until 2016 when the movie is finally dubbed.... *sob*'
I hope Kishimoto doesn't go this route. It would be a total disregard of his international readers.

No no no . The manga should not end in the movie . I agree kishi should do something different but not something this lame. I mean come on! What about us. We ll have blank untill 2016!!! Thats seriously lame
If he planed it to end in a movie why wasting his time on the manga for 15 years!!!! Just to say go u ll get the **** in the movie!!! What will be the meaning of this? Where is The legacy of the manga in this idea?
i dont think the manga will even end in the damn movie...cause from what ive read somewhere on tumblr(altough i dont know if the source is legit, but it looks like it),the plot for the last it appears to be an alternate plot with the moon eye plan ,obito and madara fight...at least fom what ive read from that resume, its highly unlikely to be a sequel, its similar to rtn plot sort of ..that IF the source is legit...so its even less likely for a pairing to become canon in the movie

It seems like there will be a sequel/ spin-off for the series after it's ended. Perhaps similar to Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball GT?
Yeah there will be. I got a confirmation from Mr. T

I was on Anime News Network just a couple minutes ago, and this apparently came up
Link to the article: http://www.animenews...-project/.79819
The titled of the article reads "Naruto Manga Countdown Site Teases "New Project".
From what I read it says that this is "the start of a new huge project" when the manga ends on November 10th.
It either has to do with Naruto's New Era Opening Project, or it might something else. I think it'll have something to do with The New Era Opening Project.

So they're going to make another series like a spin off and Kishimoto won't be part of it? Oh boy somehow I smell NH and SS happening in said series because that way all the fandoms are happy. NS becomes canon in the manga and in the "Last". So they decide to make the other pairings canon in this new project.
