^I think the beginning of the end is about to truly begins. We got that depressing look of Sakura out of the way for the time being since she got the memo that Sasuke truly not a team player. Things will start to change differently now starting with this formation of Obito, Naruto (clone), and Sakura. I guess it may be best for her before Sasuke heel turn that is pretty much inevitable once all other dangers are out. If Sasuke is against them, we can't get a development of Sakura seeing Sasuke not being a team player because well, he's against them. This is the closest we can get to see co-op, even if they are not.

People can argue all they want. Sakura's confession was NOT fake. She's not a b*tch. It's not in Kishi's intention to belittle Sakura's character. Think about it, why would he ever do that to the HEROINE? It doesn't make sense, Heck even said that she was honest. So Yeah i don't think Sakura is as detestable as people are making her out to be. The Timing of her confession was wrong though but she did all this to prevent Naruto from being hurt so she truly does love Naruto.

You could make the argument that Kishi was pretty much used to people getting the wrong context of the confession so it didnt really bother him that much.

 

Regardless I'm not really sure him not contradicting a critic's POV on something really discredits himself saying that Sakura was sincere. Unless I'm mistaken Naruto called the whole thing an excuse to hide what she originally came to tell him about.

Edit: I believe that Kishi did all that for drama. His main goal is to confuse his fans. He likes to twist things up, so in the end we'd all be surprised if NS does become canon. In my opinion this whole thing make NS a lot more interesting and unpredictable to me.

I'm not saying she was lying, I'm on neither side.. I'm just not throwing away any possibilities. If she lied, good, if she didn't, that's fine too.

And also, it's really pointless to rely on Kishi's interview. His main goal is to confuse the reader (I'm juts quoting the interview).

I think they're probably referring to TakL who translated it differently. But both Ramen and  咲耶姫 personally sent me messages and translation examples a while back discrediting this.

Yes, he's giving his Point Of View on the matter and just like everyone else he (probably) missed the context. the way I see it there are 3 possibilities

 

1. Sakura was being honest and Kishi was being legit, and Kishi probably didn't care too much that a critic got the concept of it wrong 

 

2. The confession was dishonest and Kishi for whatever reason was kittening

 

3. Kishi's original intention was for her confession to sound honest but so many people got the context wrong he decided to just go with the flow and retcon her intentions.

Just wondering: is anybody invested with what happens between now and the end of the manga? Personally, it doesn't really matter what happens, as long as at the end, Naruto is the hokage, and marries Sakura. I don't really care how we get ther, as long as that is the ending (barring any ridiculous plot occurrences). Sasuke snuffing it would be the icing on the cake though, now that I think about it.

I give up. We won't agree. It's not a POV, it's an objective description of the different events. Why would only this passage be a false interpretation of the critic? If that's the case then when he says about NaruSasu's fight at the LOI that Naruto reads in Sasuke's heart and that Naruto sees it's not with a speech he's gonna "heal" Sasuke from madness , that they will both die if they fight and that he's anticipating calmly his destiny while he's answering to Sasuke who asked why he's doing that for him, that it's because he's his friend. Then all that is also billsh*t Kishimoto doesn't care about?

No, I'm sorry, but I prefer to not close my mind to any possibility. I'm not worry or frustrated if Sakura did lie at that time. 

Or another question, why do you (not only you pepsi) insist on the fact this particular scene would be a wrong interpretation of the manga by the critic? just because it confuses a lot of fans, he's not a fan, he's used to manga. But that's not my question, no, my question is why this scene would be misinterpreted by the critic and not the one in which he says Sakura was willing to give up on the chuunin exam because Naruto's dream happen to become her own one? Because the confession goes against what you think while the chuunin exam one fits in your way of thinking?

 

I hope I wasn't too harsh in my way of talking, I'm always afraid of expressing my opinion because of that. Sorry.

No one is worry about NS.  Can't we have a different opinion about something, an opinion that may not be good at first sight for NS without implying NS is dead or making people worry about its chance of happening?

In one panel he says That her feelings for Sasuke has changed but in the next panel he says she still has feelings for a person who tried to kill her. Just what does Kishi hope to achieve with Kakashi's redundant monologue ??

No, it's not confusing at all, neither redundont. He says her feelings have changed and then when he says you still has feelings for the one who tried to kill you, it is in the sense of "You still consider, think about the one who tried to kill you". And feelings doesn't only mean romantic feelings, she can have other feelings than romantic feelings. 

If you want I can give you a proper translation with an explanation?
