I watched some Code Geass episodes before, and I just remembered that I always wanted Lelouche and Kallen to be together. Are there some good moments of Lelouche x Kallen in season 2 ? XD

It is not. Nonetheless, the story is open ended enough for one to interpret it that way! Especially when one learns the REASON he doesn't reciprocate.

He was purposely putting himself up to be the most hated person in the world (pretty much the equivalent to Hitler) and didn't want her to be dragged into that. So he intentionally didn't react to her kissing him as a means of protecting her. As a result, he dies and she lives on. Hence, Kallen's character poem at the end:

Apparently! So if anything becomes canon, Lelouch x Kallen has the most going for it at the moment.

I still don't get why season 3 has to be made. I thought it ended well enough despite the train wreck season 2 went through. Oh well, money does speak. I don't hate the series nor dislike but forgot what year it was, it was the most disappointing anime.

I was stuck between Kallen and Shirley tbh. I think they both captured different sides of him, but that maybe Shirley would've been a good fit had he just lived a normal life without getting a Geass.

All of season 2's failures can be attributed to executive meddling. The director had a way different vision than what we ultimately got.

This is all fine and dandy, but Dragonball is starting to suffer from what caused Naruto's downfall.....fanboys.

This is especially true lately when you have fights like "Goku vs Superman" or "Goku vs Saitama." The fanboys have been more or less ruining the series that I thought was good back in the day, but ever since "God mode" and so much other stuff...it's like "Goku can never lose EXCEPT to the people in his own show."

I mean, these are the kind of people who say that OP super heroes are boring because they don't power struggle, but when Goku gets all powerful somehow, suddenly it is okay to be OP. Another thing they say is a double standard of the show with Goku always struggling, but yet say Goku can beat anybody and has infinite power. You can't have it both ways.

With Superman and Saitama, these are different characters with different story types yet the fanboys can't seem to grasp this concept.

People forget that there is more to stories than just "Who is the most powerful?" or that there are more than jsut power struggles of who is the strongest and overcoming your opponent. Sometimes the struggle is with yourself and your own power. I don;t get why noone understand this concept as much anymore.

Either they are like Goku and always struggling in everything OR you are a boring character. If they don't power struggle, then they don't struggle at all. Or at least that is what they say.

To ask a simple question: When has Goku ever questioned his morality or ever met a villain in a grey area scale? What if Goku fought a villain who was technically right with what they are doing, How would Goku solve those problems?

Goku fanboys: "He would jsut power-up and blow the person away with Kamehameha wave."

To be far James you have fanboys in everything now no matter where you go you will have that one fan that will think they know everything and that you are wrong all shows have them some are just more crazy than most.

 

I mean look at Pokemon with Red fanboys saying that Red is the best pokemon trainer ever to live, when in fact we are Red we did the things that he done, its got so crazy that Red fanboys bash Ash for no reason other than he does not win that is not Ash's fault its just the writers who don't want to age him.

 

Then you have the Star wars fanboys who say the original trilogy is the best and everything else is just stupid and not needed many bash clone Wars and rebles cause Luke and Han were not in them.

 

I do blame Death battle for this who would win in a fight with Goku and Superman now I am not a Superman fan more of a Batman fan myself cause that is what I watched as a kid, but me I don't care who wins in a fight I just like seeing bad guys get their ass handed them and what Villians they will have to face, now I do like some of the Superman Villians as I do the Batman ones.

 

Now with villain in a grey area scale to me man writers need to handle that very carefuly, or you will get something like Naruto in which its just to make us feel sorry for them and I got kittening sick of that kitten, more so with the whole Uchiha kitten that Kishi dumped on us to make us pity them.

 

Now some shows can handle this very well I mean I remember Justice leauge that had villains in a grey area scale and they handle it well not just cartons either, doing something like this needs time to do and well thought out planning and a villain in a grey area scale does not always work for all shows some are just simple with good guys and bad guys, it just depends in what Show/anime/manga a villain in a grey area scale would fit in.

 

As for Goku well he is a dumb ass even I will admit he is very stupid one thing I can say is Superman is far smarter than Goku then agin everyone is smarter than Goku.

 

Another good one is the Walking dead as its full of grey ares which is why I love the Walking dead more so Negan he is just fun to watch.

Watch codement abridged by purpleyesWTF it's really good and funny. I haven't watch all of it yet but what I did I like both lelouch with c.c and kallen but if I had to choose I'd say kallen should have gotten with lelouch.

Agreed grey areas can be done well given the writer and story like sensui from yu Yu hakuso, or greed or scar from full metal alchemists. The uchiha in that grey area done well was itachi up til that revelation obito told us that turned him into a ripoff of the boss also wolverine has been in that grey area and magneto and their amazing characters unlike sasuke or obito.
I'm split on who I like more with batman or superman cause I watched both as a kid. But I'd have to say batman.
I still can't sympathize with some genocidal psychos like sasuke and obito were portrayed as. They are not heroes neither is madara.
Clone wars has been good so far and I'm only on season three and I hear rebels is good. I can watch star wars even if Luke or Han in it. I'm going enjoy the last Jedi even Han being dead.

gosh i hate/despise goku with a burning passion now. probably more than naruto, idk. even if he had told the omniking "hey lets just say you'll erase them just so they wont hold back" its the most d ick ish and selfish move i have ever seen any protagonist do. Glad his fanboys are still salty over his rightful loss over a fan made battle. bunch of crybabies whining over their dumbass "hero".

Sadly at last 2 episode of season 2 , Kallen always stuck with Gino ... i knew the moment they standing together that almost like Sasuke and Sakura scene when Sakura about to faint after healing Obito , Sasuke hold her, and just like Rukia stuck with Renji , just like Ichigo stuck with Inoue at last battle, (i'm starting to believe this is how the way japanese manga tells you that whoever couple stuck together during near ending it means they will end up together).. Also Lelouch according to Wiki choose solitary life because accident with Shirley so hes heart close , he also promise C.C that hes gonna give her Happiness. It's also hinted Kallen already moved from Lelouch on at the ending of season 2 , at Ogi wedding picture and PV she always standing next to Gino. But during last battle between C.C and Kallen , the way Kallen talk said that C.C loves Lelouch and the way C.C lose ad said "You win" ... DAMN .... The author did really good job to make confusion. But when i see Kallen put a big picture of Lelouch in the front wall of her desk and Narrating the epilogue ... my excitement still burning like fire , really want Lelouch x Kallen so bad .

 

Edit : Her feelings were also hinted in Code Geass R2 Miraculous Birthday where the student council members experience Lelouch where she tried to make Lelouch praise her. At the ending, she cried, "Idiot, now I can't forget you even when I want to!"

I don't know if that Picture Drama were count as cannon or just a joke ...

My favourite pairings for CG are Lulu X Kallen and Lulu X C.C. I don't care what the writers say the Lelouch X C.C. moments are pretty romantic to me

 

I HATE Lulu X Shirley though, Shirley reminds me of someone
