NH happened when they were kids. Which is why Naruto thought she was a dark weird girl.

 

Point is, most of the things are left up in the air and are only being shown as one way, when it could mean something else entierly.

 

 

After he had kids :

The kids ask Naruto "how you start to love my mom (hinata)"  

Naruto reply them " Actually I'm in love with girl named Sakura for all my life but bc I rescued your mom's sister I fall in love with her "  LOLOL

What do you expect us to do? This story ends one week from now, this movie is canon, it's about "love", there's a kittenload of Hinata wanking, some Naruto reactions to Hinata, Sakura seemingly supporting NH, random flashbacks about Naruto and Hinata that were retconned, Naruto and Hinata are together in pictures while Naruto and Sakura are apart, it's a Hyuuga movie, the villain wants the Hyuuga dead, Sakura confessed to Sasuke in 693, NaruHina this, NaruHina that, NaruHina up your ass, it's as if the whole movie, the events leading up the stories end, and the repeated advertisements were CONTRIVED to kitten over the "Naruto & Sakura Fanclub" SPECIFICALLY (no other type of fandom, including non-pairing ones) with absolutely no remorse.

 

It already seems like it would take a miracle for our pairing to become canon, some people just can't help but to throw in the towel. The least we could do is wait for next week's chapters to see if our ship has sunk, has become canon, or if it has any chances in the future.

You imply that this movie is above the manga... If NH happens in this movie, we'll have the manga to go read? Give me a break. The manga is what matters in the end. This movie and the manga are connected. Are you missing this? Also, how is this the finale to his 15 year story? It's most likely expansion of the story in the future. Will Naruto and Sasuke fight in this movie so Naruto can save Sasuke from the darkness? Wait, that already happened in the manga

The movie is the end of Naruto's story. It's been promoted to the death based on this fact and Kishimoto even gave a statement in regards to this. So really, the movie and manga are the same thing, because at the end of the day it's all written by the original author and set in the canonical universe.

Please, don't be patronising. I'm trying to remind everyone that the beauty of narusaku remains, irregardless of it becoming canon or not.

It seems like you are trying to argue that because the movie and manga are connected, there is no possibility of naruhina becoming canon. No, a fictional story is not science, the author has the right to add retcons if he wants to. Besides, we've yet to see 699/ 700. Maybe Naruto will confess and; maybe Naruto will not confess and spend the chapter eating noodles worn Team 7 and Iruka. What we do know is that Naruto and Sakura are definitely not together in the events of The Last.

Ofcourse Sasuke ending up as an enemy vagabond is a complete slap in the face to 698. But he's simply a more useful character as Naruto's frenemy than an actual ally.

This actually seems like the type of thing Studio Pierrot would tell Kishimoto to do. If NaruHina wins, that means he never gave a kitten about our pairing or he gave in to the rabid NaruHina fanbase from Jump Festa 2010.

Something I noticed when rewatching the trailer:

 

1- We also had Sasuke's line about having to protect someone, because "he" isn't there. 

 

2- They referred to it as "kanketsu-hen" or some variation thereof, which means that it's like the final act of the story or involved with it somehow. I don't know in which context, since I don't understand much Japanese.

Naruto's "wait for me" quote is to Hinata.  "Do you remember? About that time? (when they were kids) I have something I must tell you... wait for me"

Naruto says "I've realized something I should protect..." when he looks at Hinata in that sun scene.

I think you need to calm down, I don't think you people realize how road to ninja was when you keep spouting the "AU PLOT" nonsesne when we didn't know the details back then. let me freaking tell you, EVERYONE, and I mean EVERYONE thought road to ninja meant narusaku was dead here before the movie came out, or just about everyone, and looked what freaking happened? take this movie with a grain of salt and quit taking it so seriously!!!
