You know.....the quote you mentioned...that is what exactly remains for Sakura to tell Naruto.

I mean she already did. "You saved Konoha once and now you are trying to save the whole ninja world. You are always left with this unsurmountable tasks to deal with. But this time no matter what you say...you will have help. We are going in together! And not just me, everyone is going to help you."

Something along the lines of....."Naruto you were always abandoned by everyone during our childhood. But you always cared for us and never abandoned us despite having every reason to. You didn't even have parents to care for you. You took care of everything all by yourself. But this time....I want to take care of you and do what I should have done a long time ago."....something like....she basically fills the void of mother and father's love, care and etc. in Naruto's heart!

Bolded: Don't give the other fandom any ideas. XD Next thing you know, the other fandoms start saying that Naruto loves Sakura like a mother.

So I was watching Sword Art Online today again, it is one of my favorite anime I like to watch (don't care what anyone else says), and while I did notice this before I didn't really put this into practice until now.

Kirito main love interest is Asuna. A tsundere type girl who is very strong, but very sweet as well. She cares deeply for him, but is also not afraid to scold him if he does something she don't like. That being said, Asuna was not his first love.

While Kirito first met Asuna in episode 2, he met another girl names Sachi in episode three. She looks and acts just like Hinata in almost everyway. Almost. She is shy, not that strong, she is soft spoken and sweet. She admires Kirito, but she is not exactly madly in love with him to the point of stalking. Instead, she gradually falls in love with him...or so it seems. It was one of the most heartfelt episodes because she dies and leaves Kirito a message saying how thankful she was to actually live her life even if it was short lived. It haunts Kirito for a long time.

I thought to myself, this is an example of how both NH and NS can be canon in the same series at the same time and I have to wonder how this would play if the same thing happened in Naruto.

What if Naruto met Sakura first, but fell in love with Hinata first. They have a close relationships, but one day she dies and it drives Naruto into a depression becoming a loner. He is not a bad guy, just keeps to himself because he doesn't want to be responsible for people's deaths. As time goes on, he grows a strong friendship with Asuna that matues into love and then they become canon. Basically, she tells him "You have tried to take care of everything by yourself, but this time I want to take care of you." (Actually not too far then how it is now.)

How would you think this alter the pairing wars as we know it if that actually occured?

He did actually. It was actually confirmed by the writer Kawahara Reki in a 2005 interview when the series was still just a light novel. He also confirmed this when he did what they call a "character interview" where people would ask the characters questions, Kirito admitted that he held feelings for Sachi before he fell in love with Asuna.

I think that Sakura does know, if not she should definitely know now. I mean Obito just said that he is a friend of Kakashi's and his (Naruto's) dad's subordinate, and she was right next to him when he said it, so she must have heard it. So, even if she did not know beforehand, she must know now. If not then I completely agree with your idea on Kishi hiding it on purpose so that there is another Minato NS interaction bomb.

Well the opposite has already happened very long time ago , Oh boy I still remember it it was in the NF Big 3 Paring Debate Thread when NH & SS were saying that Sakura's care and love for Naruto is motherly and at same time she loves him like a sibling and they have a sibling relationship and Kishi turning it into romantic would be sick its the same thing with the Kushi Kushi thing  WTF    .

But I'm wondering how she wasn't able to recognize him when he arrived on the battlefield, i recall in part 1 they went on and on about what a great hokage he was.

I mean even in 663  Gaara had a flashback of Kurama telling him to take him to his father  but to Sakura he says that they have to take him to the 4th place he doesn't say his father Why for what purpose he didn't tell her that ?

It will be even more emotional if Kushina is brought back to life! It will be even more emotional or atleast as emotional as 'The Orange Spark' and 'Thank You' episodes..

It would be ironic if it is when Minato is about to leave and just as he's hugging Naruto says his final words to him and then looks at Sakura who is behind them and says again "Please Take care of my Son" and then he's gone  now wouldn't that be something 

 

Yeah those ones along with Jiraiya's death and the 4th Hokage episode in the Pain arc are the only ones that made me feel emotional those were so great  as for Kushina coming back well lets hope our theory works XD.

He already did it if you haven't noticed.
The difference is that he didnt concluded it, Hinata's confession is the scenario you're looking for, she confesses to the hero, Naruto doesnt respond, she's supposed to have been dead, but survives mysteriously.
The arc gives hints that he may have liked Hinata on that way surprising the fandom but it's scrapped when Sakura is attacked by Kumogakure ninjas and Naruto goes sad after seeing Sakura crying because of Sasuke and because of that he decides to let himself being punched by Kumogakure ninjas.

Jiraiya's death......Man! I literally cried too much that time :(. Even now it gives me feels :(. Yes! I do hope our theory works XD. I think it is much plausible, tbh!

heh I don't even like Haru's character at all and yet he and Elie always seem to have one of the best pairing moments.
