i followed the manga from the beginning. i was narusaku fan. then i got interested in pairing war. then i re-read the manga over and over again. then from all of the evidence i have found, i realized that its NH that would more likely to be happen. and i would love to see that . well, i joined H&E as a narusaku fan but now im proudly declare that im a naruhina fan .

Maybe cause I used to be an author and there are a bunch of female author, I usually found them as shoujo-fans. Cause, you know, SS and SH dominating ffn archive. Cool guy with the pretty girl story.
Even when I talked about NS on twitter, there's always SS-fans who came to debate, instead of NH-fans.

Explain your opinion then.... just saying NH has more of a chance than pairing with 200+ moments isn't enough. Please, explain how Kushina and Sakura aren't alike. If you can, then you will be 5% closer towards proving "NH has a better chance than NS" to us.

I hope you didn't think I was insulting you with that pic, it was meant to be funny. I put that pic there because to me it really sounded like you were being sarcastic about being a NaruHina fan, but if you really are one then I have absolutely no problems with it.

It's funny, cause I first fell in love with Naruto only on wikipedia, and when I decided to read all the comics, I never thought other pair than NS. They just ....... made for each other from beginning. Even the 'forehead' scene. I never thought of SS.

You can disagree all you want, man. But I defy you to show me a relationship that looks and sounds like the one between Naruto and Sakura occurring in the real world that does not end in abuse and heartbreak. Things do not happen this way in the real world. And if you ever found yourself in a relationship with a girl like that, a girl who yells at you, chastises you, and takes it upon herself to "keep you in line" until she decides it's time to be sweet and caring with you, you would see it through very different eyes. For the sake of comedy, in a fictional world, that may be fine. Not in the real world. Things aren't so forgiving in reality. I've dated a girl like that before, and "interesting" was the last word from my mind.

Before you start indulging in the fantasy and saying how wrong I am, I seriously want you to consider it. I don't care if you take this as Sakura bashing or not. It isn't. Seriously consider it. Consider dating a girl who calls you an idiot, yells at you, and feels the constant need to condescendingly play the "mature adult." Consider dating a girl who has a tendency of treating you like an embarrassment, and fawns after "cool" guys in spite of you. And when you've had just about enough of that, consider that girl reeling you back in by being sweet and caring for a while. Yeah, it may be funny in anime. It's not funny in real life. Trust me.

That is why Sakura is largely unpopular in America and other parts of the western world. Because in our culture, such a thing is not appealing. Because we know girls like that really do exist, and no man wants to put up with it. Not unless he's a total sycophant.

I am not Sakura bashing. I'm just telling you how this sort of thing translates into reality.

He's right we live in a Twi-Trash(Twilight + Trash) generation, if u look at hinata u can see a twilight/hunger games heroine because she does not play the support role as sakura but she fights.
Sakura fights too but kishimoto put her aside playing the support role for too long the last time i see her fighting alongside at naruto was at the bell-shippuuden test.

Just look at Not so amazing Spider-man( but we cannot make a full comparison since he got a lot of girlfriends) gwen looks like more hinata than sakura, i see sakura more like a oriental heroine that is tsundere(plays the role support usually have healing powers tend to me more calm and have feelings for the main character[deep inside]) ofc sakura loves sasuke but kishimoto had explained it in one of his interviews when he draw naruto sakura and sasuke he said that he had to do some research about rivalry stuff, so he put sakura to love sasuke and this is proven in one of the mangas when naruto says "why she loves sasuke?" naruto always ends up fighting against sasuke to show that he's awesome in front of sakura's eyes.

a example is naruto save sakura and hinata in the same chapter but hinata got more spotlight and chat-time with naruto.

i think either kishi or his editor make an "heroine" by accident or on purpose.

she's not perfect. Even Naruto was an annoying brat and stubborn in part 1.
If Sakura was created as a perfect person with nice personality, great power, and famous clan, dont you think she would be totally bored us--the readers.

If she's perfect, then what's the purpose of her character. She's grown up, just like Naruto.
So we can take a great lesson from this manga.

Well yeah. It's like we all said in here, Naruto is not going against his words. Granted, this is after his training that he was hoping that will happen, but the fact is that he has those mindset. Why would he think those? Because, since Team 7 is his most loved bonds, he wants to achieve them, (surprising Kakashi and Sasuke, Sakura to grow affection).Those words he said in his head is still the same as ever. Well, perhaps with some tweaks if you know what I mean.

He already done one thing, which is Kakashi. The other two is still in progress (again, updated version). I just don't understand why would Naruto will change his mind NOW as people proclaim he has. Hell, we just had Kuruma confirming that once he sets his goal, there is no turning back. His dreams are written in stone.

As of now, he doesn't need to say again since we readers get it. Imagine every new mission saying the same thing. It will be repetitive.
