looks like you're finally catching on xD took long enough lol that's exactly what's going on, sakura thinks she feels something when she actually doesn't, because of naruto, now think road to ninja, how the limited tsukiyomi worked out,how they thought they felt something but learned what was wrong with it, think infinite tsukiyomi happened, now think sakura just being caught in a rinnegan genjutsu. i think its obvious to you now.

To be honest, you guys are really looking at this all wrong. Kishimoto didn't ruined Sakura and her development. He ruined the ENTIRE MANGA STORY in just one chapter regressing everyone and everything to a time back when things were bad. Any pairing at this point would be so hard to believe whether it be NH, NS, or SS. The differences are in how much bull it would take to make it happen with NS being the least to make it bull.

Kishimoto took all of the development Sakura made throughout the manga and just threw it away. Didn't even care or make a blink and is constantly avoiding all the logical reasons why she should be over it by now.
Naruto is also seen a lovesick puppy over Sasuke and he doesn't shut up about it. Everyone else whether it be friend, love, etc is just second to him and always will be. It also makes him a god damn hypocrite and a liar. Didn't he say that the PoaL was no longer valid, now all of sudden it is again? What the hell? I don't even care that it is still active, but the fact that Kishi did a 180 and reversed it just when he said it is not longer about it is mind blowing.
Kakashi has turned into a senile old fool now who has no clue what the hell he is talking about and all the stuff he said earlier makes no sense.

Sasuke is the number 1 guy in this entire manga for little to no reason at all. Really, at this point, why wasn't the manga named Sasuke?
Sasuke is the ONLY one who looks good right now...and that's bad because he is supposed to be bad. He is supposed to be the bad things and his development is the only thing that looks good right now.

Ino looks like a weak tramp right now.
Hinata looks like a weak, selfish, pathetic girl who we know is not going to do anything anymore and is going to be behind the curtain because Naruto only cares about Sasuke when he is on the field
Karin looks just as pathetic as Sakura and Hinata and she has it even worse.

All the pairings? Forget it. Hardly anything will make sense IF this keeps up.

NaruSaku? You would need to make Naruto drop Sasuke, which he will never do, and you need to make Sakura drop Sasuke which Kishimoto is unwilling to do for whatever reason.
SasuSaku? You need to make Sasuke do a MASSIVE heel turn to make this even a possibility. MASSIVE. I mean so massive that it would have to break the laws of physics just even attempting it. Superman flying around the Earth to reverse time makes more sense than this.
NaruHina? Forget it, Naruto needs to make a heel turn and change who he is as a character in order for this one to occur. He needs to drop Sakura, drop Sasuke, and drop being Hokage for it and we know he is not going to do either one of those. And let's face it, if Kishimoto can't even make Sakura give up her love for Sasuke, how can he make Naruto give up his? It also would break the entire "never give up" concept he tried to establish with Naruto.
SasuKarin? I don't even need to say this one.

So much damage on a massive global scale throughout the story....so much damage in one little chapter....

I will says this. NS still has the highest chance, but it all depends on Kishimoto making that risk to change Sakura who she is. If Kishimoto doesn't have the guts to do it, then forget it no pairing will ever be canon because he will never change anyone.

I am not even thinking of NaruSaku right now. I am not even worried about it. I am more worried about the entire story at this point.

This chapter made no sense. Not one bit.

But yeah, i believe you are right, i forgot Sasuke's Rinnegan is not the same as other ones. 

Actually that is a mistake on their part since in the manga its never stated what kind of Rinengan is needed  but only a Rinengan  but yeah Sasuke has one like Kaguya , Hagoromo and the Juubi  and it does explains its abilities very good . Also Rinengan is an evolve form of the Saringan  you don't need a Sharingan and a Rinengan so you can cast a Genjutsu  it doesn't work that way  in this case one eye doesn't affect the other .

Can we all just drop this pairing discussions and talk about the more positive things? Like the upcoming, most anticipated event this manga has to offer- the Naruto-Sasuke fight???....

Agree with this. 

 

NS will be canon no doubt, but I can't see it being as well written as I once thought it would be.  Fans will be forced to think of complicated explanations and hope Kishimoto meant it that way. Anything to make the execution of NS seem satisfactory.

Hmmm.. You are the third or fourth member here to say something like this. I guess not many care about the fight.  Probably because everyone knows what the outcome will be, right?

There is a way for this to be saved and still somewhat make sense. The bench scene. We need the bench scene to really be brought up now. Kishimoto can no longer step around it. Sakura's words about "if he still has a soft spot for her somewhere in his heart" really urked me, but it just hit me. When has Sasuke ever shown a soft spot for Sakura before? Never, EXCEPT when Naruto dressed up as Sasuke and showed her kindness. That is the only time. I thought this was Sakura being delusional, but it was actually Naruto who tricked her from the beginning. Naruto screwed it up for himself with it.

If that bench scene comes into play and Sakura realizes that her entire emotional views was a lie, then maybe...just maybe this can be saved and not be an asspull or bull. MAYBE. Granted, this will not fix everything, but it can somewhat make sense of most of it all and tie back into the story that Kishimoto is trying so desperately to do.

I think this is the best hope we can for this story to make a good ending. Not just for NS, but for everything.
 

The other half of the Kyuubi is still in Naruto. Yes, Sasuke can genjutsu the tailed beast, but he cannot genjutsu the tailed beats inside it;s jinchuuriki. Even Madara couldn't do that. That's why Naruto can fight it.

 

Well since he's revisiting the very first chapters, I think he will come to it. But I think he has done too much damage with this chapter. I really don't understand what he is thinking...

I know someone has probably mentioned this 1000 times, but didn't Sasuke tear Sakura's heart apart 2 times in this chapter. Not just once, because he also hit her heart in the genjutsu. He used Chidori and hit her DIRECTLY in the heart. I can't be crazy to say that is Sasuke's way of telling her to get over him....

Yeah, but I am still in a huge debate with myself. My emotional side...and my logical one. Right now, I tucked my emotional side away because as you can see it's not happy. My logical side though is like "Something isn't right..." and trying to figure it all out.

If I can put this metaphorically, it's like putting a round peg into a square hole. It fits and the round peg can go through it, but there is all this space in the corners that are leaving holes. Why? Well, obviously that means that the answer isn't the peg I am holding. So we need to find the square peg to fill in all the spaces correctly. So now I am looking for pieces with corners in a dark room.

If the answer is as straight forward as "Sakura loves Sasuke, so SasuSaku is canon," why is it leaving so many things open?

I'm trying my best to get a grip,it's just that my heart can't stop paining from that slash.

 

It's not any case of idiocy or not knowing what he's doing with his manga,it's just like he don't care anymore and adopts lame ways to solve things.

 

But i have to add,he is senseless in strong cases like romance(which includes yaoi),forgiveness,uchihas and morals.

If that is how it goes, then allow me to be the first to bow to you. Of course, I still think Kishi could have written things a lot better, but I can't help that now.

LOL everything else is true is just that they named the Rinengan like this  since its not given an name nothing is false  lol but sure reread those chapters and you will see that its a Genjutsu by the Rinengan  .

 

As for Nagato its bc the Rinengan isn't his original eye and bc of that he can't awaken the full potential of it unlike Madara the eye is always stronger when its used by the original owner .

I don't think he's pro SS

I have a clear opinion on Kakashi.

I think Kakashi sees himself in Sasuke, and he understands Sakura because of Rin.

And I think Kakashi is trying to brain up Sasuke while explaining things to him.
