What the hell, I was waiting for a really powerful ending that would take me on a feel trip, but THIS... It's not even about NS, it could have ended in such a beautfiul way. Naruto's and Sasuke's battle had a very different and serious tone to it, which should have had different outcome. It feels like Kishimoto just got tired in the end, and all he really wanted was to end this manga as quickly as possible and on the number 700. After all the bad things Sasuke had done for Sakura, how could she forgive him so easily?

Plus, absolutely no interaction between characters, no closure on SO many things. I feel like this is some kind of sick joke, 700 doesn't give us an image of Naruto's and his comrades accomplished dreams. I see Naruto, a terrible father, who sits in a hokage chair all day, eats instant ramen and does f'in nothing. Not saying anything about names. And what's up with those skyscrapers in the background? Meh. looks like a stage play. everything seems out of place, like kishimoto didn't put his heart into the last pages of his lifelong and beloved work. Maybe drawings are made by him, but besides that, I don't see anything that would resemble the Naruto I fell in love with, this is not the ending of the manga I've been reading for so many years.

I'm disappointed.

just  wanted to tell you guys that a friend of mine who is a hard NS shipper is in hospital cause she had a heart attack 3-4 hours after reading the last chapter. congrats kishi, nice manga you got there.

Hope you guys are doing ok, Kishi kittenin disrespected all NS supporters out there.

one second you have Aang who lost everything and treats the idea of friends and family as precious.

then you have Legend of Korra which basically says he was a neglectful father. 

 

and Toph hooking up with 2 dudes that aren't even in their kid's lives.

Well, Sasuke and Hinata are the true winners in this chapter. While Naruto and Sakura look kind of ragged? Miserable?

As a Sasuke fan I should be satisfied.

As a Sasuke fan, are you happy with how his story was resolved? It's kinda weak to me. Like, "sorry, dude." And that's it!

Guys. I just came back from school.

& I thought of so much.

Warning: this speech is gonna be hella cheesy. But listen up.

After this two hot messes got released...I thought about it. I thought on how I was gonna forget about naruto & NS. But you know what, kitten DAT. Those characters, at the end...were not Naruto or Sakura. Like, they were complete strangers. Those were not mah babies. HELL NO. those two had most beautiful relationship/bond & development that it's hard to avoid it.

So, after all these years of being lazy I'm going to finally share my art & writing with you guys. Yes, NS work. Because in my world of denial (lol) NS are canon & don't you kittening deny they were meant to be. THEY WERE.

So thank you kishi. For creating these two pieces of kitten that are so called "endings". You inspired me to draw & improve on my art. To one day, hopefully in the future I will create my own series. & to make it beautiful & to treat my characters with the respect they deserve. & to share what I truly love.

So thank you kishi.

Yes, those were not Naruto and Sakura we knew. these were fanfiction Naruto and Sakura getting undeserved endings. The real Naruto and Sakura are still safe with us.

sigh - I remember the good ol days of the beggining of Naruto when it was more about sasusaku vs narusaku team7 love triangle, and had nothing to do with naruhina , the ship wasn't even thought of being a possibilty of being canon, and many people even considered it a crack ship...and then, her character started to get so popular that the shipping grew, and well the rest is history.

Yeah, most people here thinks he changed his mind, if not everyone. I agree with you. Why do you think he did it though? Money? Fan/editor pressure? There is no way we read this manga wrong since I hear people who don't care about ships in Naruto are angry and confused, too.

I don't think he was pressured into it. Kishi isn't the kind of guy who would be pressured. Most likely money, someone convinced him maybe
