Scenarios like this — where naruto is brought home drunk by is probably equally drunk buddies only to have to sleep it off on the couch — speak more of modern life than it does of Naruto's universe.

 

For me, I don't see Naruto or Hinata, their love or lack thereof, or even a storyline that reflects life in Naruto's weird modern timeline after marriage. I only see Kishimoto and the others creating real-life situations and slapping Naruto and the others' faces on them.

 

So this is what happens: All the guys out drinking. The wifey at home worrying. The main hero too drunk to make it home. So the party delivers him to the doorstep. It's all good clean fun. But the image of him on the couch shows that the wife is secretly not best pleased, and still rules at home. So the hero is still a bit of a bad boy and has to pay for his fun, and the next day it's back to work.

 

So nothing from the lines above would make you think of Naruto the manga. If the faces of the characters were erased, there is nothing in the pictures that would make you think of a ninja manga set in a post-fuedal Japan. 

 

All it does is remind me of how Kishimoto (and whoever is doing Boruto) are no longer writing Naruto. Just something that has the same character faces, the same names. But everything else is a pale copy. I don't even think about shipping or the characters anymore. There is just nothing 'Naruto' about Naruto anymore!

I'm not even an ns fan, I'm neutral, but I know they'll even do it to me since they always treat me like an ns fan just because I agree with you guys, which drove me to this site in the first place, to get away from those jerks. they're so rabid you can't say naruto and sakura in the same sentence without it meaning you're an ns fan, even when you're not even talking about pairings whatsoever, its retarded. that's what they did to me on youtube in 2011 and I got sick of it then fancynancypigs invited me here and I talked about naruto only here after that avoiding their fandoms.

Agreed most of naruto not showing but telling. I find naruto and Sakura to be the opposite since those two have great chemistry and can play off each other.

Meaning before they had the excuse that he was swamped with work as the hokage. Which is probably was the case since kishimoto probably made that one shot out of spite to the ending by that point. So they quickly made that image to justify: "No, Naruto has not fallen out of love with Hinata (shown by sleeping in his office), and it utterly miserable (as shown with how he behaves in the one shot.)It's just... uh ... he has a hangover...YES! YES! THAT'S IT! HE WAS OUT LAST NIGHT DRINKING HIMSELF INTO A STUPOR!!! That why he was sleeping in his office, and look utterly miserable throught out the entire story! He just had a hangover. Even thought he showed no signs of having one. You all just seeing him on an off-day. That's it. Normally he's just so none-stop in love with his wife that they even have sex in front of the kids or going around the village that's how much they are totally in love with each other they are. Don't worry everyone, he'll be back to what he should be; once we get into the Boruto anime. And decided what the story-line is for ourselves."

Funny thing is that the fact that Naruto, someone who is normally "pure", and more than likely would not do something that you would expect from Kakashi, Jiraiya, Asuma, or other previous generation adults, gets so hammered in the first place in of itself probably means there's something wrong. Getting a little buzzed is one thing, but getting drop dead drunk like the image shows? Yeah...even Tsunade, who is practically a freaking sake addict who, as we had learned, spent a lot of time drinking while wandering around with Shizune, never got that drunk in all the times we've seen her, yet we're supposed to believe that Naruto drunk so much more than her?

There's also the fact that Kurama, from all we've seen, is one who would want to keep Naruto's body as healthy as possible and so you would think that Kurama's chakra would help filter any alcohol to prevent any potential damage to Naruto's systems and yet, again as the image shows, that clearly didn't happen. So what, did the new guy just forget or ignore this?

There's also the fact that even if one were to accept the image, that still doesn't justify or explain all the crap involving Naruto after. He clearly showed to have the energy to do stuff and still avoided the family.

Simple my friend because they know the truth. They know NH is a horrible pairing but they will never admit it and what's the best way to ventilate their anger than on the NS fans  .They have known it ever since the end of the manga but their pride is bigger than their ego so its better to ignore it and continue disrespecting the opposite fandom. They will never admit that NS makes more sense than their pairing (not in a million years). For me at this point, I don't care I moved on from this crap of a manga three years ago.
