I agree with red dragon its pointless to be arguing things from a game and try to analyse it to the canon manga. The Naruto/Hinata its fan service to please the fandom and have more sales (especially in the west since NH is famous there). We shouldn't even be comparing things from the game to the manga we'll be no better than the NH fandom who relies on a video game to prove their pairing will happen. Fans like VJ87G will buy the game and when he does the Naruto/Hinata combo move he will scream "this makes NH canon period!" then he'll make a video all about saying Ninja storm revolution is the only reliable source to show that NH will happen bla bla bla. When the reality is that the western fandom along with him will use the game to defend their pairing. A game Kishimoto has NOTHING to do about it (with exception of designing mecha Naruto), a game that is not considered canon manga material (except for the canon story obviously). So lets forget about the game let the fandom use it for pairing evidence.

 

I think I heard that Kishi also wrote the special stories in the game, the ones that take place in the past.

- The creation of Akatsuki

- Itachi and Shisui

- Kushina with Team Minato

 

Dunno about the one with Mecha-Naruto, maybe he did that too. At the very least he did the design like you said.

No, that's a false information. I saw an interview of soemone (don't remember who) from the staff of the video game (the director I think,the one who is always cosplayed as Naruto in sennin mode), and the guy said he asked Kishi's blessing about it but, it's CC that wrote about Itachi and Shisui, and about the creation of Akatsuki. 

He didn't say anything about Kushina and Team Minato though, but I guess it's the same, it's not from KIshi.

Eh, NH (or even SS) could have all the fanservice in the world in the game, but that doesn't mean you should panic about it. You'd think it was a chapter instead by the debate going on. It's either a slight annoyance or a big annoyance, but nevertheless it can be brushed off. When it comes to extra material outside of the original work, you win some and you lose some.

If you want more beautiful kataang moments then go for the comics. You can watch LOK if you want, just don't expect much from it.

Yes, and still, it's such a little fanservice, it's just a combo, it's not like they had a lovey dovey scene in which Naruto was saying he loves her. As I said, it's just a combo, it could have been with anyone else, there wouldn't have been such a debate. I think that even if it was a Naruto/Sakura combo, I wouldn't pay much attention to it. I would see it as a friendship combo, nothing else, so why would I be panicking about a Naruto/Hinata combo?

Well it doesn't effect the manga materials or anything, that remain to be true, but it's like I don't know, unfair. It's like I'm going to witness a misleading duo combo that never be. I don't know how they will do it but it's overdoing your ego being displayed. Not sure how I can describe, but it's like anyone can overwrite it. Naruto is too big to actually get a fan work being done rather than stick to the truth to the end. Like if it was a normal series, it wouldn't get that treatment. It's just annoying I guess I can say that, especially it's like the return of team special and I get kitten like that. But I guess I can deal with it. But if they feel stupid after what's to come in the manga, then too bad.

Oh really? Well that's irritating I have to say. It's obvious he will love Hinata, since the only Team he's in is Naruto/Hinata/Mecha-Naruto. But the good side of it is that it's like RTN: Mecha-Naruto in love with Hinata = Real Naruto not in love with Hinata. 

Good thing I stopped buying Naruto video games.

I think it comes from the Sai intervention right before Kage Summit. When Sakura appears to have grief over burdening Naruto with her promise and whatnot.

 

Btw, I don't think that's a good thing for both to feel unworthy of the other. One is not more valuable than the other person, despite any mistakes they may have made in the past.

Yeah I think you're right I recall some people say its because Sakura said something like "he's a fool for loving someone like me" I heard (or rather read) more than one person reference this but this quote was never in the manga the closest thing that came close was "The fool's in love with me" but that's about it.
